I never write reviews so this is major for me. I’ve been here so many times and every single time I come here it’s quick, they’re not there to waste time, it’s affordable and what makes this place unique is they actually explain to you what the issue was and how they fixed it in detail. Out of all the mechanics I’ve been to in my life, this place has repaired my car the most and in such a short amount of time. This place is one of those rare gems. I recommend it to literally everyone I know who has potential car issues.

Im so very pleased with Car Care Center because they are pleasant, professional, honest and very accomodating by being able to pay by phone when unable to reach the siteBefore closing. Went in at 7:30 when they opened to get my power steering pump replaced, but they saved me $263 by just replacing the seals and power steering flash. It was done in 2 hours, now its quieter and steers smooth. Highly recommend going here to get your vehicle fix

Highly recommend this shop! My oil light indicated I was very overdue for a change and I was really stressed trying to find a place that had availability at the last minute. They answered the phone and got me in right away! My car was done in under an hour and I really appreciated how kind and professional everyone was. There wasnt any push for extra services like many other shops do. They even notice my tire pressure light was on and filled my tires at no additional charge. Definitely will return! I only have my van serviced at this establishment. I have 6 kids and I can depend on them to have my van running smoothly and safely. They are efficient and reliable. Roy and Laura are very honest and caring. They treat everyone with respect and kindness and their service is exceptional. I trust any service needs for my van to their auto shop. My car was worked on and completed very quickly; brought in for a check engine light which ended up needing a replacement engine coil, spark plugs, and oil change. Everyone was courteous and explained what was needed as well as final pricing prior to fixing. Great service! My alternator died and they had it up and running in less than a day. The shop snapped some old plastic on the radiator (which was going anyway) and replaced it at no cost. They also took my car next door to get the safety inspection done since they didn’t offer the service themselves. Roy and his wife were incredibly nice. Best experience I’ve had not just on island, but anywhere. Highly recommend.

I am fairly new to the island so it took me a little while to find a good mechanic. I have Finally found a good shop. The customer service is outstanding. They are truthful and honest about what maintenance really needs to be done, and they are fairly priced. I came to Automotive Car Care Center on Friday March 1, 2019 to check the status of a check engine light that appeared on my dashboard a couple of nights earlier. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff and how they made me feel welcome, even though they were short staffed. The location is very convenient (surrounded by shops, Pearlridge Mall, shops, restaurants, etc.) and theres always an abundance of parking outside throughout the day. The shop is well kept, especially for a business thats been around for over 29 years. I am happy I found Automotive Car Care Center and will be back for all my future automotive repairs and service needs. I would like to publicly thank Ron and his lovely wife, for their support.

It took two days and $200 to diagnose the issue with my cars AC. They were very nice to speak with but didnt communicate as well as I would have hoped.

Thought I had a major issue with my vehicle but found out it was very minor. They very easily could have charged me for items I did not need. Very honest and high quality. I will be coming back for any issue I have with my vehicles.

My experience here has been the best automotive repair experience Ive ever had. Although I missed my scheduled appointment, they saw me as soon as they could and had my A/C running cool in about 2 hours. I have a 15 year old car and I expected to have to wait for a part for my A/C to come in, but they had that part sitting around. Very clean, very friendly, very reasonably priced options, and very skilled mechanics. I will, without a doubt, be coming back here.

Zero starThis is a terrible place to go for AC repair. They put too much freon in my car, they put dye and said they cant find the leak, then the mechanic told me to go back hoping to find the leak later when it doesnt work again. I feel so stupid for not catching on right away. Great job, Automotive Car Care! Its too cheap to recharge and put just enough freon.

I experienced a sudden and unexpected problem with my vehicle and was uncertain as to where to go. A good friend referred me to Roy at Automotive Car Care Center. I called him that afternoon and brought my vehicle in the next morning. Roy explained the possible cause based on the symptoms I described, said he would check it and gave me a cost estimate if that was indeed the problem. Roy hit it on the head and had my car fixed and finished by early afternoon. The repair costs actually came in less than his estimate.I will definitely go to Automative Car Care Center again for any future repairs.

Cant say enough about this family owned garage. My 2010 Ford Sport Trac was having issues with gear shifting, acceleration, and the fuel injection system. Not only did they fix the problem but the owner took time to explain what they did and why they did it. They even showed me all of the parts that they replaced and why they failed. If you want to support a great local business, this is the garage take your vehicle to next time you are having problems.

Roy and his crew never cease to amaze! I broke the adjustment bolt for the serpentine on a 1995 Jeep YJ and he diligently worked the phones and found this extremely rare part on island and me up and running in hours!Honesty, integrity and great customer service!

I had major concerns whenever I took my car in for repair: would I receive an honest answers as as to the work the car needed, what work was recommended and why, and how much would it cost. The search has been long and sometimes painful. I found a gem in Automotive Car Care Center. From day one, straight forward answers re repairs, accurate assessments as to time, and reliable cost estimates. I have recommended ACCC to my friends and Family.

These guys were great. I was turned away by several other car repairs shops in the area because they were booked up for several weeks and Automotive Car Care to my car and had the radiator replaced in a day.I am very satisfied with the price charged and the work they did.

When my check engine light came on my 2001 Nissan Xterra my heart skipped a beat and I felt the weight of the world on my shoulders but after taking it in to Automotive Car Care the light was gone and so was that weight. This husband and wife team are are the sweetest, fairest and considerate mechanics we have ever experienced. I had the AC on my 11 year old Chevy Suburban serviced here. I had a great experience. Reception was very nice and the maintenance was explained to me in a way I could understand along with things to watch for in the future.

I went in for a oil change and discovered I needed a repair. I was told that I needed to change oil pan and change all gaskets. It sounded like a big job. Went to Automotive Car Care and they quickly found the problem. It turned out to be a small problem. Thank God. With great and friendly service, they repaired my van in a timely matter. They do less than average work. These guys make you wait hours just even for a minor oil change. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Better if you stay away from these lazy folks.

I brought my Jeep Cherokee Sport here the first day it arrived on Oahu. My windshield washers were not working and my Jeep failed the State Inspection next door at Jiffy Lube. These guys were great and found the problem right away. Rats on the Matson container ship had eaten my washer hoses. They had me back over to Jiffy Lube and State Certified within an hour. Fair prices too!

Tai was the gentlemen who helped us. My husband and I are new to the island and just had our truck shipped here. Hawaii requires us to have front license plates but we didnt have tools to drill the plates so I called to see see if they could drill it for us. Tai was very helpful. He said we could stop by and he would check it out for us. He installed the plates super fast and didnt charge us and he didnt even accept a tip. He was just genuinely helping my husband and I. We will definitely come back if our vehicle ever needs anything based on his great customer service. Thank you Tai!

I grew up with Shafter Auto Repair. I was used to having people care more about helping than getting rich. That was years ago. Since then, I have had my fair share of good and bad. Recently, my wife stopped by this shop; they helped, old style. Since then, I trusted them to do all of my repairs. I like friendly, when it is genuine. Local style is contagious. I set up an appointment online the night before and was so pleased to come in on such short notice and be taken care of so well. The team diagnosed my problem quickly and it ended up being an easy fix for them. They also dicovered on their test drive of my car that I had other issues that were in need of care and offered me a good price to replace the entire front end brake system to include calipers. I am the second generation in my family to have their vehicles repaired at ACCC and recommend them to others all the time. Keep up the good honest work...

Recently my shifter went out in my jeep. The linkage was broken so I had to get the shift cable bushing removed and replaced. My husband and I are new to the island, we had no clue where to go. Thankfully AAA recommended Automative car care center, they were so welcoming the customer service I received from Tai was outstanding. He explained to me exactly what was wrong with my car and ended up getting it fixed for a lot less than what was originally estimated!!!!! Thank you Tai! This place is off the chain, i went to them three times already for three different problems and all were solved and they always do a really great job, i give props to Roy, Tai, and who ever else worked on my car, and always straight up real honest adviceMahalo nui kakou.

They towed my car there, they diagnosed my car as no spark and the estimate is $1000. I said i needed time to save that. So they towed my car back to my house. A couple weeks later when i popped my hood, they didnt even put it back together. I called and made this complaint and they said i could bring the car back and theyll put it back together. When i asked how they said to tow it. So i said you want me to spend $300 more dollars to get it towed to you and towed back to my house? Wouldnt it be cheaper to just pay you a $100 to come here and do it? and they said they cant do that.So basically they took apart my car and didnt put it back together and they wouldnt assemble it unless i towed it back to them for more money

Rude (Ill respond to the owner-response here), I had asked for a quote on an A/C System Vacuum and Fill because I was going to replace my AC components (Compressor, Dryer, Orifice Tube & valve cores) and the older guy on the phone told me that hes too busy to deal with that and would only work on the vehicle if they replaced all the parts then proceeded to tell me how I was wasting his time by even asking. I ended up just purchasing a vacuum, lines and 134a and did it myself. Yes, I was going to be a customer & yes that is my real name.
