Firstly let me begin by saying I love this diner and contrary to my negative experience yesterday, I will surely return. Regardless, last night I ordered the Yankee Pot Roast and was given five thin slices of roast beef covered in gravy. Pretty tasty, I ate it without complaint, but this Yankee knows pot roast, and this definitely was not...maybe Ill stick to the Greek Salad next time.

The first thing I couldnt help but notice was this smell when I entered the building. I should have turned around then but we stayed. Had a little crowd but was very short staffed based on what the server said. The server was ok. Not good but not awful. Ordered liver and onions with a salad, mash potatoes and kale. The only decent thing was the kale and onions on the top of the liver. The liver was tough and flavorless. Ranch dressing tasted like tartar sauce, mash potatoes was instant. I eat instant potatoes but this was just not good. My mom had home fries no seasoning nothing potatoes still somewhat hard.She did take the food off my bill. THANK YOU. Would not recommend this place to anyone at all. If I could give it no stars I would. Dont waste your money here.

Weve been there for breakfast, and their omelets are wonderful.This time we were there for dinner. The Senior dinners are a good selection with a drink, plus soup or side salad or vegetable or side dish plus a dessert with the entree.The Italian Wedding Soup was obviously homemade, but made very spicy with the use of chorizo instead of meatballs. The mushroom soup was rich and flavorful. The broiled haddock was tender and juicy. The server warmed the bread pudding in the microwave at request, which made it taste fresh. Both it and the ice cream had small squirts of whipped cream. The decaf coffee was as strong as the regular coffee usually is.

A little slow the service but very good and especially the food

First time here and it seemed as though this is the place to be for a good meal. Upon entering, you are greeted and the atmosphere is pleasant. It was pretty crowded in my eyes because most of the booths were filled. What was ordered: corned beef hash 2x, scrambled eggs 2x, wheat toast 2x, pork bacon, turkey sausage, and grits 2x. Oh yea, 4 medium orange juice. The food was good, but the food got cold pretty quickly because it was so cold in the restaurant itself. Checking out was fast and easy. I noticed that there is a private area that could be rented out and it holds up to 65 people. That was a plus for me. I would revisit this spot in the future.

I love love love their corned beef with eggs and home fries. Hands down.

The food was hot. The server was attentive and came around with the coffee pot.

This place was banging ! After working a 16 hour workday hand cementing pipes in Albany I came here and destroyed my plates! My waitress she was very friendly, sat down spoke w me and made sure I had everything I needed!

Stopped here on a road trip for a quick bite with a group of friends. Everything was perfect except my steak came out cold. The waiter quickly rectified it and it was delicious. Definitely would stop in again!

Went with the family. They enjoyed their meal.the omelets were good but Iwouldnt recommend the home fries. The kids sized pancakes were huge and good. French toast was a food portion but I wouldnt try again. Waitress was nice and accommodating. Service was good.

Seriously if you havent been to this place lately you really need to. I remember this place from a long time ago. Just happened to be at the DMV next door so we decided to stop and I am glad we did. Totally redone inside. Extremely clean! And the staff was the bomb diggity! Our food was good but the whole meal was made by the amazing desserts that they have! And again I do have to give a shout out to the staff that was there as they really were very entertaining to me and my husband. Definitely going back again!

The service was ok. It was fairly empty when we arrived, we were seated quickly. I asked to move to a booth seat and appreciated the accommodation. They don’t do substitutions but the menu is pretty vast so finding something to eat isn’t an issue here.The diner was clean but a lot of it is outdated. I love diners though so I didn’t really mind.While I wouldn’t eat here again, the food is decent, the staff is friendly and I didn’t have to wait to eat.We ordered: Grits with Cheese, Spinach omelette with white toast, French toast with Canadian Bacon and a Lemonade.

Sorry! I hate to give a bad review but this on deserves it for service. The waitress brought over a plate with something on it and wiped it off with her bare hands and said let’s get that off and handed it to my son. He handed it back. She also brought over turkey gravey with eggshells in the dish. No bueno !!!!! We will not return there 😩 the last 2 trips to this diner were awesome! This time not so much

Old style Greek diner. Beautiful place. Incredible number of menu items. Gigantic portions. Amazing array of desserts in display cases. The staff is top-notch. They know what theyre doing!

Friendly service and large portions. Typical diner menu but excellent food. Two of us spent less than $20 for a filling and enjoyable breakfast.

Had a grilled panini chicken teriyaki with sauteed onions with teriyaki sauce and with melted cheese inside the french fries were out of this world I didnt have to put any salt on or ketchup. The water was fresh and refreshing on the side and the coffee OMG to die for even decaf. The waitress very pleasant and professional thank you gateway for making us a wonderful Lunch

Arived shortly after 7. I ordered a meal that should have included soup or salad. And a few other items that never came. People who came in after me got their soup. I eventually got the server and asked about getting it to find out kitchen already closed and i couldnt get the rest of my meal i ordered an hour before. Kitchen closes around 8pm because by 8:25 they couldnt serve soup. My son also didnt get any of his sides or desert that was suppose to be imcluded. Felt like i was being rushed out the door for ariving around 7pm.

Very small portionis and food not cooked well definitely not worth the high price even dennys or any other diner is better than this one. total rip off.

Corned beef hash, mushroom &cheese (feta) omelettes, home fries and grits all made an amazing breakfast for us this morning. Friendly, fast and attentive service rounded off the visit nicely.

Basic diner food my sandwich was cold looked almost raw had to send back. It came back missing my coleslaw and fries. Waitress brought them out after noticing her mistake.

Food wasnt bad, typical diner food. The service could have been better. Just had a minor problem with a special request and the manager wouldve rather been on her phone then care for the customers.

Long time customer. Went in for Breakfast/Lunch with my 8 yr old son on 5/17/21. Horrible service and Management is at fault here. Noticed other waitresses giving new waitress dirty looks and whispering to each other under there breath. Oh you know, typical high school adolescents drama in a place of business. New waitress seemed nervous. Had to repeat our order several times and noticed she kept giving tables wrong orders. She just needed HELP or BETTER TRAINING. After 40 minutes, I figured I was getting fresh roasted lamb from a rotating spit for my gyro order, but unfortunately that was never the case. The place was not busy. Manager never stepped up to help, explain, or apologize. Waited an hour for food that never came. Never Again.

Ordered two eggs over hard, home fries, toast and bacon. Perfectly cooked. Bacon thin and crispy, potatoes hot and eggs cooked exactly as ordered. Ellen the waitress was friendly and charming. Definitely recommend.

First time stopping here for an early morning breakfast with my 90 year old dad- very clean (restrooms too) pleasant waitress and great food! Would recommend!!! Easy access from Central Ave, ample parking and easy entry to building!

Decent food and prices. Very fast service.Not a fan that they let a dog in to eat with a customer. Blocked people from walking thru and the busser from getting his cart thru.The hostess pet him a didnt wash hands after. Thankfully she want serving food.

Came in thanksgiving morning, it was steady but not busy. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quick. I’m giving this a 4 star because I ordered eggs over medium but they came out over easy. I would still recommend.

Super friendly and quick service. The fried cheese sticks were great (but when isn’t fried stuff great?), the dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves) were pretty good, although not the most flavorful I have had. The Greek salad was good. The spanakopita was some of the worst I have had: soggy and flavorless. The men’s restroom is under construction and not usable, but you can knock and use the Women’s which was well done.

Coolest decor anywhere. Food was very good. Well go again for sure.

Absolutely great food, and even though our waitress was training a couple of other new waitresses the service was fantastic. We actually had headed to a different place to eat but it was closed and we happened upon this place on Google. Glad we did.

Its a fine diner. The homemade corned beef hash was really good, the pasta and other breakfast foods were as to be expected. Waiter was quite pleasent, though a lot of food/drinks got spilled.

Wait staff attentive and friendly. House coffee was flavorful and not bitter. Food arrived hot and just as ordered.

Never order delivery from this place. This resteraunt will forget. Even if you pre -order hours in advance they will mess up. This place will never get my business again.

Food unappetizing. Server refilled drinks mixed up everyones glasses instead of new glasses. I dont like ice tea mixed with diet pepsi or drinking out of other peoples glasses. There is a pandemic going on you know.

It was okay. I didnt see anything special about the food. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon. You could tell the staff were rushed and in a hurry.

The food was delicious. I got the homemade hash which is much better than the canned hash. The overeasy eggs were just right. The home fries were cooked the way I like them. The meal came with 4 slices of bacon that was good. The hot chocolate was chocolatey unlike some places. However, there was a small piece of tin foil in it. Our waitress was nice.

They cut back on the sausage biscuit and gravy only one biscuit and they used to give you a sausage link as well

Coffee is good, which is important to me. I thought I would try their signature hash dish, mistake ... should have stuck with what I know. Although , the good thing is they serve breakfast anytime. Service was fair. A seasoned waitress should know that statistically long haired women tip much better. I dont know why that is, youll have to ask those statistic people. Most important they adhere to covid-19 guidelines.

On March 19,2021 11:15 am. The waitress had the poorest customer service.A nasty attitude to go with it too!She did not listen to me when I requested to go flatware and containers.She then got upset with me when I requested to have my food in to go boxes again!We hadn’t even ordered a meal at this point. We were trying. Her irritability made placing an order disgusting.She couldn’t get the drinks right.It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. Worst!We walked out of there not even 10 minutes later. I would never spend a dime in that place!I do not recommend you eat there.Go anywhere else but there trust me.I went down the way to Shoprite and got 10x better service there at a supermarket eatery.

Not very Greek, very slow service, tiny portions, and overpriced. If I wanted bland food without any seasoning or flavor, Id ask my four year old to cook at home. The coffee is good and the decor is modern. Servers are nice.

Have not been there in years. Great food. Good pricing. Staff is fantastic. Even through these times, cant get any better than this place. Will definitely be going back, not waiting as long this time.

Our waitress Felicity. Is a top notch waitress. Friendly warm smile and courteous. The bathroom was spotless. Soap and hot water available by bathroom sink. Toilet paper clean and full. Air dryer for hands. The be food is always high quality great dishes and many choices. Parking lot is convenient also.
