Purchasing my new car went smooth until the manager told me that the warranty for the electronics is only 3 years which helped convince me to get an extended warranty (which I never did before). Once I got home and thought about how it didn’t make sense that a 5 year bumper to bumper didn’t cover the electronics. I called back and was still told by that manager that the electronics were only covered for 3 years. It’s only when I called Hyundai corporate did I receive the correct information which is that the electronics ARE covered under the 5 year 60k miles (except for the battery). I called Lia back and they said that they were always under the impression that it was 3 years and they would refund me the cost but it will take time. So either they don’t know their own products warranty or they just lied. I just want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else and hopefully I’ll get my money back.

I agree with the posts I read about disgruntled/angry employees and management.Sales, service, and management are all in need of professional development as well as anger management.They have no problem losing customers. The owners should be concerned…My vehicle was recalled due to battery issues. Hyundai reimbursement was 100%, state taxes refunded 100%, Lia refuses to refund my extended warranties. Finance manager and general manager will not respond to any of my contacts post vehicle surrender.If not for this dealership, I’d be sitting in another Hyundai.

Brian Secord and Hyundai are amazing! We live over an hour away and they allowed us to bring our car in early since we needed to be out that way for another appointment and leave it there and then they even worked on it earlier , getting out transportation back to us asap. Always friendly and take care of the customer! Will stay loyal to them even if its far from home !!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership and purchasing a new car. Purchased a brand new Palisade at the beginning of June 2021 and didn’t receive my registration or plates for my vehicle until mid September. Temp plates expired 7/12/2021 and they told me to just keep driving the vehicle. I had to cancel my vacation because I wasn’t going to drive through multiple states with no valid plates or reg. When I told Haris this did they do anything. NOPE. They use a third party to process everything and blame them for the slow process and everything else for that matter. I spoke with multiple people at this dealership inquiring about updates on my registration and plates and they all promised to do something about it but never did and never called me back. I always had to initiate a follow up to see what the status of my vehicle was they never reached out to me first. This place and the people here are literally a joke. Worst experience ever!!!!! Save yourself the headache and joke and don’t ever go here.

I’m not sure how one can just price gouge people however he sees fit. What is a “market adjustment” fee, I asked? Answer was essentially since the vehicle is in high demand, we’re going to screw you. This has nothing to do with supply and demand just in case you wonder. Someone tried to get smart and use gas station examples. But he was technically lying if one had the time to dig a little deeper into his example. I’m not buying from them, but I just wanted to leave my two cents about my short experience. They use of words like “market adjustment”, which technically mean nothing! Example, a vehicle listed at MSRP of $37,900, ends up costing you $45,000. Keep in mind, you haven’t even began FINANCING TALKS or TAXES. This is nearly a 20% increase on top of the already marked up price from the manufacturer. Then you’re going to turn around and finance it at whatever interest rate they think you’re worth! Do your homework before buying boys and girls. But most of all, it is really a shame that these dealerships can do this mercilessly… pathetic!

If I could give zero stars I would. Buy a car from Lia Hyundai? Sure! Great experience! Service a car at Lia Hyundai? Never again! I pulled in for my 8:45 appointment at 8:40. Service rep said he’d have me out in an hour. Over 2 hours later I had to approach the guy saying my keys had been on his desk for over a half hour and he got frustrated with me! Yeah, awful customer service!

Car in for 15,000 mile service. Greeted by Tim. Excellent communication and service. Car service done in 1/2 the expected time and washed nicely. Tim personally showed and directed me where to find a nearby food/place to eat.. Estimated cost of services was exact including tax and alignment with service.

My boyfriend just tried calling asking for a USED vehicle and the sales person says sorry we don’t really say anything but Hyundai’s doesn’t take down any info so we say alright I’ll go somewhere else, never heard of a dealership where they don’t sell used vehicles. Salesman didn’t take down ANY info to even attempt to follow up, even though he mentioned he bought his used impala there didn’t take down his name or anything lol sounded like he didn’t even want a sale.

I had a very positive experience when I recently purchased (leased) my new 2021 Tucson. I went in to trade in my 2016 Tucson and hopefully lower my monthly payments at the same time. I worked with Daniel and he was awesome! He worked his magic and helped me get into a brand new 2021 Tucson and with lower payments than I was paying for my 2016.Daniel explained the way leasing a vehicle would be a good fit for me due to my low mileage record. After listening to Daniel and weighing my options I decided to Lease instead of buying as it did make more sense.I left a very happy person with my new 2021 Tucson with a lower monthly payment than I was paying for my 2016. And I couldnt believe the price 39 dollar for a oil change on a 8 cylinder..when all these jiffys wanted double...plus they checked out my car for issues while I was there and I got a free car wash. My daughter brought her car here to get a recall done and was offered to get the alignment checked for free. What no one mentioned to her was if it found to be dangerous or out of spec that they have to change it, nor did they mention how much that would cost her. She was not prepared to spend an extra $150 for that alignment and felt like she was taken advantage of for not having known about these things.I understand that there are safety issues that cant get left alone once spotted, but not mentioning to her about the need to repair and how much it would cost her is a scam. Please avoid doing this to customers that put their cars and trust in your hands, especially when theyre just kids. We wont be coming here again.

Worst dealership ever! Almost 3 months with a new Palisade and still don’t have plates yet. They use this third party vehicle registration company that is incompetent. And when you combine that with the incompetence and lack of communication of Lia Hyundai you have yourself the biggest cluster f$&k ever. I highly do not recommend buying a car here. No one should have to chase a dealer down after spending over 50k. From the GM down, they are the worst!

I had a great experience with Lia Hyundai Albany purchasing a Hyundai Palisade. I called and spoke with Michael DiCocco about a vehicle I was interested in buying. Michael was able to locate the Moonlight Cloud with beige interior that I wanted. We completed most of the deal over the phone. I gave a deposit and Michael had the car a few days later. He was excellent and very helpful. We drove to Albany in a rental car and a nice gentleman from Lia picked us up at Enterprise. After arriving at the dealership, James Sadlemire completed the sale. James did everything in a timely manner and it was the smoothest car buying experience I have ever had! I would definitely recommend Michael and James at Lia Hyundai. It was worth the 2 hour drive since my local dealership was unable to get me the car I wanted. Very happy with this experience and the Palisade is so nice!

I have worked with numerous dealers over numerous cars over many years. I cannot fathom the distance in my overall experience between Lia Hyundai and anyone else I ever dealt with. Buying the car was a great experience; we ended up getting EXACTLY the car we wanted with EXACTLY the options we wanted at a great no hassle price and incredibly personal service. We just had the first service appointment and that was equal to the buying experience.I am usually a hard judge for both the buying experience and the servicing but Lia is lights out on both. I would give that dealership more than 5 stars if I could!

My car was towed here almost a month ago i keep being told itll be dine by the end of the week. As i understand you guys are busy it doesnt take a month to fix my car. I have already begged them to have it done within the first three weeks it was there or Id lose my job. Shocker they didnt care 😐 i also have special needs children who obviously need to make there appointments. I have asked for a loaner and asked to speak to a manager not once or twice but 3 times and i left messages for a call back and of course no answer. Only reason Im giving them a 2 star is because they are replacing the engine for free which they wouldnt of had to if they installed it right the first time. Also brian has the worst anger issues i swear.

Had a firm idea as to wanting a SUV at a firm price (under $300/mo.lease) ). Salesman, Daniel Louer, immediately filled the bill with a Tucson at $249 down and $249/mo.. Great car at a great price, and no nonsense, as I had come to expect from car dealers in my 50 years of dealing with them. We had a deal in 1/2 hour and that included a test drive. My kind of dealer and salesman...No baloney....no dance....just an honest straight forward deal. Recommend you see Daniel at Lia Hyundai if you want a great car buying experience.

On 08/9/21 I contacted Lia thru internet sales and spoke with Lynn on a 2022 Tucson Limited. We made arrangements to look at the vehicle that afternoon. I arrived and Lynn introduced me to Jordan who was fantastic. She showed me many of the features of the vehicle, I told her to contact me when she had the right one in. On 8.10.21 I took my spouse back and showed them the vehicle. It had everything we wanted but we were going to wait a bit. After leaving the to do other shopping Lynn called and inquired if we were truly interested and if so we should stop back. When we arrived back Ralph Simeone took care of me. He was a true professional no sales pressure. We discussed price and trade in values. He came back with both excellent sales price and a great trade in price. A few moments of paperwork and I went and had aa late lunch. When I arrived back Ralph had all the paperwork completed and the vehicle was detailed. This was the far best purchase of a new car that I have ever had. Lia, should be proud of Ralph, Lynn and Jordan for making a customer fell good on a sale. Thank You

Ron Draves assisted me with service on my car yesterday and the work was completed in a timely fashion . In addition, my vehicle was returned with protective plastic on the steering wheel and the remotes were carefully placed in a plastic bag. Ron communicated well with me and was courteous and efficient throughout the process. Disinfecting and cleansing also took place regularly in the customer waiting area and I felt very safe there.

I went in to Lia to test drive a vehicle I was potentially interested in purchasing. This was the first time I was looking at a brand that wasnt a Toyota in 15 years and also looking at a car that wasnt just a base model. When I first went in Jordan Vanauken assisted me with getting a vehicle for me to test drive. He was super pleasant and not pushy at all. I stated I had an appointment at another dealership. I did not have the best experience at this other dealership. I loved the 2021 Hyundai Elantra when I test drove it and had such a pleasant experience that I returned on Wednesday to start the purchasing process. I worked with Michael Reaulo who was extremely helpful and kind. I arrived later in the evening on Wednesday so we didnt have time to finish all the paperwork so I said I could return the next day after work. Mike stated he would have everything ready to go for me. I decided to go during my lunch break and gave a call, Mike said he could get me in at 130 to meet with Jessica. When I arrived Mike got me right in and as I was signing paperwork, Mike got my license plates on the car and processed my payments. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and back to work all during my lunch break. It was one of the quickest and easiest car purchases Ive done so far. I never felt pressured and the interactions never felt like it was just a transaction. Everybody I dealt with was personable, especially Mike. I would definitely recommend Lia Hyundai!

Worst experience Ive ever had with a dealership. I left Honda after being a loyal customer for years, excited to try out the 2020 Hyundai Kona. I purchased the vehicle back in July of 2020 & have had nothing but problems with the vehicle. Whats worse than the vehicles issues is this dealership. I had the car towed multiple times, ran out of oil 4x in the matter or 8k miles, have stalled on the highway, and have had my engine completely shut off. This car has made me feel unsafe which I communicated with the dealership, and all they could do is put me on an oil consumption test. A month ago the car had an engine warning come on yet again, so I dropped it back off at Lia. I spoke with a service team member and he stated that the motor needed to be replaced at 8k miles. I then spoke with the general manager Chris, who laughed at me when I told him what I was told and said I was wrong, they were replacing a valve and putting it back on an oil consumption test. After all the back and forth with no real answer, I got into contact with Consumer Affairs to pursue filing the lemon law. During this time, Lia Hyundai could not provide me with a loaner vehicle. I had to get into contact with management, leave work early yet again for this disaster of a car, get a rental from a different dealership, TAKE OFF MORE TIME FROM WORK to return that rental to finally get a loaner out of Lia, and they continue to bill me for a car I have not had. I just spoke with my Lemon Law representative out of consumer affairs - he is the one who told me that this engine is now on back order... not even the dealership told me! I was told the latest Id have my car back is the second week of April. Avoid this dealership at all costs, my biggest regret was coming here. The lack of service, communication, and productivity here is disgusting.

It was said to us let me see where the flyer said that and a bunch of double talk We walked out.That particular manager on that day, not only caused them a deal, but we will find a different dealership after leasing 3 cars there.

I went to Lia Hyundai to test drive a Hyundai Kona. After driving, I asked the salesman, Jim, if I could put a hold deposit on the car while sorting out financing with my bank. He confirmed and we did a $500 hold deposit. I decided the next day not to go through with the car. My husband and I have called at least five times in the past three weeks and have gotten nowhere with getting this refund. At this rate, I am going to have to dispute it with my credit card company. They have taken my credit card information multiple times and still no refund. This has definitely ruined any likelihood that I would return to this dealership. Please issue my refund so I can be done with this. My husband also had a very unpleasant call with one employee, Lynne. She was incredibly rude to him.EDITED TO ADD: The dealership has finally refunded me (all it took was leaving this review apparently), but only after the general manager felt the need to threaten us with corporate attorneys. Not sure why that was needed given all we were asking for was a refund we shouldve gotten three weeks ago. Glad to be done dealing with this dealership.

Two bad experience1. On their website they says, they can compare price from other dealer since I visited this place earlier I thought if they are comparing price I should continue with them. I called them they said ok they can compare price when visited dealership they refused to compare. If they can not compare they should remove from website or at least should have declined when i called.I showed them price from nearby dealership.2. They recommended transmission services for my issue, after service It worsen the issue.. I called them and they said they can take look for no cost.. i visited and then They asked me to pay for 135$ to take a look where I already spent 259$ on their recommendation that should resolve the problem. Basically they asking to pay more and more every time I visit.Also, from last visit they told me its 65$ for diagnosis services when brought that up one guy said it could be between 65-135$ and other guy said no its 135$. So both were talking differently that was so frustrating.I also understand recommendation does not mean it will fix issue but when person is spending lot of money they should advice and behave in professional mannerBe aware. They are not professional at all. I had better experience with local garage dealer then this place.After this bad review, manager called me and told me they can look again for free and at appointment their obvious answer was i need to change transmission and they estimated around 2200$. I went to local auto transmission repair shop they found something wrong with torque clutch converter and they fixed it. So I still wonder why this dealership said transmission needs to be replaced. Also, axle was leaking and after going to this place for 2-3 times for different services they never observed axle is leaking which Midas and Fucillo hyundai told me at first visit. Very bad experience with this place.

The service department was slow today. It took 2 hrs and 15 mins for an oil change, inspection, and tire rotation. Never came out to inform me of other work needing to be done so not sure what took so long.

Great experience from beginning to end purchasing my Hyundai Palisade. Ralph Simeone was a very attentive and not pushy salesman. I’ve dealt with those, which made me want to walk away before discussing any figures. Ralph was accommodating setting up my test drive appointment, picking the exterior interior car I asked for, and during sales discussions. I shopped around a great amount and know I received a very fair deal (sale price, trade in, rebate). I would do business with Lia Hyundai again and definitely with Ralph. I usually dont care for dealership service due to sales pressure. I dont have to worry about that at Lia. A nice change of pace.
