Horrible, and dont complain cause you will hear things like were across from a college and there are 5 other stores you can go to like wow hire more people, learn to be efficient! The other stores Ive been in the bay area and never as bad as this one. A couple of weeks ago I went to get my girls some drinks and figured cant be busy at this time, but no! They shut down early and still had mobile orders open, and I know this because a woman came to pick up her drink and the barista shut the door in her face and refused to give her her drinks, she was with her husband and toddler child! I can go on but I decided to take the managers advise and go to another store!

Why have curbside pick up signs if youre not going to actually bring it out? Weve been waiting for a long time outside for them to bring our order out just to end up going inside to pick it up. This isnt the first time it has happened and its frustrating. Maybe dont put those signs out if you dont really *do* curbside. 😐

This location has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. They were super busy but still managed to take great care of everyone. Our drink was leaking and without us asking they offered to remake the drink for us.

Maybe the worst Starbucks in the bay. They can’t handle the additional volume of the mobile orders. Be prepared to wait.

Great little neighborhood Starbucks that gets busy in the AM. Super-clean and spacious with options to sit outdoors. Saturday morning stocked with foods & baked goods. Staff was friendly and efficient. Too bad there isnt a drive thru because all 4-5 curbside spots were taken.

Many people behind the counter. Some of them less experienced than the others, and some that are getting to do all of the work and getting the things mixed up.Id recommend the management take a hard look on how to reorganize their workflow pipeline such that the team members are helping each other and communicating most effectively.Because you cannot forget to serve a regular coffee twice in a row in two separate days.

Always nice atmosphere, although, I truly wish the people working there would take a few minutes some days to consider that at the end of the day, a half pot of drip shouldnt use a full pot of water...

Customer service was good, but the coffee drink didn’t taste so good

No greeting. No music. No vibes. No one even looks up. No one calls out the name to mobile orders. No one asks you what you’re waiting for. Triple espresso was a single. Tasted like charcoal off the bottom of a grill. 10/10 do not recommend. Not a starbucks, not by their definition of customer service. Wack and that’s coming from a stock owner.

Disorganized staff. Drink order was wrong even after the cashier said it back to me. Had to walk out and leave my food order after waiting 15 minutes for it to nerer get there. I travel for a living and visit a lot of Starbuck locations. This is one of the worst!

They treat you good and they give you your drink fast they dont make you waite a lot.

Decent shop, friendly people, easy location with good parking. Both bathrooms were fairly trashed. Still working, just dirty. Surprising since Starbucks usually is on top of such things. The environment is not welcoming at all. I have received attitude from Sarah and Sierra. Two different occasions. They get mad when THEY get the orders wrong and give me really harsh attitude. People like that should not be working in “customer” service!

Drinks made well and place is always clean. Also made my furbaby a pupicino which she loves and always makes out car ride fun for her. Sarah was great both on phone when I called with a question and in person when I picked up my order! Pickle says thank you Sarah!

What I find the most frustrating is the hours of operation are ALWAYS changing. Google never has correct hours because they change hours at least twice a month, every month or more. No telling when they are actually open or close. Its been like this even before the pandemic. I should just stop getting starbucks anyway.

Easy to see right off of Atlantic Avenue servicing Alameda and the adjoining areas of California. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restroom. Nice is ok. Credit cards accepted. Give it a try and you decide.

This store closes at 8:00PM but if you go 1 hour earlier, they don’t attend you. Saying they’re closed. Well they should change the schedule in the website.

This review is during covid. There is a well structured process for covid. I took two stars away due to the inconsistent asking of customer name. I went and order and they did not ask me my name and then my friend order and they did. After a few visits I noticed it is a regular occurrence. Because of covid I think its important, because they can only call out what the order because there is no name....... they cant say a name. Then customers are looking at each other wondering whos order if they did not hear what the order was clearly. Now we are touching the cup to see what it is and if it is our order, imagine if its not your order you just touched someones cup. The second star is due to no restroom use? I have been to other establishment and they are open ( not Starbucks)........We like to catch this spot before we hit the tunnel, try commuting home for an hour with a bladder that wasnt emptied before you hit the road with your delicious Starbucks from this location 😋. But besides those factors truly enjoy.

Honestly, good luck ever trying to get a Batistas attention. No one ever looks up to eye level to avoid having to deal with customers. Several times Ive made mobile orders and had to wait longer than people who have ordered on line. This is the closest location on your in or out of Alameda and its not the greatest. Other Stars on the island are much better and a heck of a lot friendlier.

The batista and self proclaimed manager at this location provided the rudest of attitudes I have ever experienced at any Starbucks location both in the US and outside of the US. Sara and Dani great their customers in the most hostile manner I have ever experienced. I placed a complaint with startbucks, hopefully they will get the much needed training in customer service and learn how to treat people. Terrible service!

Great people work here, but they are often out of the Dragon Fruit bits for my drink or are out completely. The manager needs to order supplies better, especially since we are getting into the warmer months.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly:Good...remodeled, nice furniture and floorplan although looks a bit bare. Also seem to have stopped catering to the undesirable crowd that created many dangerous and unpleasant situations for the other patrons.Bad... They removed all electrical outlets. No place to plug in a laptop, tablet or cell phone.Ugly... On my Christmas Day morning visit I asked for more half and half as the only pitcher on the bar was empty. The manager looked at it then refused saying there was plenty in it and she wasnt putting more out until that one was finished. At that point, feeling like a scolded child, I attempted to use what was remaining which was that last little splash (which went not only in my cup but all over my hand and the bar as well). Moral of the story...full or empty, where was the customer service? Trying to please a customer? By the way, she watched me and as soon as I poured it she brought out the new pitcher. The old one was literally still in my hand.Ill never go back unless like today, the other coffee shop half a block away is closed.

I just visited this location for coffee but my app wasn’t working and I didn’t have my card with me, so I had my water bottle and asked if I could get water. They said I have to wait in line of drinks which was pretty long. I had already waited in line to order and I’m 6 months pregnant so I asked other girl nicely if she could just fill my water which will take seconds and they all had pretty bad attitude and said I had to wait in line! I get it but I was in hurry and was so dehydrated in hot weather! If they filled the water instead of giving me attitude and talking to each other instead of making the drinks faster, lot would be done!

Greatly enjoy my neighborhood Starbuck the floor plan is more open now very accessible with low comfy seating. Less electrical outlets means no unnecessary people watching. Great staff.

Usually pretty solid service. Drinks are always ready when ordering from the app. Parking lot can get full during busy times. Outdoor seating.

PARK AT YOUR OWN risk car breakins at this location 1 per week. Still no effort at changing soon.1 out of 20 chance you may find raw sugar in the prep bar, not to mention you get hammered for getting it your self from the drawer below by the 7pm female. Put a dam lock on it or keep it stocked rather than give me excuses why you cant keep it stocked up.No electrical plugs, plastic straws or good service.Bathrooms are kept as well as the prep bar or worst.

Milk was steamed waaaay too hot! I know some people like their drink extra hot, but its not good to burn the milk and make it impossible to drink. Coffee/espresso drink in the morning should be enjoyable, not painful.

The employees themselves were friendly, fast, and professional and the shop is very clean. For their side alone I wish I could give 5-stars.However, there was not a single outlet plug available for any of the customers to use in the sitting areas. This is a rather large hindrance for those hoping to work in the shop and definitely will make me to drive further to a different location in the future.

Disappointing!I placed my order using the mobile app. My order included an extra hot drink and warm bagel with butter.I had a friend pick up my order. When I got it, it was the complete opposite of what I ordered. I received a cold drink with a cold bagel and no butter.I double check what I had ordered and it was an extra hot drink with warm bagel and butter. I also checked the sticker on the drink. Since I didnt have time to run back, I called. Over 10 calls later, the phone is either out of service or not properly hung up.Darn! Now I remember why I dont go to that Starbucks location.

Not a safe place for electronics. There have been multiple robberies there. Be aware of your surroundings.

Every time we go here it takes 20 minutes to get our food. The staff is super friendly and the options here are greater, but it doesnt take that long to pour two nitro cold brews and microwave two sandwiches. I understand that this location gets busy, but the service is so consistently slow that we are starting to go elsewhere more often.

I had an appointment in Alameda at 10am. So I drove to Alameda early enough to start working on my laptop by 7am. I got there at 645. Ordered my drink and sat down to get started on work. When I went to the bathroom there was not any toilet paper. Not sure checking the bathroom at beginning of shift is priority. However once I requested some toilet paper they brought it right over. I was able to quietly work inside. I also didnt realize how popular my name was. As I heard several womans orders called out named Sarah or Sara. Small world.

Pretty standard for a Starbucks except for 2 things.First, no power outlets. What is up with that? Why are there no power outlets? Come on, Starbucks. You charge premium prices, you need to keep providing value for that. Power outlets are of value to your customers!The second is the service here. The lady behind the counter during my visit this evening was discourteous. In fact she was gruff for no reason. No “hello”. No “thank you”. Did not respond to my “thank you” with a “you’re welcome”.I walked in looking for a power outlet. She said, “Looking for a power outlet. There are none.” Blunt. Unnecessarily blunt and curt.I ordered online and was standing waiting. She called out my name and order. I said, “That’s me. Thank you.” She just turned and walked away.Bad vibe, for sure.

Baristas are great. They remember your name and your usual order. This is my favorite Starbucks.

No issues using the mobile app. Was kinda bummed one of the days that the barista was sitting on the floor behind the counter (not sure why) and had to wait an extra 5 minutes for my drink. Mind you I ordered it 10 minutes before I arrived and it was not busy.

The employees are very competent and friendly. The dark blend coffee is great-very strong. The snacks are good. The other customers are friendly. Its a cool place to patronize.

Two days in a row, I waited over 15 minutes for a mobile order. When they got around to my ticket, they called my name to see if I was there before making my drink. I dont understand why they dont do what ever other Starbucks does and make my order before I arrive so its ready.

Today I went to Starbucks and ordered a Carmel cream ice cold brew and it took them 15 minutes to tell me that theyre making it different versus the normal way they make it instead of them telling me that theyre making a different when I first ordered it now Im late to work . They could tell customers that the items that theyre making differently when we first order them not wait 15 minutes after. Ive been getting the Salted cream cold brew with caramel drizzle on the cup Light Ice Extra cream foam I ordered the same thing Ive been ordering today first they give me a grande when I ordered a venti then they dont give me my caramel drizzle even though I paid for it and it already comes with the drizzle on top so they didnt even put it around my cup so I paid an extra $0.60 for something I already get with my coffee I guess its time to start going to another Starbucks around my town

One of the busiest SBux Ive ever been to. Staff is friendly, high energy, do what they can to acknowledge regulars, remembering first names when possible.They do what they can to get through the volume, with 6-8 people behind the counter at all times during peaks.Lots of Veterans and active service member spouses work there too since the USCG port is here in town. I always tip when I remember to / have cash. Military basic income is most assuredly no frills.Support your local Coasties.The SBux I visited at Disneyland was busier.... But not by much. 5/5

They removed all of the power outlets so that nobody can work at this location. I only go to Starbucks to work, so this was a massive waste of time driving here.

I love the remodel. I use to be the supervisor at this location from 2000-2005. And I met my husband here.

Most times they wont get your order right. If you ask for any add ons or make slight differences in your drink your most likely going to get a regular drink with nothing you asked for in it. Plus you HAVE to WATCH them make your drink! If you dont, your likely to get a horrible drink, with my experience the lady who made my drink put her nose to the side of my cup. Just horrible.

Worst run Starbucks I have ever been to. The management nags its employees and the employees dont give a dam. Takes 20 minutes to get a simple coffee. They never back fill or clean the creamer station and the outside is littered with garbage and cigarette buts.

This Starbucks looked real nice with its recently remodeled interior. There was plenty of seating available. Our beverages turned out ok. However I did not give this cafe 5 stars because our barista was distant impersonal and unfriendly. Also she did not call out my friends beverage when it was ready. If I have a choice Id rather not return to this location in the future.

Couldnt find any outlets or ports so I asked one of the girls behind the counter if they have any and she told me she doesnt know. Looked around the other side of this Starbucks and sure enough, there arent any! How do you work here and not know that already!? Also waited too long for anyone to notice me waiting just to ask for a straw. After I spoke up, a different girl gives me tude -- just hands me the straw. No courtesy or even a simple sorry. 2 stars because the macchiato was OK. I doubt I will be returning.

It’s hard to get straws. The toppers are not easy to mix your drinks. I hate the toppers of my iced caramel macchiato. I can’t mixed easily because the toppers are not designed for that.

The service has lost its friendly service as it is busy but impersonal. They just call out your name and leave the order on the counter.

So someone in front of me in line was trying to get an employee discount by fraudulently using an employee number of someone else. After the store manager figured it out, she had the cashier politely ask for ID and the person just said dont worry about it. The manager and everyone else said no problem and rung them up like normal. The manager didnt make a big deal, nor the cashier. They just politely kept the line and drinks going. I was impressed they kept there cool and didnt make it awkward for everyone in line, it was all under the radar. Way to go manager! Nice store.

Bracketing all of the annoying Starbucks things like loud music and crowds, this location has some of the best outlet access and available table space in the area. Its always more crowded at night but during the day, even with College of Alameda across the street, you can usually find space to spread out and get work done. Just bring headphones

The worst Starbucks ever. They have WiFi, but no outlets, not even to charge your phone, which was the only reason I bought their terrible coffee. The employees are useless and just stared at me like they were brain dead when I asked if they could help me charge my phone and call an Uber. Absolutely horrible.
