The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful. the Lotte that I got was just okay. Nothing fabulous of the chart special. I would go back and try something else. I heard his hot chocolate is fabulous. I would like to go back and try the hot chocolate.

Amazing spot. Greg the main man is a true artist, he goes the extra mile to make his espresso perfect. I wanted an unsweetened mocha. He made it with cocoa powder instead of syrup, and took extra care to make sure it came out right, which is a little more challenging with the powder. And he’s very personable (a rare trait in a true barista ;) Great little community hub.Good wifi and peaceful atmosphere in the late morning.

The owner makes great coffees. Just like in Europe. They have tiny place to sit outside and its just amazing.

My boyfriend and I stopped in this morning looking for a good cup of coffee! We aren’t local, and actually both work at coffee shops, so we wanted a good, quality Albuquerque coffee shop. This place did not let us down!! We LOVEDDDDD it! The owner was so kind, even had us try our coffees before he put ice in it to make sure we liked them. Then he sat and chatted with us for a minute!! If you’re a coffee guru and only in it for the espresso taste, this is your place! The espresso is FANTASTIC! We really loved this shop and will be going back anytime we are in downtown. I normally dislike coffee but I wanted to try somthing new I absolutely loved my drink, the owner was also very kind and adamant on making sure our drinks were to our liking and offered to adjust it too. Ive never been to a place that cared that much about making sure you were happy.

The owner has a warm heart. He was very passionate to offer the best coffee taste and hospitality. He opened a bottle sparkling water and gave a slice of bread for free. Today’s visit definitely made our day. The best coffee in the states.

Have been road tripping the west and just ordered a latte from this quaint place. Being coffee-obsessed, this is easily the best coffee I’ve had out here! Do not let the small size of the shop or the reasonable prices dexeive you as this is hands down one of the best espresso cafes in Albuquerque. The owner is a true master of the art with world wide recognition and can make any coffee espresso request you desire. This is one of the very few places that I would include on any top 10 list of places and things you must do while visiting Albuquerque!

The reviews are spot-on; this place is amazing. We have an espresso machine at home which we utilize daily. When we travel we enjoy finding local coffee shops. My husband always proclaims that he can make his drink better at home. He actually admitted that the drink he had today from this small shop might be better than his at home. This. Is. My husband and I were looking for a random coffee shop to kill some time before a concert and came across this place. When we came in we were immediately greeted by a very nice man who I’m assuming is the owner. He informed us that the shop was actually closed but he would be happy to make us some to go drinks. We didn’t want to impose so we said we’d come back another time. He then offered a drink on the house of our choosing. It was delicious! I wish we had some cash on us to tip him, but we will absolutely be back another time during his actual hours and will tip him for sure! Beautiful, unique coffee shop and very friendly service! I will definitely be recommending Espresso Fino to all friends and family!

If you drink coffee, you cannot be in Albuquerque and not go to this place. Youre treated like a friend, even if its your first time. Not only the menu states theyll make any coffee drink any way you want, hot or cold, but he ASKS you to try it once its made so he can make it perfect for you if its not. Great experience; will always stop by when in town.

Customer service is huge for me. Greg is exactly what an owner should be: helpful, friendly, and made me feel at home. I loved getting to meet him and I recommend going to his place whenever you get the chance.

I really love this cozy space and all the cool little details in the shop itself, the environment is pretty awesome and Greg was really easy to talk with. He can make an incredible Mocha! And fine isnt acceptable to him, hell recraft the coffee if its not incredible the first time (and mine was perfection on the first try!)

Darling coffee shop with a lovely owner. He asked me to describe the type of coffee I like, and made a custom drink based on that. He also said that hed remake my drink if I wasnt satisfied, however my drink was delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Not for me, but work a visit and it might work for you. Theres a wide variety of choices, including many different espresso-based drinks. The barista (owner?) was super friendly, asked us about or preferences for the preparation of drinks. He seemed genuinely open for feedback. However, all the roasts were too dark (bitter) for my personal taste.

There is a reason that this little gem has Best of Albuquerque honors....the experience is over the top! You can tell the beans are top quality....full of flavor and no bitterness. Best latte that I think I have ever had in Albuquerque. I happened upon it while I was working in the area....and will definitely be back for more caffeinated deliciousness!

Best coffee shop in town. Greg is a Master Barista, is incredibly kind and consistent. Its a small and cozy shop but if you live or work downtown this should be your stop. Regardless of how busy it is watching him at work is a thing of beauty. Hell knock out several difficult to make drinks in a row with ease and speed. He also has an incredible memory, Ive seen regularly remember peoples names and favorite orders.Plus, there is an awesome Godzilla action figure.

I love coffee and coffee shops, and though I don’t frequent Espresso Fino as much as some I’ve never found a better place for coffee in all my travels. Whether you’ve never liked coffee, never tried it, or are the most die hard experienced coffee nerd on earth - this place is for you. It’s small, simple, tasteful, and run by someone whose true love is coffee and can’t keep that love to himself - it’s contagious. There’s something magical about the coffee here - I don’t even have a way of describing it. Closest thing to perfection in an imperfect world.

Weve passed by Espresso Fino on a few occasions and have always loved the quaint exterior of the shop. The menu is incredibly diverse as they will make anything you want, and ask you after you get your beverage if there is any changes that need to be made to it. The coffee/espresso itself is incredibly delicious, and the presentation of their lattes is spot on. The owners are extremely charming, funny, and personable. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be returning soon!

Great espresso! They offer the traditional drinks from the menu, but youre also welcome to make up your own drink, so you can get exactly the drink youre looking for. I described what I wanted, and was not disappointed.

Even though I was the only person in line it took him forever to acknowledge me--probably because I was standing in the wrong place, but is that a reason not to talk to me? Also, although he prepared my latte from scratch it was not hot enough. Finally, the place is extremely small and was so warm that I was not able to relax and read for a while as planned.

Delicious coffee (I had an almond milk latte on this visit), carefully made at a good price. Service was excellent. Gentleman was super friendly and welcoming, and even took the time to explain all the different drink options to me. I also love that theyre open at 7am, which seems to be a little earlier than other places downtown. For those visiting ABQ (like me), an easy walk from downtown hotels.

This place is EXTREMELY small, but it lacks a punch. Don’t bring a bunch of friends, because there’s no where to sit. Instead, pick your favorite person and enjoy a PERFECTLY crafted coffee at a local place that knows EXACTLY what they are doing.

The owner let us in even though he appeared to be closing. We said we didn’t want to come in if he was about to leave. Ive been going to this place for years. It might be small in size but it is large on heart. The service is excellent and everyone that works there seem jovial and welcoming. I would recommend this coffee house over the many others in the area.

I was skeptical about high rating. But upon my arrival I began to understand why the rating was so high. The atmosphere is great there is no doubt about it. The service is outstanding. The barista noticed my snobby-ness and worked with me for find the right been for me. Awesome coffee stop - I ordered an Almond Latte and it was awesome. My wife had am extra hot chai. The shop was a one man operation but amazingly efficient. Obviously he has a regular set of repeat customers who he prepped drinks for without words exchanged other than morning pleasantries.

Stopped by on our stay this week and I was incredibly satisfied. I am a coffee connoisseur and the baristas careful attention and calm demeanor was a relief. I felt like I could calmly enjoy my coffee and didnt need to be rushed as I would at a Starbucks.

This is my second trip back... Had to follow up on what I had said in a previous review that this was the best flat white ever. Wanted to see if the Barista was a one-hit wonder... Found out he was not. This is the same fantastic consistent flat white that I had the first time. Bravo!

I only went to Espresso Fino twice, but thats all it took for him to know how I take my coffee, what I do for a living, and what I was doing in Albuquerque. This place is everything a coffee shop should be.
