We were in the market for a new car and were lucky enough to deal with Sean Rodrigues. He was friendly, easy to work with and straight forward which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. They gave us a generous amount for our trade-in, we werent stuck at the dealership all day and he was never pushy. We really enjoyed working with him and will definitely be back in the future. Had a great experience at Cutter Ford to buy my Used F150. Charley came out and helped my wife, 2-year-old and I find the right truck to fit our needs. He wasnt pushy and stuck around for questions but otherwise let us take time to discuss what we needed. Even with COVID restrictions in place, the entire experience was fast and personable. While we got the paperwork signed with Joe, Charley got the car filled up with gas, cleaned, and ready to go. Great experience, great finance options and my whole family had a great experience.

Aloha,Bought a car 9 years ago from them and so far we still have the car.We returned to them because they made us feel comfortable and well taken care the first time we bought from them. This time was no different. We were well taken care of and no pressure. What a great change of dreading the car sales right? Lance Threefingers was our working angel. Cutter ford is a great dealership with awesome staff. Go see Richard and Sean for your next car or truck. I ended up purchasing an F-150 from them. Had a mix up where they had sold the truck I wanted but Bobby the manager got involved and worked with me directly to resolve my concerns. Initially I was pretty disappointed, but they found me another truck and made it right with me. Happy with my experience with them and would buy from them again.

The service here was great. When my father and I came in, there was Will Soong to quickly greet us. He soon was checking out the vehicle in the most professional manner. Soong is the most friendly service advisor that I have ever have seen as well showing high professionalism. There, we were seated in comfortable seats in the lounge. The wait was not long. There is excellent service here.

Im somewhat satisfied with the service of my 70,000 miles check-up/servicing. One of the items was the brake system servicing. I had my vehicle serviced March 2020 and the front brake pads and was told I feel was still under warranty. My vehicle was kept for 4-days/plus rental car charges.

My husband traded his car in for a pre owned 2018 Ford Escape from Cutter. The check engine light turned on the day after we drove it off the lot. Since then the check engine light has come on 3 additional times, now with major shaking. Seems like we were sold a faulty car. In addition to that, don’t expect the best customer service from the show room or over the phone. Best bet when needing service is walking directly into the service dept. The 2 stars to them for Dino in the service dept who seems to be empathetic and as helpful as he can be.

I had a coupon for brakes, one axle, $179. Ended up costing $400 for that one axle. Double. I was surprised and disappointed. Learned my lesson to do them myself or take elsewhere. The coupon says parts, labor, and turning rotors. That coupon should be discontinued or updated to be more realistic. Rotors will be replaced,, not turned,, so this is the deceptive part of the coupons. Youll pay for the rotor separate from the coupon. On the positive side, the people working at Ford have always been nice.

At first, I had a good experience here with my wife and daughter. I was going to hold off until I go back to the mainland to buy a vehicle, but I ended up needing one earlier. I picked a 2021 Ford Ranger SXT Super Crew, which MSRP’s at $28,045. I had a paid off trade-in, and 33k check from my bank. Well they mark it up to 39,000 in Hawaii at Cutter Ford. I told them I would not pay that but could pay 35 total. So 33k check and 2 down, with my trade in. They said yes and agreed. After being there for hours we drove home happy with our new truck. I immediately received a call from my salesperson who was being asked by the manager to change my check amount to 35,000. I said that’s not what we agreed on and would return it. They agreed on 35, didn’t apologize and had me come right back to initial where the finance guy wrote 35,000. The sales person was good, but I expected an apology from the manager at least, but he walked right by me and said nothing. I also need to figure out a time to bring my truck in to get it acid washed due to marks on the truck we pointed out. Overall, I’m happy with the truck, but not the experience. I feel bad for the families that need a vehicle and are facing mark ups due to “limited inventory” in Hawaii. You would save thousands on mainland. Families in Hawaii will always pay more, regardless if they are being bought out and overpaying for everything here.

Overall, the service was good as usual but it was unfortunate to find out after the appointment only that my maintenance service contract had expired. No notice in the mail, email, or even when I dropped the vehicle off. Also, no sticker in the vehicle to tell me the mileage/date when the next oil change should be. A simple reminder of a soon-to-expire maintenance contract or even a reminder when dropping off the vehicle wouldn’t have been very difficult and would’ve at least have me prepared to pay for service.

Service Dept - 7/2021: Took my truck in for service due to a faulty warning that appeared on dash. Micah was very accommodating and scheduled me an appointment quite fast. He was able to run an update on my truck, which solved the issue. My truck was in and out of service within a few hours. I was very pleased that my truck was in good hands thru this process. Thank u Micah!!Sales Dept. - Wow! The team at Cutter Ford in Aiea, HI was AWESOME!!! My husband fell in love with a Ford F-250 that they had on their lot and Lance let us take it for a test ride. Oh boy, we were definitely sold after that! Then the General Mgr Brad really took the time to help us seal the deal! Before we knew it, we were happily driving home our beautiful new Super Duty truck!!

Our sales rep Shawn ran a hard inquiry credit check on me BEFORE we even agreed to a price on the car!His reason for doing so was because he said he wanted to be able to tell us what our monthly payments would be. How is this relevant unless we agreed on a price first?To make a long story short I’m stuck with a hard inquiry on my credit history for two years.Very deceptive!

Original owner of a 2009 F-250 Super Cab, FX4. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Cutter Ford, the first being a 1983 Bronco. Over the years, I have been very pleased with the professionalism and courteous demeanor of the personnel working the truck shop, especially Eric (the early years) and more recently Mica.A review of the maintenance records for both of these vehicles will reveal my frustration with several quality issues with BIG Ford, i.e. Dearborn or Louisville.83 Bronco clutch replaced with less than 300 miles.09 F-250 environmental controls09 F-250 cab mounts09 F-250 drivers side rear door latch failure09 F-250 rear view mirror deterioration09 F-250 tailgate guard failure09 F-250 headliner delaminationThese are quality issues needing to be addressed by the manufacturer and I do not hold Cutter Ford responsible other than hopefully a need to share these type issues with FORD.I remain a loyal Ford truck fan, having learned to drive on a 1968 F-100, 3 on the tree!

They have a great selection of vehicles. Renovation that looks like an improvement to the showroom floor and off to the side was a little place for the keiki to play which really helps when youre about to make a major purchase.Update 8/8/18: back for service. Granted I havent finished my servicing, but in terms of service, Cutter Ford is top notch. Staff knowledgeable, up front, and genuinely sincere.

Hawaii really is a brand of their own. This is the 2nd dealership where I can’t get a salesman to call back. I’ve never been to a dealership where you have to ask for a salesman. You normally have to fight them ofd. They keep emailing me asking if anyone has called, I keep responding that they haven’t, then they email me that it sold, want to see anything else? No. Ofcourse i don’t want to see anything else from you. You won’t call me back, and I just bought the car at another dealership yesterday, 1 that did want to call me back. Ashley was our sales person and was very accommodating. Unfortunately, when we went to pick up the car the next day the license plate tags and safety were expired. It wasn’t disclosed to us that it wouldn’t be updated at purchase. They say the DMV is backed up due to covid and would be weeks before we can get it updated. I asked if it was up to date before going to pick up and was told yes. That car has been in their possession for over a year so pre covid it should of never expired. We are almost 6 weeks out and still no resolve. While I did know they were expired I assumed it would be taken care of prior to sale because I’ve never run into this issue. I didn’t think a dealership could sell a car without everything up to date. I’ve reached out about an update with the DMV with no response. In these covid times ask very specific questions if anything is out of sort. Lesson learned!

Will consistently lie to avoid taking responsibility for a defect with your car. Always... says that the leak is small enough that you can still drive your car to avoid paying for your rental car. Had a transmission leak and water pump leak, 3-4 recall and have grayish smoke coming out of exhaust. I have a 2018 Ford f150 raptor. Never had this much problems with a car before. Service team is morally challenged for allowing families to drive unsafe cars. Do not purchase or service your car here.

I was low balled for my trade in, and the sales manager told me, it’s simply business and he would sell it back at a profit.Second, the vehicle I was buying had some aftermarket rims, and he added $2K for them. I told him, I’ve traded two cars to you all and I was told, “we don’t pay for anything after market” yet he insisted that they were charging me an extra $2K.With the deficit on my trade-in. I was looking at $53K for a 2017 vehicle with zero warranty.Then the guy insisted it was Hawaii law to have window etching done for $200. I looked it up right in front and proved him wrong.Again, business is business, but at some point they were on pure rip-off mode.I will go somewhere else...

Was told I would pay $160 to have my speedometer reset on my mustang. They said due to the current tune they could not reset the speedo...and then still charged me the full $160. So not only did I pay these guys over 100 bucks to do essentially nothing to my car but then when I got it back it was covered in dirt and paw prints. This is the worst experience weve had on the island. Never ever buy a used car from them. We bought a barely used car from them and had it go through an inspection and they informed us everything was fine and the car was in good shape. Less than 6 months later we had to take it to get repaired and were told the car had long term damage probably there before we bought it. Now we are unable to drive that car. I believe they lie about the condition of their used cars, or just have an incompetent team.Next biggest complaint is our salesman was sexist. We told him the car was for me and wanted it in my name and yet he only worked with and talked to my husband. Had me sign as an afterthought and only when I mentioned it. So if youre looking for a used car or if youre female, dont go here. We are now looking for a new car, as the one they sold us broke down due to long term damage shortly after we got it, and we will absolutely not be going here again.

GREEDY DEALERSHIP: I bought a vehicle from this establishment back in early November 2020. They tacked on a huge dealership mark up since it was specialty vehicle ($20k above msrp). There were damages found during my inspection after purchasing the vehicle. Its been over 10 weeks from the time of purchase and the damages are not repaired. This dealership only cares about making a profit. Customer service is their least concern. I will be doing future services and purchases with either Windward Ford or Honolulu Ford. If there was a way to give negative stars it would be -5.

Worse dealership ever... I went in for a free airbag recall, ended up agreeing to a brake pad change and they charged me $970... for brake pads.... seriously??? I’m pretty sure they didn’t even change them, my brakes feel exactly the same. I might sue soon.

Explained service well and time to complete.Now I notice on occasion, once or twice on 10 min + trip there is a short “warble” sound with no indicator lights lit on dash. When in for a recall for my F250, hoping that should be because its only a recall. The service rep was so nice and fix the recalls. Went and picked up my truck and found that someone hit and dented my tail pipe! We showed the rep and they showed their technicians. Their comment was we will tell our svc manager Gabe. Now the service manager says that they have to see the truck and determine if it was their fault. What! My truck was in their possession in the congested lot with many trucks and a pass through of traffic! Its your fault! Your people seen the damage! Now we have to take our time go back there to show them their mistake again and hope they do not damage my truck. Next Time I gotta call the cops, because they are liable! Dont go here Cutter Service are not honest people and will make it your fault so they dont have to accept responsibility. Disappointed .

***UPDATE***After speaking with the Assistant Manager Joanie, She tracked down my part in 15 minutes and kept me updated the entire time. Her customer service and communication was AMAZING. Needless to say I got my car back in about a week. Thank you Joanie for the service you provided and for everything you did to help accommodate us.They are MONEY HUNGRY - Very unsatisfied with the service from Cutter Ford - I took my Ford Excursion in around the 20th of December. Its been over a month and I am renting a car because Ford does not have loaners and the cost of my rental is over $2000.00 dollars already. First they told me it was my PCM and they had to order the part. They gave me a date when the part would be in and it never arrived. We followed up again and was told that they dont have the tracking number and need to find it. When the PCM arrived it was defective and they had to order another one. Well once that was done I was told I need to change my transmission. Well it has now been a couple weeks and was told it would be in on 01/29/2021 well guess what part has not arrived. Called today and spoke to Joni who is an Assistant Manager and she will now track down the part. So my transmission is supposed to be over $6000.00 dollars for them to fix and I am paying over $2000.00 for a rental and to compensate instead of charging the diesel price for labor they want to charge what they would charge for a standard car. They also said they will give me 5 coupons for $30.00 dollars for my rental wow $150.00 that is not even that tax.

Service representative quoted me a price and even though it took about two hours longer than expected, only charged me original quote. Lug nut removal was a success with no damage to custom rims. Edit: They made things right, changing to 4 stars.I’ve been coming to this dealership for maintenance for the past 2 years and now they are starting to nickel and dime their customers. I’ve never been charged an extra fee to rotate my tires after buying the works package each time. But this time, they are charging me an extra $20 per “company policy” for oversized tires. My tires are the same ones from 2 years ago! And they are only a 2% difference in diameter than the stock tire size. Now is not the time to nickle and dime loyal customers Cutter Ford.

The sales team at Cutter Ford are great. They worked tirelessly to make sure that my demanding requirements were met. I had very specific options I wanted in my new vehicle that they pulled no punches to find. They allowed me to test drive vehicle after vehicle, without a single sign of frustration, to make sure I got what I wanted. Let me tell you that this is no small task, they have a very unique car lot because the majority of their vehicles are packed into the condensed space on the roof of their bldg. They have to move vehicles to get to vehicles in the back. They played the car shuffling game for for over four hours, they even took one off the showroom floor for me. They were just fantastic. Oh I failed to mention that this is the second car I bought from them in the last five months. Cutter performed the same way last time. Im sold..... literally

Laid back, no pressure from Wilbert, the nice guy who helped us. We looked at the Ford Explorer in the show room, sat in the front and back seats to get a feel of space. Then we test drove an Explorer; real smooth and strong power for a 4 cylinder engine. Sat down and discussed numbers. He even helped us look at other cars we were interested in for other companies like Nissan PathFinder, GMC Arcadia, etc...The explorer turned out to be affordable also I asked about the nice Magnetic Gray one on the rack outside...They took it off the racks, and I drove it home. :-)

They’re always great! Called me when my part that I ordered was in shop. Scheduled for appointment the following week. My car got in the shop and within 2 1/2 hours my part was installed and I had an oil change done as well. Within 3 hours I had my car back and it was running smoothly!Only drawback was that because of COVID-19 safety measures at this time they are not doing courtesy transport shuttle for customers. It would have been nice for them to mention this when I scheduled an appointment or when I got the email reminder for service to include this in the email so I could have been more prepared.

I wish I had read the Google reviews before going here. In hindsight all the red flags were there while working with them to purchase a used car, but I was staying optimistic all the way up until the end when, surprise! The out-the-door price I shook hands on actually wasnt honored when it came to signing. Upon reflection I now realize that I was very thoroughly and expertly handled, lulled into a comfort zone where they could make me question reality and wonder if I had heard wrong (kudos to them for their classic used car salesman technique!). When I caught the $1300 price hike on the bottom line, I questioned it, and instead of offering me a slight consolation or making me feel comfortable with the deal (ie., hey, man, sorry for the miscommunication, but this is still a great deal and we cant go any lower.) they simply said were going to have to part ways. (O_O) Yea, thats a direct quote. I wasted a whole afternoon, and my family was devastated that after 3 days of car shopping upon moving to the island from abroad that we were treated this way. This dealer also made it seem like a big deal that we were getting $200 off the KBB value after I brought it to their attention that the car was way over the fair market value. Two-hundred under KBB is supposed to be the standard, the starting point, not the deal clincher. And veteran/military discount? Yea, non-existent even though they said they would. Furthermore, I caught three Certified Pre-Owned cars with blatant issues. One had dry rotted, bald tires, another had a broken A/C, and the final one was full of fast food trash in the trunk and moldy crumbs in the cupholders. What in the world are the CPO inspectors inspecting exactly? I even gave them the benefit of the doubt for those seemingly minor infractions because they had a huge inventory of cars to manage. Obviously, it was all evidence of an underlying quality control issue. Moral of the story, if you go here, be cautious and be weary. Ask questions. Do your research before you go, start with the facts, and set protocol for communications with them. My mistake, I suppose. I trusted too much. Although I did state clearly that I had a top end budget and needed to only hear bottom line price including all fees and taxes, I could have confirmed with them over and over again during the negotiations, but I trusted and thought we had an understanding. Instead, they switched protocols on me (classic bait and switch!) and then when I called them on it (through a smile and almost laughing) they didnt want to even talk through it to make the sale! It was a real shame. The guys were friendly and actually not aggressive at all compared to other dealerships Ive been to lately. Two stars, because Im not cruel even though I felt a little betrayed driving away and calling to extend my rental car another week. UGH! Merry Christmas. -_-(In reply to the reply: I dont require a resolution. The time for that came and went. I leased a new Kia Niro Hybrid instead from Aloha Kia in Waipahu, and Im super happy with it)

I have only dealt with the service dept so far but their service dept is very friendly, efficient and helpful. I took my car in for a recall service and they were able to get my car in very quickly and take care of the recall in much less time than anticipated. I will definitely be using them for most of the services needed for my car.
