Absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh and made to your specifications. Their menu is always being updated with new items and bagel selections. Its kind of pricey but its a very filling and satisfying meal. This is the avocado, bacon and tomato, minus the tomato but w tomato smear on a gourmet cheesy hash brown bagel. The coffee is pretty good too! Mmmmm

The portions on the nova lox are rediculous. Ive seen more salmon in a desert than on my bagel. Wont be back.

Clean store with a good selection of bagels. Very friendly service. They had just made some green Chile bagels and they were able to cut it for me even though it was barely made. Definitely recommend of youre by the university area. My only complaint is that they used a bit too much schmear than normal. Very good bagel regardless.

Super nice and helpful staff. I was able to order before getting their and they had everything ready. Place was clean and inviting. There is parking in the street and a parking lot in the back of the building. Their bagels were soft and chew and their cream cheeses were really good.

This location continues to be my favorite, and theres a few reasons why. First, this location is right across the street from campus, making emergency snack runs an easy feat. Secondly, Ive always found myself impressed with the efficiency and level of service Ive gotten near every time Ive visited. Lastly, the manager that runs this store is absolutely on top of her stuff and always kind no matter how busy it is!Pro tips: Order ahead (promo for free coffee is still happening and you dont have to wait in line), use the rewards app (Im not a super regular customer and still get pretty good freebies), and try the french toast or apple cinnamon bagels w/ honey almond shmear (thank me later).

Thy always seem to find a way to screw up my order here. Avoid this one, and go to the Einsteins on Cutler, run by Frank. They always get everything right, and are the fastest in town! Ive been coming to this location for almost ten years, and the management is at an all time low these days.

I came around 1:50 pm and online and every einstein closes at 2pm but they closed way too earlier. Drove 30 minutes and it was closed. Bad einstein franchise.

I LOVE Einstein Bros. bagels, but NOT this location. The store across from UNM has lousy service, rude employees, and they always run out of coffee or half and half, or tuna salad or BAGELS! This is usually by 10 in the morning that they say sorry were out of... Replace your stock and prep your food better! Get a better staff who has some initiative and not bad attitudes. EVERY other location in Albuquerque is great. This location has gone downhill.

I arrived at 7am on a Monday and there was no waiting. Friendly staff who helped sign me up for rewards and select a good assortment of beagles for office breakfast. I enjoyed the salmon flavored cream cheese... Reminded me of Philadelphia salmon my beagle for back east

This is the last time I buy anything here.The last time I dropped in the staff had vulgar rap music blaring in the back.I walked in to the N-word, among other things profanities, and waited several minutes for the staff members to come out to help.I let them know that the music was wildly inappropriate and the manager on duty argued with me that it was in a different language.It was not.I took my food, left and decided not to go back for a while. Its been a few months since that incident and I returned today.Surprise, surprise nothing is better. The customer before me ordered a Nova lox bagel and the staff just must not change out their knives because my bagel had some gross, reddish, gooey stuff on the bread where it was sliced (upload of pic to come).Cross contamination is a HUGE problem and it seems to be one that to one in this store cares about.I went to let the staff know and stood there for a while while the two girls had their backs turned to the front counter and they were giggling at something on one or their phones.I was willing to let go of the fact that while we ordered one girl talked over the other to get a bagel flavor while we were ordering, but this was just too much.

Great bagel shop. Been going for 15 years. Favorites: 1. a lox and cream cheese poppyseed bagel with capers.2. Any bagel w/honey almond smear.Their hot cocoa is some of the best in town.

Quick delicious food if youre into carbs and so so coffee. Luv the variety of bagels and bagel sandwiches and cream cheeses. Very little available for vegetarians and vegans.

Great staff! The app never works when I use it for some reason and on a busy morning the staff was patient and helped me get my free drink! Huge shout out to the way they handled this issue , they did not hold me up or anyone else in line.

There is a cashier who gave a free cup of coffee to a homeless man who had nothing but pennies and dimes. Its very rare that i see acts of kindness like this. I wish more people would be like this woman. She was also very nice when taking my order and the food was great. Because of her act of kindness, I WILL continue to frequent this place. Even more so now!!

This place seen at 3:45 in breaking bad S5E1. Walt was at a Dennys, 2608 central, but its more chipotle/Verizon/Jersey Mike. You can see this next to Valero which isnt there anymore either. But you know this is the place. Pause at 3:45 you see buildings on right side plus Columbia street. Then you can see the downspout on the bagel building.

Poor selection of bagels. What bagels and sweets were there had been way overcooked. I usually go during the week and can walk away happy. It was depressing. Not recommended on a weekend. Staff were nice though.

Parking was interesting cause 1st thing you see is Starbucks Customers only, so you have to find the signs that direct you to the back of the building to park. But Einstein Bros. is almost always good and this one was good.

Staff and food is great. Parking is a joke. They have a designated lot for the store... but for some reason you still get a ticket from some short women and her clipboard... If you have shorty out there giving out fake tickets made off of microsoft word than ill just take my business next door instead of feeding her power tripped ego.

For a minute I forgot that I was never going to return to this Einsteins. I think now I will remember. A server greeted me with a loud insincere How are you. She and the male server talked to each other quite a bit before he decided he would ask me what I wanted. But first, he announced sullenly, Our machine isnt working so we can only take cash. I said that was okay. I got my bagels home, and they were not fully baked. It should have been a clue when they did not slice properly but had to be torn apart. To avoid eating them raw, I toasted them for a long time. The result was not toasted bagels but rock-hard toasted bagel dough. Dismal experience.

Great service. The bagels are on point and they have some serious variety with cream cheese flavors. They have a lot of bagel sandwiches that are big, healthy and tasty.

Very good bagels for a chain store. Great for seminars and staff gatherings because of their quick to go bulk bagels and coffee. Standard assortment of bagels add one.

I just needed to share my amazing experience here at Einsteins! To start Im in charge of picking up breakfast for a monthly meeting at work and I use this store everytime because of how on it they are on a usual basis. My order is always ready to be picked up on time with all of the knives, cups, plates, etc that we might need. The reason Im writing this review today though is the absolutely fantastic service I received from Patricia, the catering manager. I placed my usual catering order online, however like the fool I am, I ordered it for the wrong date. I showed up in the morning to pick up my order and obviously it wasnt there. Patricia instantly jumped into action saying it was no issue and quickly gathered the things I needed for my order. Despite my mistake, I was out the door in just a few minutes. Thank you Patricia for the 5 star service!

Went to Einstein Bros at UNM. On Central Avenue. Order two tuna sandwiches the girl says theyre out of tuna I asked if they could make some she said maybe this afternoon after 1. Why have it on the menu if it is not available ever at this store. Poor customer service.

The bagels are delicious, as is the shmear. The service is always quick, given how busy it can get. The employees are friendly and very helpful.I have been coming to this location weekly for almost a semester now, and have only had one bad experience. An employee made disparaging remarks about his coworkers to me as I paid, the next time I came I talked to a manager, that employee had been dismissed. I have never had any other troubles here.

Stop here eveytime Im here on biz. The staff are always so friendly even at 7am lol. They def give me a boost without caffeine. Great bagels and good choice of schmears

3/4/18 around 8:15am. Just took to-go order home. First, 4 employess were standing around chatting it up, while no one was making our order. There were no other pending orders. One employee (male) finally noticed and pointed it out to another (female) on the monitor. When we got home, one sandwich, which was ordered with no cheese, had all the cheese and we found some egg shell in the same sandwich. Unfortunately, never going back.

So I ordered two grab and go packs and asked for a wide variety of bagels, the staff pretty much gave me nothing but plain bagels...stay away from this bagel shop. The staff is clearly overworked and underpaid to care about quality.

Saturday Saturday morning, good service, friendly. They brought our meals out to us. This is a good Einsteins, the only thing it doesnt have vs others is the espresso bar.

The employees are super friendly, and they have the best everything bagels Ive had in town.

Was in the other day and heard a guest being very rude to one of the employees about something that obviously wasn’t her fault (they had run out of coffee boxes due to a large catering order taking up their last ones) and this woman was being very nasty about it. Employee’s attitude never turned sour and she kept a pleasant demeanor even though the customer was probably upsetting her. The staff here is great food and service are always fast and good

Atmosphere has declined at the UNM location on Central Ave. Its too bad because Einstein Bagels is usually delicious and a nice place for students to spend time.

I have been away from Albuquerque for a few years (13) & when I left this place rocked. What happened idk must go back. My beagle was raw in the middle. Wow maybe Ill give you a 2nd chance. Just not today.

I come for the coffee, its nothing to write home about. The blends and the flavored coffee are a travesty. Einstein needs real coffee throughout.

Normally a great place. Good service, but this morning I went in and purchased food for the office but when I got back to the office to give everyone their stuff, I only had two bagels. I was very unhappy that the distracted staff didnt get my order right and I did not get breakfast.

So we placed our order with a friendly young lady who was obviously new and needed some help entering a gift card. Her manager treated her like garbage while she rang it in then went to help another employee make the order (more on her in a sec). We get home and the order was wrong so I went back in (the green chile bagels are soup if they are not toasted). The girl that the manager helped make the order was standing at the counter on her phone. I let her know that the bagels were supposed to be toasted with cream cheese on the side and judging by the look on her face, I think she thought I said, Your mother is a donkey-hooker. because she began a bagel cooking tantrum that was actually amusing. She threw her phone on the prep table, threw two bagels in the toaster oven, slammed the oven door (automatic toaster was broken), spooned cream cheese into the containers like she was fisting a mule, gets the stuff together and almost threw the bag over the counter at me. This employee (Dez or Pez or something equally obnoxious) acted like she was better than her job in clear millennial-fashion.

The staff was efficient and the food was properly prepared and came within 5 minutes.

The weekend crew doesnt seem to know how to run a breakfast place, went on Saturday morning, two of the four coffee carafes were empty, vanilla creamer also empty, ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and got a cinnamon one (I dont like cinnamon).

Keep in mind going after noon on weekends some items maybe low or out since they close earlier in the day and people tend to get lots of bagels on weekends for group meetings and what not. They sometimes bake some extra if they run low on an item ealier than anticipated so ask for it, they may have it on tray in back.

I have never encountered such rude employees. One woman blatantly ignored us, and instead chose to stuff her face with a cookie. The other woman behind the counter rolled her eyes when we asked for the coffee cup SHE had forgotten to give us. This has been the second time I have dealt with extremely rude employees here. I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy.

Really rude staff at the einsteins on central and stanford. Had to get my money back for a coffee that was made incorrectly. I tried to wait for them to remake it but they ignored my request for a remake. Oh well. Ill stick to starbucks.
