I went to go pick up my truck that was illegally towed amd when I get there they threw tires all over my vehicle and around it. I have tire rub marks on my white truck, very upset and then they wanted me to sign the paper that said there was no damage done to ny vehicle and I said no and asked them to move the tires so I could get my truck out I was cursed at and screamed at and then the guy quit and Locked me inside the tow yard , I had to call the police to come let me out, tried to charge me double the price on the receipt I said no way ! Not only did my truck have damages on it but Im missing 2 tools off my front seat, when I got to the tow yard my vehicle was unlocked. No reason it should be open I locked when I parked it. Terrible business absolutely horrible. Oh and they only accept Cash lol no credit cards cash business eh ? Sounds real legit to me...

Theres a lot of people that I owe gratitude back in the old days a lot of them taught me about Osborne Street theyre good people theyre not Short change the different straight answers many of the people the older folks that are no longer with me talk to me about Osborne theres people Ive known on 2nd Ave all my life that are gone and theres a person I play football on 2nd Ave and Osborne when they give it to you straight versus the corporate always give them something $5 couple dollars cuz Ive been going to them all my life with people they always told me take it to Osborne dealerships I know youre trying to eat but Osborne will give it to me straight since day one back in a junkyard dog Days jyd of wrestling and for the people weve lost and ladies God bless Osborne its like the only memory of second Ave I have left

Having to call for a tow is never enjoyable. The Osbourne Street Garage was recommended to me so I called and spoke with Joe. He was the exact opposite of what I anticipated. He listened to my dilemma of being stuck in a parking garage which made the recovery much more difficult. He met me when he said he would. He then helped me coast it out of the garage to avoid the additional charge of using dollies.Joe is the finest independent businessman you can find. I only met him once and will say honestly that he is one of those genuine folks who take pride in what he does.

I would trust these guys with my life I would trust these guys with the car these guys are great they help me with tire theyre not there for your money some of the people I grew up around theyre very trustworthy they dont BSU I play football with one of them theyre honest people these guys arent trying to just take your money theyre trying to help you every now and then I think people should drop a $5 on them $4 on them $2 on them $3 on them $1 they are worth what people give them credit for I think I might have went to school with one of them cant remember but I know I see them hes good people real people theyre never there to try to take your money it will help you the best knowledge they can I went to school around the business I walked around these are great people I may have went to school with certain people too but these are the kind of people I want as best friends I might even swim with them and Lincoln pool or see them these are great people if my book if I was rich I tipped them big great people theyre still here 30 years later back when the word junkyard dog was the band on wrestling God bless this business may people help this business done a struggle times help you fix your help you with problems on car especially tires everyone needs some they are not trying to rip you off straight answers straight up A+ of my book

During inclement weather They do not do a great job in cleaning up. Vehicle got suck multiple times trying to leave lot. Before arriving called to see if tires were available. I was told by staff to come and when I get there No tires are in stock for my vehicle. However, staff was polite and courteous Been going there on / off for years

There were always professional to me they treated me with respect they always kept me entertained the guys are really good guys there if Joe ever lost any of the guys that would be sad they always accommodated me the price is not expensive reasonable I give them four stars I mean theyve never disrespected me at all they were always honest with me they told me what my car needed what it didnt needed never had a problem with them Ill always use them as long as they stay open

I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due. and i am happy to say that Osborne Garage showed up in a timely fashion , the driver Adam was extremely professional. he mad sure that the vehicle was loaded properly, and was also very conscientious about making sure no damage was caused by towing. My car wouldnt start in an downtown Albany garage. The first place I called wouldnt even come saying they couldnt get into the low-ceilinged garage. Osborne came and the technician walked a portable charger to my car. Turns out it wasnt the battery, but the kind gentleman got my car moving so I could get home on a freezing night. Im not going to start calling the dispatcher for his sparkling personality, but he got a service guy to me and wasnt rude - what more could I ask for? I am very grateful to the road service guy and Joes Osborne Street Garage.

Terrible. My car was towed and under a hold out of my control. They told me I would not have to pay for storage because of this hold. A few days later I get a letter in the mail saying I owe an outrageous amount. They were charging me for storage anyway. This is the kicker, they even added an extra 100$ to the original total for something they never specified when I asked them. They are rude and frustrating. They even sent an extra tow truck unnecessarily and refused to tell me why it was needed or how it helped because it didnt. They will rip you off at any turn and corner. Vile, untrustworthy, terrible, and scheming business. They tell you one thing one day and another the next. I have no choice but to take this situation up in a court of law.It may be safe to say that they are guilty of illegal activity and they need to be shut down.

The worst towing company that you could possibly encounter, I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. They’re Rude and completely unprofessional. I was trying to read over the agreement I was about to sign and the guy at the front desk with the awkwardly long hair and weird teeth kept pulling it away saying I “wasn’t signing” so I barely got to read it because I was rushed. They took everything as a joke and thought the situation of them taking my car from the place I live at 7 am was funny. There’s also damage to my vehicle so if you encounter them hopefully it’s more pleasant than what I went through, I doubt it though.

I had three experiences with Osborne Street Garage. On every single occasion they were rude, untimely and inconsistent with pricing. Their pricing varied between $100 and $300 multiple times in the same conversation for the same service? Very questionable actions.

Not even one star. I showed up as soon as ‘JG’ was beginning to tow my car, it wasn’t even on the lift. He was extremely aggressive and very rude as soon as I arrived. I apologized for the inconvenience, then asked him to remove the winch from my car and he immediately said “that’ll be 40 bucks then, go get the money now if you don’t have it.” I then told him that I would not be paying him because according to NYS law it is unlawful for a towing company operated to tow a vehicle if the owner or operate of the vehicle appears at the scene. It is also unlawful to charge for the release of your vehicle (Unless you called for the towing service yourself and then end up canceling it after they show up, the towing company can then charge no more than $20).After explaining this to him, he aggressively responded by saying that statute didn’t apply in the city of Albany, which I knew wasn’t true, so i told him. He got more frustrated with me and began asking me “what I was gonna do about it?” Which is extremely threatening. Apparently, these tow drivers are taught to use their physical size and verbal aggression to scare women into paying them. What was he going to do? actually just steal my car with me in it?Scared he was actually going to try to tow my car anyways if I walked to an ATM - I had to call a friend to bring me the money. While I waited near my car, I was verbally harassed and asked if I was taking care of it multiple times. I paid him, then he laughed and said “take me to small claims court!” - Which I plan on doing, because this company appears to have a long history of appalling customer relations.

Requested a tow from Western Ave. to Latham NY at approx. 7pm on a Monday evening. They were efficient, prompt and professional and kept in contact with me via cell phone throughout the transaction while I was waiting for the tow truck. Thank you.

I HATE THIS Experience! I was so afraid that my car was stolen and I was going to put someone in jail. But it was towed by people who were experienced in Auto Tow. This garage is disgraceful. My car was towed on a Saturday night at approximately 1:45 AM by this garage. I went directly to the garage upon learning about my tow and arrived at around 4:00 AM. I was told I would have to pay $140 for the tow. I asked to see a paper copy of the bill for what I was being charged and the employee refused. He told me I would not get to see paperwork until after my payment, which would completely ruin the reason I wanted to see the paperwork in the first place. I told him I would not be paying without seeing the bill and asked to speak to the owner. I was told the owner would be in the office the following Monday. I was never told what time my car was towed and was not informed of any storage fees, because I was not given any paperwork.The next day, a friend of mine did some research on the garage and noticed they would be charging a $35 storage fee for every 24 hours that I didnt pay and retrieve my car. I went back to the garage and dealt with the same guy once again. However, this time he gave me the bill but wouldnt waive the storage fee. I think it was only fair to waive the storage fee since I was there the previous night ready to pay but was not able to because I was not shown the bill. However, I was told that the owner would be at the garage the next day and I could speak to him then.I went back to the garage on Monday to speak to the owner. When I arrived, I was told that the owner does not speak to any customers and my bill was final. I became aggravated as I being charged for storage when I had been there to pay that night because there was no bill and I was told I could speak to the owner, however, the owner would not speak to me. The office manager began cursing at my friend and I telling us to Get the F**k out of her office. They slammed the door shut on us. The employees were inconsiderate, rude, disrespectful and seemingly hated their jobs. They showed no professionalism towards their customers and made the experience very unpleasant. This garage is definitely sneaky in their business practices and will try to rip people off for every last penny.The issue was finally resolved when I spoke with the one respectful employee at the shop. The man who sat at the desk who aided me in paying and getting out of there. When I got back to my car, there were three water bottles stuck into the holes of the rims of my tires. The worker man said it was because me and my friends left our water bottles there when we got out of the car, which was untrue. The employees obviously had problems with me and wanted to do whatever they could to mess with me. I never want to deal with this sketchy business again, and no one else should either.

These people are predatory! Beware! The parking lot across from Capital Rep is a trap! It is not public parking as sign suggests.No one at the booth. Thought it was just open. Towed our vehicle, were there for less than hour. Albany should be ashamed! Will not be visiting again anytime soon.

They sold my car from under me, I had my 350.00 tow..when I called about my Mazda they up to 450.00. It was towed only four days there.

Ive shown them that I did in fact have the parking pass but they still charged and towed me both times. What a pathetic job to have. They were also very unprofessional telling me maybe my car wouldnt have gotten towed if I was a home owner.

The inappropriate actions and behaviors of this garage are almost laughable. Their dishonesty and name calling (??) are both baffling and deplorable. Unfortunately, if you have been towed, you cannot avoid dealing with them. But if you have a choice in who to use as a garage, do yourself a favor and find someone with some inkling of decency and professionalism. These guys are a nightmare.

(Beware) Dont ever park at the Dunkin Donuts on Lark Street in Albany not even for a minute. Osborne street garage towed me from Dunkin Donuts for no reason within minutes i was a customer I just walked on the side of the Dunkin Donuts building where my brother smoked a cigarette and drank my coffee and he towed my car in a matter of 3 minutes I guess its really not the towing guys fault. He actually turned out to be a decent guy after I explained everything to him in a nice way when everyone else behind me was threatening to stick him or beat him up. its Dunkin Donuts fault but what a way to treat a customer! Even after I contacted the district office and complained they said that parking is for customers only I showed them my receipt, I scanned it with my phone and then send it to them they still refused to give me my $160 back! I will never return or support Dunkin Donuts in any way again! No disrespect to Osborne street garage though theyre only doing their job.

Worst experience ever ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ The owners son attempted to tow my rental vehicle because my residential sticker was not on it even though I was a resident. I had to beg him not to tow it letting him no my vehicle and my vehicles sticker was at the shop. He let my car off the lift upon doing so he damaged my car. When I told him he stated its only plastic and I can bend it back it in my head Im thinking this looks like metal but ok so as hes placing his equipment back in his truck I thought he was going to come back over to me and push the piece in.. instead he jumps in his truck and speeds off ‼️‼️ I called the police and made a report, while doing so the officer asks for the guys name, I didnt have it so I called the number listed on google to speak with someone because they might know who was patrolling the area. Soon as the guy answers the phone I recognized his voice as the guy that was attempting to tow my vehicle but I still was acting like I was calling to ask for information. He starts lying saying none of our drivers towed a vehicle , none of our drivers are out ect and he said that hes not allowed to give out a name of the driver and all this other b.s but I knew for a fact it was him but I didnt want to argue so I acted like it wasnt him and he told me that I would have to take the company to small claims court and sue them ‼️‼️‼️ I also asked if they had insurance and he stated he couldnt give out that information , it wouldnt have been a big deal you pay insurance for these reasons but they rather go to court because they know nobody will follow through but I AM ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ALSO I ASKED WHEN COULD I SPEAK WITH THE OWNER TO ONLY FIND OUT THE GUY IS THE OWNERS SON 😡

I bought tires fro this place. BOY DO I WISH I HADNT!!!!! First they had no space in garage to pull my car in so the guy says just stay in the car Ill do it right here. Mind you it was January and raining... So the guy doing my tires jacks up my car runs into the garage and repeats 3 more times and he is done I was thinking to myself wow that was fast he must be really cold... Feeling bad that his employer has him working like that in the freezing rain... then the next day I go to get into my car and I smell gas really bad so I go to pep boys on central ave and they say I have a gas leak... then they show me and as we are walking over to the car he asked me if I recently got a flat tire I said no I just got new tires put on yesterday and the guy says well that must be what happen whoever jacked up your car crushed the gas line and youre lucky they didnt crush the brake line running right next to it as well and then I look and my gas line is literally crushed and leaking because the guy was in such a hurry to get out of the rain and the weather that he did not place the jack in the right place under my car and cost me $465 to get it fixed because the man at Osborne Street Garage said they dont fix stuff like that and that they didnt do it and I didnt have a gas leak prior to going there and I never actually got out of my car other than to pay the man drove home parked my car and then got up to leave the next morning and smelt the gas
