This is my favorite store to shop for craft supplies, equipment and books. Great selection of cotton quilting fabric! Helpful and friendly staff.

They have an absolutely huge selection of crafting items.

The workers there are so pleasant and nice, very helpful!! I recommend to all who love arts and crafts, especially those who work tirelessly on those amazing fabric goods!! Places like these need funding boosts. Everything sold online, but youre paying a bigger price online for some things that you can get here possibly cheaper. The cost of living is too high, and the funds provided are too low, some places like Joann Fabrics and Pat Catans, help with the convenience, and know-how. At the rate things are going, were going to have to start making our clothes again anyway!! 🤣😂😅❤️❤️❤️

This is a review for the Canton Rd, Akron, OH store. I go out of my way to avoid this store. I will go to Joanns in other cities over this one 5 minutes from my house. It has the worst selection of any Joann fabrics Ive ever been to and the service is atrocious. Just today i wandered the store looking for assistance to not find any and then after selecting my items left after 15 mins in line and not being rang out. Youd think a store 30 minutes from a corporate office would be better cared for.

The staff is very kind, helpful & friendly. The store however has minimal options for certain items. I have been told because of Covid the truck deliveries have been out of order. The employees told me they never know whats showing up on their delivery trucks now when they do arrive. So its good idea to call ahead of time. That way you can find out whats in stock before driving there, especially with gas prices rising!

The store is on the smaller side compared to the others Ive been to. Overall the customer service has been hit or miss. Most days its good but Ive had a couple employees just be snippy. Its close and convenient. Usually if Im out and about Ill stop somewhere else because Im strongly swayed by customer service. The one manager or supervisor (not sure which exactly) was coming off like I was trying to pull one over on them when I was attempting to return a wood burner I had purchased there less than 30 days ago. It stopped working and I couldnt find the receipt. She told me they cant look them up.. ok.. but it was her attitude about it in general. Regardless I went home and found the receipt. She also told me that the best they could offer me without a receipt was 60% of the $100 I initially paid. But yeah.. Lesson learned.

I have a love hate relationship with curbside. I absolutely love 💕 the convenience , hate that I miss out on cool new items bc I dont go in and spend a couple hours,🤭.Always friendly prompt service either way.

Easy to find, smaller size Joanns than some. Some times the workers seem snobby like we are bothering them when I ask for help

Store is always clean, employees are always very polite. And I love it that almost every kind of fabric is on sale! It makes it so worth it to shop here! Matter of fact I shop here about once a week. Plenty of handicap parking and handicap accessible entrance.

Great experience as always. They were short staffed and Im certain stressed but were happy to help and polite.

This a very small Joanns buy its always clean and staff are helpful. Love having it in my neighborhood.

Nice bright little store, everything is neat and organized I had 4 workers greet and welcome me with a big smile. It was very clean here with hand sanitizer ready and proper social distancing. I actually came here for mini brands couldnt find any but they gave me helpful info on where to maybe find some. If I were a sewer I think I would find everything I need here

I really like having a Joanne’s store in Lakemore Plaza. Although they are small, it’s nice not having to drive to a congested mall area. Only 3 ⭐️‘s because when you get there at 9:00 am, they don’t open the doors until they’re good and ready. Even though it’s 9:04 am & they see you standing there.

1 star is an over rating this place. I called ahead, asked if they had what I wanted, they said yes we have plenty of that! They didnt. I called because they were a 20 Mile 1 way drive. So I called to be sure I didnt waste time. I so NOT recommend this place, except to drive by and waste time.

Store is clean and organized with friendly staff..some things I wanted were out of stock, but thats expected from time to time, especially because its a smaller store. I found some clearance items, that in addition to already being priced 1/2 off, were an extra 40% off..once I got to the register, I noticed one was damaged, but nothing I couldnt fix, they gave me that for an additional 75% off... They were slow to get to the check out to ring up sales, but Im sure they are understaffed these days..all in all, I enjoyed my trip to this little JoAnns, as always !

I went with the wife,and was as miserable as a man could be,so I dont thinks it fair to give my opinion,but the wife loves this place. For that reason Ill give it 2 thumbs up, because I enjoy seeing her excited,and happy,and it definitely does that. Im glad theres a place like this somewhat close to home

There prices are real high.

I wasnt greeted upon entering the store. I walked around for 20 minutes. I wasnt if I needed help or anything. No one acknowledged me until I was 10 feet away from the door about to exit.

My wife commented that JOANN Fabrics definitely targets women as their primary customer. I have to agree. I prefer some of the other craft stores. I occasionally do need some materials for projects, and I never seem to have a lot of luck finding what I need here. If I were sewing, this would probably be my main destination, but for what I do this store isnt spectacular.

They didnt have what I needed, but the store was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Staff was knowledgeable about what they sell.

I wish the higher ups paid more attention to this little store. Every time I come here the employees are wonderful, the store is clean and things are easy to find. It would be nice if they were given one or two more staff members during busy times but that isnt their fault! They handle it well and with a smile every time!

My first an last time i will ever come here. way to busy, no one to help, an line way too long for me an my one item. maybe i came at the wrong time. I cant not socially handle 3 ppl ahead of me an 4 behind me an in line for over 10 min. really bad panic attack had to leave. found my item cheaper at tractor supply.

Smaller Joann store, yet workers are friendly and willing to help. Great day after holiday clearnce, good selection of fabrics. One desire would be to have a bigger more diverse selection of kid friendly craft/project stuff so I dont have to drive to Hudson, Belden or a competitor.

Has a good selection, but the Stow store is bigger and has a better selection.
