Gas attendant broke my key off in my gas lid.Manager came out, offered me a meal from deli and had a mobile tech come out and make a new key. 5 stars. This was night manager . Tall fella dark hair. All key places were closed. 5 stars.Eazy place to shop.

The hoops you have to jump through to use the updated app are almost not worth the hassle. Why not just give the lower price without having to use the app? Would shorten my shopping trip by 10 minutes.

Your food is way too spendy for your carts to look like this, Safeway. Showed this nasty cart to an employee at the self-checkout as I was leaving and he basically shrugged and informed me they stopped sanitizing carts July 1st. 😶 So I guess the pandemics over and Safeways giving us the green light to cart our groceries around in rolling dumpsters. Imagine sitting a kid down in that petri dish of bacteria. Safeway? Not really.

Nice selection of vegan cheeses and vegan meat substitutes. Even gluten free vegan! Nice avocados at a great price. Coffee shop has good selection of plant based milks.Really great to find such selection this far outside of Portland. My experience in neighboring towns has been disappointing.Oh! And whole reason was there was for vaccine. Pharmacy delivers better than most in the state. Very professional pharmaceutical staff.

Great produce, lots of varieties of foodstuff. The lines were short, the checkers friendly and helpful. The place was really well stoked, neat, and clean

HATE self checkouts! And yet I use them because the lines are LONG for the 1 or 2 cashiers on duty. Im NOT paid to do my own groceries!

Love the store and employees, but 99% of their prices are higher than I can find elsewhere, locally.And often, the prices are LOTS higher.

Really great coupons Most others rely on low prices all the time but the deals here are better for the most part. The only complaint is the selection isnt as big as some of the larger stores in the area. It has really good selection irregardless, they have items I couldnt find when I tried another bigger store that only got sold at select stores.

Safeway is my first choice for shopping groceries. Fresh produce, good butchers and quality meats, great selection and prices. I have only one suggestion: clean your restrooms up!

I like Safeway but its expensive. Cakes from bakery were really good. Ballon tower we got for sons graduation was nice. The associates were awesome. Very accommodating and friendly. They added balloons to it which was nice because 3 to 4 balloons popped before we even got home. And we have a van with plenty of room. So that was frustrating but thats not the stores fault. We only go here for $5 Fridays and specials otherwise its too expensive for our family of 5. If it wasnt so expensive Id give it 5 stars.

Not only have they messed up my prescriptions, a couple of the employees in their pharmacy are extremely rude.I would think with their prices as high as they are they could hire more checkers. Every time I’ve been there they’ve never had enough people. I hate being forced to use the self check, but even those lines are ridiculously long.

The early morning Staff (6am) is rude. I hate going there this early but its necessary

Pretty decent Safeway. We went for a ice cream cake and it did not disappoint. Also grabbed a grilled salmon sushi roll from the deli before leaveing that was pretty good as well.

Shop here very often. Last Friday went in to order my daughters birthday cupcake cake. A very nice lady took my order wrote it all down and told me I could pick up on sunday as requested. I told her my sister would pick it up and she wrote down her name as well. On sunday my sister went in to get it and the lady was extremely rude. She told my sister they didnt have the cake and that I didnt order it Friday as there was no one there friday that I must have ordered it in corvallis... There was atleast 3 people in the bakery when I ordered her cake why would i order from another town and not remember? I was in tears how can they not have her cake it was a minnie mouse cupcake cake it ruined her entire theme the only cupcakes they had were brown white and orange ones. Her first birthday party because of covid and this happened. Thats an important part of a birthday the cake so so disappointed in the worker that was so rude didnt even offer another option.

I really like the layout and wider aisles at the Safeway. It was quick in and out today with enough checkers and quick, correctly working self-check kiosks as well. Located in the heart of Albany, easy to get to and lots of parking.

Had not been into this location for awhile. Glad I went because I found a certain type of hard-to-find produce Id been looking for (sunchokes). The meat department also had the scallops I needed.

Jarod from Safeway makes the BEST ribs. Love their deli and sushi selection. I always think of Safeway when Im thinking Chinese food because its quick easy and consistent in quality

Ive always really liked this store. Some things are a tad more expensive than other stores, but the meat department is stellar and the available selection of spices and sauces is top notch. The Chinese food in the deli is also excellent, and the bread selection is vast.

Super helpful meat man! Checker super friendly. Only thing we bought a bag of fresh vegetables from produce, got it home, it was bad.

The people that shop here dont adhere to the 6 spacing. Masking isnt enforced, and I dont see anyone cleaning things because they are understaffed like everyone else.

This Safeway has always been my favorite to shop at. Its never super busy and I always find the quality produce I need. Cashiers here are very nice and quick when youre in a rush.

Went for a bottle of vanilla coke they had none . They had it in cans though. Place was not busy . Cashier was nice .

Annoying that their buy 2 get 2 for soda is still more expensive than if you go to Walmart and just buy 4. But, thats safeway.....

I had a fantastic checker! And a fabulous person bagging my groceries. I have disabilities so when I was asked if I wanted help out, I *almost* took them up on it. And I felt that I would have been respected. There was only one thing I could not find (white pepper) and I was feeling yucky by then so perhaps if I had looked more I could have found it? Although I looked quite a bit, heh. But that is pretty specific and I dont blame them for not having that. It was a good experience and they had the pico de gallo and chopped onions, so I was SO PLEASED! All in all it was a GREAT experience! And the fact they sanitize their carts and have different exits and entrances for folks is freaking GREAT! THANK YOU! And thank you for requiring masks! I dont want to get sick and dont want to get anyone else sick! I would do Instacart more often except I cant use my Safeway card for their specials. >.< Both of those companies need to figure THAT out! :/

Had second shingles shot today. Waiting area wasnt clean, boxes stacked in actual shot room with dirty floor and side table unclean. No hand sanitizer or wipes available in waiting room? Sharps container right next to chair while getting shot. Disappointing. Arent we still being covid safe?

They are following social distancing guidelines and only allowing 418 in the store. They usually have everything Im looking for at good prices if you have a membership. Staff is always polite and courteous! Great produce section.

Update:Rudeness customer service I’ve ever had! Got mad at me for her mess up (miss rung an item) and then just dropped my stuff on the counter. Didn’t count money back or anything. Will tell others not to go here and won’t be back myself. So sad. Use to be a good store.Double check bakery items! Picked a dozen doughnuts today and over half had mold on the bottom in the dough! I’ve been sick (ate 1 and then noticed when handing another out) All I got when I went back was sorry and my money back. I only hope others noticed before eating them!!

I like to shop sales at Safeway, and buy Gatorade. The sales are usually pretty good, but outside of the sales they are usually pretty expensive. They carry my favorite flavor of Gatorade. Its the only store in town that I have found that carries it.

What can I say, instacart pays me to shop so this place is wonderful !! They have pretty much anything you need.

Went for cereal and fruit. Honey Bunches of Oats were 3 for $ 5 with card for a savings of $8.98. Went back the next day for more.

Terrible experience standing in line to self check my self out with one item for 20 minutes. Only 3 check stands out of 8 are ever being used! Even during peak rush hours! Remove the other 5 and install more self check out stands! Pathetic one star! If 0 stars was available you would get 0!

Went in for pillsbury Hot Roll Mix. Safe ways doesnt carry it. And not Freddies. Ended up at winco. $2.09 a box makes 12 rolls

Theyre alright; they have very good produce there, especially in summertime. That parking lot there drives me nuts though; my pick-up has been smacked into twice.
