Great country style food cooking. Sweet tea and sodas. If you are a Mayberry Fan you will love the decor. TVs with all the old shows on it. Lots of pictures. Very friendly staff and the food was awesome.

For people who need to watch their fat and salt content, this is a good restaurant choice. Food is tasty. Salt in the table for those who need more. Atmosphere is charming with a Andy Griffith/Mayberry theme. Cost is reasonable.

Had some wonderful home cooking at the Mayberry Diner. They offer a simple limited menu of home cooking like grandma. They are closed on Saturday, but were packed for Sunday dinner. They close at 2pm on Sunday.

Very good place to have a great meal cooked by the owners. The food is great, cooked Properly and not dried out, undercooked, and ALWAYS prepared to order.Hostess will Seat you and the staff is always there to help you get what you need. The lunch hour is very crowded so come Early.

My first dining experience here at the Mayberry was a little uncomfortable. I wanted old country cooking, So I decided to try out this restaurant. As the name it is the Mayberry. I didnt over hear the comment, but I did see as well as felt the 👀 eyes. My mom over heard the waitress and two customers as they were loud enough make racial comments. That was very very unpleasing. Our experience turned very sour. The food was ok. I will say I will NEVER go back. It is not designed for Black Americans. My review need to be known and not ignored. We sensed negativity... The food was not bad.. I will give 4 stars for that, but the service was fake and unacceptable for me and they will not have to worry about me coming back..

One of the best places to eat in Albany Ga. My have the very best people who work there. Gail and her crew are number 1 for us.

I had the chance to sample their menu and I felt like I was going to Granny’s house. Really good entrees and the dessert is awesome. Quiet, friendly service that makes you feel like Barney would come by for lunch with Thelma Lou.

Staff is always pleasant, service is prompt and efficient. Quality of your meal depends somewhat on your timing. If you arrive during main lunch hours (say 11:30-1:00 pm), meal will be hot and fresh. I came several times around 1:30 PM and received unappetizing, warmed-over food (even the vegetables were cold).

Everything was very underwhelming. Food was mediocre. Squash casserole was bland and fried green tomatoes were soggy. Waitress did not ask if we wanted a refill and charged us for it anyway. She never mentioned her name or asked how the food was.

Fried grouper sandwich is my new go to!

Some food is cooked on site like advertised, some looks and tastes of prefrozen and prepackaged. Our server did not deliver our food as we ordered it. It was very disappointing all the way around.

Food was ok but service was surprisingly very slow and they are a bit overpriced for what you get (or dont get).

The food was very disappointing and the amount of food was small like kid meals and the kids meals was even smaller then that. Sweet staff but I cant say Ill ever come back again or recommend this place to anyone

Mayberry Diner is usually always good, but some of the food was cold today. Maybe it was just an off day

Very rude and made me feel as though blacks are only welcomed in the kitchen. The waitess/manager rolled her eyes when you asked her something and very nasty smart mouth mannerisms. The feel of being unwelcomed is inside a Paula Deen story. SAD.
