These comments are mainly about the grocery department. This store is almost always too crowded, with shoppers acting like animals trying to survive. The aisles are too small. They have tons of stuff and rarely the product I want. The prices are ridiculously high. For example I wanted a cheap beef chuck roast and their price was $7.99 lb. Every time I go there I am irritated for one reason or another. The only saving grace is their produce department for its variety and abundance.

I have an anxiety disorder and require ESAs while they are rats they are clean healthy and trained and of course they stay on my person Fred Meyer is great as they allow me to have my girls as long as i dont try to bother people i will shop hear for many years more as long as the kind service i have received keeps up you guys have earned this good rating :)

I forgot to catch the young mans name that assisted me in the apparel part of the store on the afternoon of Dec. 17 but he did an excellent job. He was courteous, helpful and he remained busy assisting other customers as well as keep his work area neat clean and organize. The only reason why I only gave them four stars is because I always believe there is room for improvement and hiring more people like that young man would be an excellent start.

I went in today to have a watch fitted for me for a buddies wedding. Lisa was busy with a guest but you could see they were having an outstanding experience. Once done with them I could see why they sought out help from her, she was able to to get my watch fitted to an exact hug to my wrist (my prefered fit). After that we talked about a couple of Gschocks in the case and how I may wanna finance one in the near future and she was honest with her experience in doing so which made me feel more comfortable with doing so in the near future. Thank you again Lisa! I will be coming back 😁

It is probably in the best location for a Fred Meyers in Albany. They have a bike rack, and a spot to charge 1 electric vehicle.The employees sometimes seem rushed. It is going through some updates currently.

The constant digital coupon garbage is getting old, too the point Im probably going to avoid this store from now on and use WinCo instead.Im not going to play the game of them harvesting my data to sell by pestering me to download a useless app just to get a small discount.They refuse to honor the digital prices unless your hand them your information and consent to be spammed to death, no thanks.There are other stores that have the same prices without the junk mail and telemarketer calls, and Ill shop there instead.

Literally been going to this store since I was a child and todays interaction has caused me to never set foot in there again. I was refused service because they thought my reason for buying money orders wasnt good enough. The lady at the counter legitimately profiled me and by that judgement decided she would refuse me service. I call and asked to talk to a Manger and I got a blanket response of well, we have the right to refuse service if we deem the reason to be suspect her tone told me she was sorry, not sorry and she kept using the same blanket response. She was most likely the same lady that profiled me and refused to sell me the money order to begin with. I just wanted you to know that if Fred Meyers doesnt think your reason for needing money orders is good enough, they will refuse you. However, Safeway didnt bat an eye when I asked for them.

The workers are always pleasant and if they make a mistake, make you wait too long, dont have a product you asked for, they always make up for it in some way. No social distancing is being observed. This place is going to make so many people sick. Employees in the produce section wiping their nose with bare hands then going back to work! Avoid this den of disease and definitely avoid ordering groceries for pickup or delivery. The employees picking items for delivery were the grossest offenders of health and safety

I used to like this store a lot more. They have gone the way of safeway/albertsons where they want you to buy 5 bags of chips or 5 bottles of lemonade to get the best price. Look, its just me and my wife, I dont want 4 half gallons of milk, just give me one for the sale price. I promise you will sell the others, I also dont like to have to have an app on my phone just to get the discount either. Anyway, still a good selection but more difficult to shop there. Also I have arthritis and am almost senior so I go in at 6 a.m. to avoid covid. Well the one in Eugene doesnt start checkers till 7 a.m. so I have to do the self checkout. Meaning I have to handle everything one extra painful time and deal with that scanner barking at me every other item. Anyway I know they are not the cheapest but it was worth it for the selection and having fast, mulitple checkers. Shopping more and more elsewhere now, if its going to be a pain I may as well go to walmart and save money without having to buy a years worth of frickin beans just to get the sale price.

Purchased fuel tonight, attendant by the name of Jordan was who filled my Camaro zl1. I appreciate Jordan’s Courtesy and professionalism. He was very respectful to not only me but my car as well.Won’t be long til he’s management, that’s coming from experience. If Kroger knows how to recognize a leader, then he needs looked at.

Until recently I didnt realize how many people relied on the power chairs. My husband and I since hes had his surgery on his knee always decide if were going shopping based if there is working or available power chair for him to get around. With out being in more pain after having to crutch around the store because three power chairs were not charged or working.. make room for more power chairs. And maybe youll see a rise in the older community shopping.

I use to like shopping here... not anymore... I doubt they even clean the store. I had to tell a lady to keep back... hardly anyone was wearing a face mask. I am shocked and disappointed...will be shopping at Costco for future needs... shame on you.

Ive notice that the employees dont force the social distancing rules, many dont wear a mask and when I ask them about it. They give me a rude response and tell me they have a doctor note allowing them to not be allowed to wear a mask. I find this to be very disturbing because it makes me feel that Kroger and the store manager dont care about your health. I went to the customer service desk and the assistant store manager came to see me. I told him about the mask wearing and he told me, Legally, if my employee has a note from a doctor office saying they cant wear a mask then we have to honor that. I try to tell him that my Aunt (DOJ lawyer) said that is not true and he gave me more attitude. During the Covid-19 outbreak, Im shopping at Target (which is very close the price for items as Fred Meyers. Target is very strict about cleaning the store, ALL EMPLOYEES MUST wear a mask at all times, and strict about the social distancing too. I feel safer at Target and you might too.

The place I visit most often. The crew is polite and helpful. The store itself is clean and well maintained. Prices for groceries are average, everything else is a bit pricey. Food selection is excellent and varied. The store is the centerpiece of a significant residential area of Albany and across the street from the Albany Heritage Shopping Mall. The local theater is immediately behind the store and the public library a bit past the theater.This Fred Meyer has a Jeweler on staff next to the inside Chase bank. The Peets Coffee kiosk is excellent as well (just inside the West entrance).

I tried to order delivery of groceries to2445 Geary St SE and was told you do not deliver to this address WHY ?????? I need grocery and can pay. I don’t have any way to pick up.

Nice store and seems well clean. The employees also seem friendly and helpful when you track one down. Prices are generally higher than other places. Sometimes you can find a good deal when there is a sale going on.

Once I switched from Clicklist I hated working here. Rude customers and managers. They dont care about their employees only their bottom lines. Not enough necessary equipment to do my job accurately due to company cheapness and neglect. 2 stars only because certain coworkers made my days better.

Great choice of products, employees are always nice & polite, however, give 3 as i have never had a successful outcome at checkout when I have had a problem with my digital app, coupons and or discount questions which involve the cart of groceries and the reason for the trip to the store. In the end, always end up spending more money as I would not have purchased then otherwise. I walk out feeling very frustrated as at all other retail stores, every one of these issues are resolved on the tail end at checkout. Were not talking about small sums of change when you add up all of the discounts over a long. Of time

One stop shopping.Im impressed with their attention to the leading edge in consumer demand, especially in grocery.With personal shopper services and easy meal solutions like prepared and par cooked meals Freddys should continue to be relevant to the consumer in the foreseeable future.Add to this the fact their employees are union (UFCW 555) and you can feel good that your dollars spent at Freddys are supporting living wage jobs in your community.

I love this Fred Meyer. The people here are always friendly and helpful and they have quality product. Not too big a fan of their parking lot, but no one is perfect.*edit* I actually am never going to shop here again. Fred Meyer, Albany, has been my go to store for many years. My first experience with Fred Meyer was a a store in the Park Rose area of Portland, Ore. , back in 1968. When I visit our Albany Fred Meyer, I feel like Im coming home! Ive never met anyone who works there who has not been friendly and most helpful. Many times, a worker will go out of their way to take me to another dept., and help me find my item;or, they will find someone who can help me. I have sent in many names of those who have been especially helpful. He or she, has gone above and beyond to assist me. Today, I want to give special recognition to Fred, Ashley, Laurie, and Audra! When I think of my Albany store, I think of Fred, who has faithfully served Fred Meyer and we customers for many, many years! Heres to you , FRED! I have always been able to find what I want--even the hard to find items! To sum up how I feel about our Albany Freddies store--I would say this: Fresh foods, and friendly , helpful,service!

The new Freddys Clicklist service has revolutionized my grocery shopping experience. All I can say is that it works perfectly and is worth every bit of the less than $5 service charge. I simply select what I want online, make notes about freshness or ripeness, and my order is brought to my car and loaded by friendly shopping attendants. There is reserved parking, and Ive never waited longer than five minutes for my order to be brought out. As a disabled person, I cannot stress enough how this has enabled me to grocery shop without pain or stress.

Michael was proficient in helping my wife & I, in honoring our lifetime warranties on several pieces of jewelry we brought in to have fixed. He succeeded where several others had failed at getting the back off of my watch, and replaced the battery under warranty. Thanks Michael! Keep up the good work!

Clicklist experience was very good. I had things to do in a Albany and decided to save myself another stop and used the grocery pick up service. It was very smooth process. I wish it was available in my town.

❌❌❌9/27/17 7:00pm Dont go to the deli the employees are incompetent. I was told I had to buy a sandwich that was made in the morning and this was at 7 oclock at night. Multiple employees in the deli told me different policies. I truly believe they dont know whats going on and need to be retrained this falls on management. Greg who I spoke with in management obviously is not doing his job and I could tell he didnt care.So this sandwich sat in their display case all day with mayonnaise and mustard and soggy bread, I asked the store manager if he thinks thats right and he said he eats them all the time, WOW. Finally when they agreed to make a fresh sandwich out of five people or more nobody knew how to make the sandwich they had to read about it in a book.To top it off they have multiple sandwich boards indicating fresh made sandwiches. Horrible customer service and definitely not familiar with the food industry I would not trust eating from this deli.The store manager I spoke with by the name of Greg seemed not too concerned about my complaints so I gave him my shopping basket and left without purchasing anything. They lost a customer I will not return to Fred Meyer.I wouldnt recommend

I have had an amazing experience here at Fred Meyers in Albany OR. I met the nicest most sweetest cashier while shopping. She went out of her way to just be so kind and made me feel right at home. Her name is Eugenia shes absolutely amazing. I live in Corvallis but will probably shop at Fred Meyers Albany just to have that experience again..

While I dont shop here regularly (I tend to shop the lowest possible prices) Im usually pleasantly surprised when I come in to this store. Its bright, clean, updated on a regular basis. There is a great selection of quality products and an array of departments from bakery to home decor to lingerie to electronics, on and on. Really nice.

Always friendly help. If I cant find an item, a clerk will help me look until we find it--if it is in stock. Love the healthy food selections, too.

Couldnt find a specific item and a young man, who was helping another customer.....can back and took me to the item......pointed out the coupon and was very genuine and displayed great manners for a hot Sunday afternoon. I should have looked at his name tag.....but he had a man tail on top of his head..........and he wore it very well. 👊👍😀

Well we love Fred Meyer. But her name is Cheryl who was out cashier. It always takes so long to go through her line because she cant seem to talk and work at the same time. Unfortunately she is the only one in which has one or two customers in line so we go hoping to get thru quicker but it never happens she needs to just scan if she cant do both at the same time. Its a Fred Meyers. Pretty typical, as their stores generally have good quality. Customer service is awesome and they always have helpful, friendly staff and fresh produce. The one complaint is their meats. On multiple occasions (five times now over the span of two years) we have had beef go bad on us several days before expiration, or the day after purchase - in an refrigerator or freezer like you would expect. We havent had any issues with returns but its still a pain and a shame that we shop here for almost everything except meats now.

I bought a picture frame about a month ago and decided to go with a different color scheme. I did not have my receipt and I paid cash. I already figured that they would give me a gift card which I had no problem with. However, being treated like a POS and then only getting half of what I paid for the frame did upset me. The lady was rude, thats being nice. I have never been so offended or treated so badly in my life. I am a hard-working woman and to be treated like that, well, sorry to say, they lost me as a customer. I had no problem with it getting put on a gift card , what I had a problem with was her attitude, her tone of voice, only recieving $9.99 when the picture frame cost 1999 . What a rip and the fact that she practically threw the freaking card at me! Worst customer service ever! The only reason I didnt say anything is because I just got off work working a graveyard shift with very little sleep the day before. But, you never know, I just may come back later and find the manager. Because if she treated me like that, I wonder if she treats all customers like that.

Worked here for 2 years and it was great! Great people and work environment. Left for a better oppurtunity for a year but ended up trying to come back, but HR had switched. Let me just say, what an awful choice for an HR person. Previously I felt so cared for, but in a one on one interview with the new HR I was treated like a number, not a person. Left with a bad taste in my mouth never wanting to come back.

Usually find everything on my list here and then those items I seem to find whether I need them or not. Love the one stop shopping. Our checkers are always so friendly and they actually listen to what we say. Much appreciated.

The wine guy is super & will order what ever you want. It is always there when you need it. They have the freshest produce of any stores in Salem or any town close by. They always have the best buys on clothing & tons of sales almost all the time. A great value for a family of any size or age.

Store provides a nice mix of assorted sundries and grocery items. Bakery and Deli provide freshly made items every day, and they offer a free piece of fruit for children to eat while their parents grocery shop! A great good neighbor policy from a Pacific Northwest Institution.

Made a special order 48 hours in advance for fried chicken. Was to be ready today at 11 am today. I showed up at 11 to pick up my order. They hadnt even started preparing it yet. I had 30 people to feed between 1130 and noon. They stated they were busy and just didnt have time to get to it yet. They didnt have near enough in the display case. I had to go to plan B. Not happy. No offer to help or make it right. I made sure all 30 of my people knew what happened. This Fred Meyer Deli department can not be trusted to get the job done. I will not use them again.

I love my Fred Meyer store and can pretty much buy everything i need in one stop other than i wish they would remodel the womans bathroom as its pretty bad iv been shopping there for over 32 years! Seen lots of changes!

Ive been in 4 or 5 Fred Myers stores but this one is by far the nicest, most well stocked store Ive ever been in. If you cant find it here, you probably dont really need it. The variety and selection of products is almost bewildering. My favorite store ever!

Nice store but the deli worker wasnt all there. Getting food for the family and each of us had to repeat our order at least three times. Kept coming back and asking what we wanted and seemed like he kept getting sidetracked. Took forever!

Clean store, looks nice walking in. Then things get confusing. I stood at the entrance for way too long trying to figure out what direction I should go to find my purchase. Aisles are crowded. Staff was helpful if you could find one, but had no time to help you search for something. The whole set up of the store seems like a maze you may not make it out of.

The grocery pick up service is poor. Many of the items I ordered simply didnt get filled. This was due to the confusing app or problems internally. Further, when I complained, your second-rate manager didnt understand why I was upset and verbally said so twice. Really? Go back to learn some customer service boy, youve earned it. Im done with Fred Meyer.

My go-to shopping place. Has a nice variety and decent selection. Not too expensive. Has organics and a good meat and bakery section.

You spent all that money and time to improve parking, then take up two full parking isles for sale items out in the parking lot. I am recovering from back surgery, but I am not considered disabled so cant park in disabled parking. Walking up that hill on the west side, or parking out in the north forty on the east side is just NOT going to cut it for me. I will be going somewhere else for my prescriptions and groceries, that is easier to get into.

Went to return a gift that was given to me and at the customer service desk it says you can do a $75 return out your recite.... I tried to return $45 worth of stuff and j was told I cant because I stole that stuff from them..... When Ive never been in that store before. I will never ever go there again.

Ive changed from 5 star to 1 star due to your website. It took 10 customer service reps and 6 hours to figure out an issue with it. I have reported it. In all fairness, your actual store is awesome, your customer service center and website are pretty bad.

More personal than your Larger scale nationwide stores, Fred Meyer has been a staple of Oregon for ever. Literally at or about 100 years.

Bakery was out of this world. I bought both my kids Bday cakes there and rhey were beautiful and delicious.

I shop there at least once a week, every since the last remodel I still have a hard time finding some things, thank goodness for your overhead signs, those are very helpful. When I buy some products then I receive coupons, I sometimes spend quite a bit of time looking for these items, sometimes I find the item, sometimes not. I used to buy one special dog food, I received a coupon from the store, your store no longer carried the dog food, but you were very generous & allowed me to use the coupon for a different brand.i do not like the employee wanting me to do a survey when I get home from shopping, I have tried to do these surveys. They said I would have to agree to receive unwanted phone calls or E-mails, so I ignore them.I do enjoy shopping at Fred Meyer, as a rule the employees are friendly & helpful, I like the one stop shopping, I can get most everything in the store. I get prescriptions there, to pick up those & then get clothes, misc. & groceries, makes it very helpful.

I met Casey Wehrley today who works at Fred Meyer. Today. She treated me with great respect. I found that in all business transactions she is very fair to all parties involved. She discussed terms very diplomatic, and conveys a great deal of sincerity, and trust. I would recommend Fred Meyer and Casey Wehrley for all your shopping needs
