Order a cake from the bakery for my daughter 2nd birthday. The cake was dry and NASTY’ the frosting was hard as a rock and no type of moist at all. I asked for balloons , shimmers and flowers over the cake and it was nothing of the sort. I’ll never use their bakery again. Was better off going to Walmart

This location horrible wait time get people some chairs especially the elderly and I mean horrible.... If you are ok with standing in line for about 15 min of your life time just to get started at ringing up your groceries.... I dont feel right about this peticular Giant Eagle not at all I dont like having to go to it.....

I was 10th in line at the 12 items or less and the line was even longer for self service to the point where it was a fire hazard . No one was called up front to help the cashiers bag or add another cashier or open more self service line. The Chex Mix was on sale 10 for 10 get one free but you only have three flavors. Yoo-hoo in glass bottles at the front of the store why cant you buy cans? Ive asked this before and everybody just shrunk. Thank you for letting me share my experience next time Ill take pictures but hopefully there wont be a next time

We love giant eagle!! The gas and pout program is phenomenal! They have everything we need. Store layout is generally user friendly! People who work there are lovely and kind.

Love the freshness of the meat department. Food kinda expensive but if you know shop on sale youll be fine. Im loving the perks, it use to be for just gas but now you can use on food as well.

Great if you love spending to get the best.Or maybe second best

I had a gift card I was able to use for gas. I been in this store 3 times and everytime I go no crowded lines waiting forever. Thank God. The prices are amazing and the employees are amazing I get hit with a smile. Even from other shoppers. Gotta love it.

Giant Eagle is always clean and well stocked. However I never have a pleasant shopping experience here. The lines are always long and theres usually only 1 human-run register open. Its been years since Ive seen a hand basket in there, which is a shame, since navigating a shopping cart in there is difficult unless the store is super slow.

This isnt the fanciest Giant Eagle location. They dont have as many unique or specialty items as some other locations. But the staff are as friendly as they come. Particularly the checkout line staff are so friendly and kind to my kids every time we go. It makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

Giant Eagle is always good. I especially like this location because of its set up makes it very convenient and easy to find what I came for. I dont have to go through the whole store.

If Giant Eagle would stop rearranging the store it wouldnt take me so long to find the things I need. The store was well stocked and the employees are very helpful.

Very nice store they have good produce and some good meat sales if you watch their ads. They are a little more expensive, but just watch the sales and youll be ready.

I ran in for a gift card and Justin, the team lead, noticed I only had that and, although, there were plenty of lives open, the store was just busy. He stopped scanning and organizing and took me over to floral to check me out. I was in & out in 10 min. Awesome customer service!!

My best friend and is grocery store we love shoppin here and the fuel perks are a bonus.

If you’re looking for a good fried chicken here’s a good place. If you needed a big quantity their price is good too you just have to give a 24hr notice for big orders. Try there fried fish on Friday’s it my all time favorite. There grocery item are great too.

I liked shopping here they downsized what they carry. It used to be a great store im not that impressed anymore.

It was a busy Forth of July on Sunday but none the less I was able to grab what I wanted got through the line quickly.

My 1st time here, very large and diverse. Amazing selection without being cluttered. Everything from produce to meats to bakery looked good.

I only go here when im over this way and need something quick or if they have a great sale. The last time I was there I was with my mother and she picked up a bunch of stuff. When we went up to the check out line we seen a couple people hovering by the checkout lines, and they approached us and said that we could use their EBT (Government Food Stamps) card. They said if everything came to $100 we could use their card for it and said to give them $50 or whatever we thought was good in cash. It seemed like the workers knew they were doing that. We said no (even tho it would of been a great deal) it just didnt feel right. We have had friends and family members on that program and the money is for their kids to eat. Both people that asked us to do it smelled bad like cigarettes and alcohol. I hope their kids were able to get some food from the card.

This is a nice store , clean and a big variety of items.

Be careful when getting their packaged meals from their hot food area. They have a cold section next to the hot food, and make their own packaged meals. A while ago I had got garlic chicken there and it was completely RAW! I got the worst food poisoning of my life, and they said it wasnt their problem. So there was nothing I could do about it. I got photos and everything of the chicken.

Decent place to shop, some prices are higher than other places, some are lower.

Im surprised as big of a chain stores the are at the lack of variety in this store.And for some reason the lighting was not pleasant. Sorry just saying as I see it.And Im not a complainer by nature.

I have only been to the Waterloo location. Long wait times to get help from employees when something like self checkout isnt working right which is common and then they are really rude about it. My past two visits in a row have been annoying. I generally use self check out to avoid having to bother anyone but theres no escape from being a burden here.

I personally think this is a fine establishment they have decent prices I enjoy there produce, they have a lot of healthy choices, there meat is overpriced aswell as there seafood, but if your on Keto you can get yourself plenty of protein bars, carb free crackers, different kinds of almond butter ect. Very good place but prices could be better when compared to Walmart or acme fresh market.

Friendly and quick are the employees... when they wanna be. The person who was my cashier took her time and was grumbling about something the whole time.

You’re staff is extremely rude when disclosing that the store is closed. No need to have multiple employees scream how “THE STORE IS CLOSED”. I get they want to go home. But no need to act so rude.

The bakery over the last year and half has gone downhill. I order bagels almost every other day and nearly every week I have at least 1 issue whether they forgot my order completely, only made half my order or have made the completely wrong order. Ive talked to managers who just seem to shrug it off. I spend a good 3 to 5k a year in the bakery alone minimum and we are most definitely looking into other venues

Used to love shopping at other Giant Eagle locations! There was a time when Id spend thousands of dollars with them. That was until I found out first hand that certain staff and off duty at the store at 484 E. Waterloo Rd. in Akron, Ohio racially profiles, publicly harrasses, physically assaults and FALSELY accuses longtime customers of crimes!!! Corporate seems to be completely fine with customer mistreatment there. Its not worth your dignity and peace of mind. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
