As much as I dislike leaving a bad review I feel it’s very necessary to give my experience with this specific dealership. I made an appointment with Alex arrived 10 minutes early and he was not there. I waited for 20 minutes and left. He was frustrated when he called me back after leaving and made it seem as if it was my fault for not calling him before the appointment that we scheduled the previous day. He wasn’t respectful and very unprofessional.Can’t trust a person in this world with his type of attitude. The car I looked at had the muffler tied up with a metal wire and when I asked why his answer was that he’s not a mechanic! I asked him to pull up the Carfax on the Car and he was rushing through the online pages and said it only had minor accidents and rust work done but no details or anything to make things clear. It was obvious he wasn’t being completely honest or he just didn’t care much. Very very unpleasant experience and he needs to learn how to be more aware of treating others with respect especially if he plans on running a business.Alec can reply anytime and say whatever it is you want to but I’m sure I’m not the only person that has had this problem. Pathetic is the least to say.

This is the worst dealer I’ve been to, Alex was unprofessional and not helpful from the start. When we pointed out a flaw on a car his response was “I don’t know I’m not a mechanic”. Most miserable person should not be selling cars. Alex needs to stay home we have enough negativity in this world. I love how he responds to bad reviews and tries to defend himself, stop it man no one cares what you have to say. Maybe he should dedicate more of his time off the computer and actually try to sell a car or making sure to study up on what he’s selling. Or maybe take a class on people skills. How many fake reviews on here? Just stop

Called on a Toyota they had on the lot. Was contacted by Alex. I met Alex the next morning to test drive. Alex was friendly, answered all of my questions and I bought the car. Took it back to Rhode Island and it passed inspection with ease. Great car, nice dealership, competitive price (in fact great price) I would recommend.

So First off the place is a waste of time and a huge joke. The guys barley speak English and they dont even run their company through a bank. I asked about a truck legit the guy was barley even there and he just kept talking in circles and I asked him about the actual prices and he kept saying no no we dont do through bank like this sounds so freaking shady. I said Never mind hung up. The guy instantly called me back 3 times like legit you arent even a real company dont keep calling me you freak. All I have to say is that if your looking to buy a REAL truck or car dont come here go through a company that speaks English.

Two weeks ago my son purchased a very used vehicle from this dealership that had 140,000 miles, thus not apparently covered by lemon laws in Mass.A few days later the radiator cracked and had to be replaced. Wheeler Dealer did the replacement for a very nominal charge even though they technically were not required to do so. The number one concern most people probably have with used car dealerships is, are they honest? To this question I would say YES.

Drove an hour and a half, walked in and Alex didn’t even look up from his desk. I asked to look at a car that was out front. He asked if we made an appointment. I said no. He said he would have to call someone first if we wanted a test drive. Made the call. Came outside and started it. We asked for a test drive as we just drove almost 2 hours and he hesitantly agreed. He said we had 10 minutes. We drove it, liked it. Went back to the parking lot and he passed us a business card and said call if you’re interested. Waste of time. I have a very jam-packed schedule always and didn’t have time to visit different dealers or just visit multiple times for buying a car. I am really thankful to one of my friends who suggested me this place. I liked it a lot as in my first visit only they provided me with immense knowledge about the features of every car. They provided me with the best of the rates in the market and was extremely patient with taking my all doubts. This place should have zero starsWe purchased a GMC pickup up. We were given 500$ off of purchased price to repair windows ourselves big deal!! And when we mentioned about the windows we got its a work truck what do you want? WHAT DO WE WANT? FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE WE WOULD EXPECT THINGS TO WORK.A week later check engine light came on and failed emissions n safety once I had gotten it registered. . Alex insisted on bringing the truck to his shop 52 miles one way he out right refused to let us bring it to our mechanic at his cost. RED FLAG RIGHT THERE, but we already purchased the vehicle so Brought it there 3 times for the same thing and bad brakes which caused front end sqeaking. After some large amount of money on the dealer (by the way cost is on the dealer)for repairs( if inspection failed )Alex try saying he paid for repairs without charging us a deductible, WHAT?? A DEDUCTIBLE ON THE CUSTOMER FOR FAILED INSPECTION YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NICE TRY! so we finally got it to pass inspection. A matter of 1 day after it past inspection several other things were going wrong. Brought to our mechanic. He foundBad wire harnessCut wires in back drivers doorBad window switchesBad lock switchesTPM needed replacingSomeone replaced to fuse box with incorrect fuse boxDoor latches werent working correctly so the computer wasnt recognizing we left the vehicle so interior lights would set at default 15 mins.Someone put self tapping screws into the wire harness along the rocker panel drivers side, ect the list goes on. total cost out of our pocket was1652.00 this truck was a total hack job. Looked nice drove nice but tons of hidden costly repairs. Total repair cost was close to 4000.00 between the dealer n ourselves.STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND TONS OF MONEY FOR REPAIRS.SNEAKY SHADY PLACE!!!Well a few months have past since my review posted i wanted to update on how things are going id say not so well, we heard a noise coming from the front end it was mentioned on repairs for inspection. So we just found out its wheel barrons. We also were just told by our mechanic when he replaced the wheel barrons that the 4WD does not work.So you people please really consider before you by from these clowns. Our truck has been in the garage more then we have driven it.Okay everyone just wanted to do an other update its now been 10 months since we purchased this vehicle. I am a Google Local Guide and I will do my best to recount my experience with this business as accurately as possible for you all.Victor and Alex were very difficult to work with. I live 1.5 hours away from Wheeler Dealer, and calling Victor to see if the car was still available was terrible. I asked if the Carfax was up to date and he responded with If you want the Carfax, then you dont want to buy the car. Its like theyre trying their hardest to NOT sell vehicles. My dad and I got up to Acton to their business, and Alex, whom I set up the appointment to look at the car with, wasnt even there. Victor had ME call him to get him down here, and Alex fought with me on the phone until I eventually convinced him to drive over to his own place of work to let me test drive the car (apparently Victor didnt have access to the keys to get inside the car). Approximately 30 minutes later, Alex showed up, and unlocked the car, pulled it out of its parking space, and quickly left and went inside the business. We were pulling teeth to get him to stay with us to answer questions about the vehicle. We ended up not buying the vehicle because it had a leaking power steering pump line and had bad wheel bearings up front along with major cosmetic issues like the bumper cover half-hanging off of the vehicle. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them again.

Went with cash in hand to purchase a Jeep. A brake light and one of the turn signal lights were out and the Dealer refused to replace them.When informed that it wouldn’t pass inspection as is and the Massachusetts Lemon Law would require him to give us our money back, Alex hung up on us (He wasn’t at his business, so we couldn’t buy it that day anyway.)Hope losing the sale over the roughly $10 it would have cost to replace the bulbs was worth it.Overall terrible experience and poor customer service skills lead me to recommend anybody buying a car to AVOID this place.

Dont be fool by the small appearance. Vic and Alex are great. Dont expect to be sold a vehicle. No crazy stories about grandma driving on Sunday. No pressure. If you like the car youll find the price is right on the money. Lots of decent vehicles but just the two brothers doing it all. I found it best to text Vic to make sure he was on the lot. I found Vic very honest. I didnt feel anything wrong with the brakes but he told me did and had a brake job done before I took the truck home.

Update October 2020: I no longer own this car. It had so many issues and kept breaking down that I had to go to a reliable dealer for a reliable car. In the process I learned this car had a salvaged engine from a junkyard that didnt show up in the carfax.PLEASE READ - DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! If you notice all the great reviews are from people who have only done one review and conveniently it is for Wheeler Dealer. I would question the authenticity of them.My story: I was in need of a car due to a car accident and found this place on Car Gurus (looking for a replacement of my previous car). After setting an appt with Victor, I was told he would be available from 11-5:30. Since I was coming from out of state I was to call an hour before I got there (which would be around 3-3:30). The day of the appt I was told to get there close to 3 as possible and he would be available for only 1/2 hour. We checked the car as much as possible and took it for a very short test drive due to being rushed. After negotiating what we thought to be a fair price, which we paid cash, he only wrote $500 on the bill of sale to save us $ on taxes in CT. This was a big red flag that unfortunately I missed. THIS IS BECAUSE MASSACHUSETTS LEMON LAW PROTECTS USED CARS THAT WERE SOLD FOR MORE THAN $700. I drove the car home to CT. Almost as soon as I got it home I started getting repair warnings. To no surprise it did not pass emissions/inspection. The tech said that the check engine light had recently been reset. When I called Wheeler Dealer to complain I was told by Victor that it was not his problem and he denied resetting the check engine recently but when I asked how long they had the car he said a couple of months so you do the math. He was very rude and condescending and said it wasnt his fault I was not a professional mechanic!I took the car to my mechanic and on top of it all the brakes WERE WORN DOWN TO NOTHING!! When I mentioned that I hadnt heard them on the way home he pointed out that they had been altered and bent by Wheeler Dealer so that they wouldnt make any noise to alert that the brakes were bad. I DROVE THIS CAR 2HRS HOME AND COULDVE HURT SOMEONE OR MYSELF!These people are dishonest.... BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Just an Outstanding experience!!

You sold me a vehicle that had a recall on it for months and did not disclose this issue. The dealership I spoke with told me you shouldnt have even sold it as its a problem with exploding metal fragments from the passenger and driver side. This was a free fix by Honda that you could of easily avoided this comment but Im sure you wont care because you got paid for the vehicles. Would not recommend buying cars from here

I don’t recommend this place. The staff is rude. They don’t care about their potential customers. I come to see the car I liked. Because they don’t have carfax report on the website, I asked if they have. The salesman brought the key, run the car and opened the carfax on his mobile phone. For some reason I decided to compare the vin on the car and in the report. The salesman got offended, took his phone, said that if I can’t trust him no need to continue checking the car, turned off the car, locked it and went to the office without any excuse. I was upset, that was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

If I could give negative stars I would. My experience here was horrible. I spoke to Alex and we scheduled a time to meet up between 11-12 my husband and I drove 45 min and we were there early. Alex decided to tell me after we arrived that he would be here at noon. So we left and had breakfast at a nearby diner. We returned at noon ... Waited till 1220. He would not respond to my husbands calls or texts so I called him. He answered and told me he may be able to be by later. He has no consideration for anyone elses time. This place is ridiculous

I called for info about a car and asked for service history that they said they had on the website. The guy that answered was eating on the phone and literally told me i shouldn’t buy the car if I needed to know the service history. Then he hung up.

My parents wanted to buy a new car, and we did not know how to schedule the payments and which car is the best in our price range, but this company helped me with it and now we have an amazing car.

Alex was very helpful and worked very hard to complete our deal. I was satisfied with the car I purchased in Jan 2018.

Bought an 06 BMW X5 and a month later had 7 check engine error codes to include cooling fan, Thermostat, brake fluid etc... added up to 2k in repairs. Not including front brakes 75% worn and back 65% worn. Also after a couple weeks driving the brakes barely worked and took it in and the brake lines were covered in fiberglass and rotted out, had to be replaced. I get buying a used car but just have a the car you buy here throughly checked. Also a review or two may be fake here as one stated they got them financed into the car... they don’t do financing or arrange it, you need to take care of that (I asked before I bought). Just a heads up, take a good look before you buy.In response to the dealer, no it still has not passed inspection as the brakes are being done, thermostat replaced and brake lines replaced. Still have more error codes to get to as the service engine light is STILL on. Spent $745 to this point and the cooling fan ($600) is failing but that can wait to the warm weather and have more error codes to address until it can pass inspection.

Pros:* He’s very responsive* He has a friendly demeanor* He has good product - I took a look at this other inventory and they all seem to be in good to very good condition and as far as I can tell, it seems to be prices decently. It could be that he’s the owner so there is no middle man to cut into the fees. Plus his office screams low overhead costsCons:* The document fee was questionable - In the industry, it’s a legitimate fee but I’m not sure what I paid for at Wheeler Dealer. I didn’t see the value because:* The owner added the $200 fee to the price of the car to start the negotiation. If it’s a fee that must be paid, you don’t do that.* He spent 10-15 minutes filling out forms that I could have done myself with my insurance company. I still had to spend a lot of time at the RMV.* He doesn’t provide any temp tags, doesn’t handle the title, nor does he handle the registration for you.* He also doesn’t have a separate department that does the processing so there is no need to tack on a fee for processing.* He does provide a 30-day Powertrain Warranty but my hand was forced because it comes with the $200. Moreover, the value of a 30-day warranty is moot since it’s a used car. You lose like a week or so just trying to get all the inspection and RMV stuff out of the way.* Also, in the beginning, he wouldn’t separate out the 200 document fee in the bill of sale. I had to explicitly ask him to do that. It’s a low impact on the tax you’re going to pay but it started to make me feel uneasy.* I believe he made up stories to try to get cash. Not terrible but seems dishonest and makes you question his approach to business.* We had arranged for me to pick up the car after my personal check was cashed. Three days later he claims that the check was not working and suggested I bring cash to pick up the car. I had two bankers follow the trail of the check that I gave him. There was no record of the check being cashed by any of the banks he mentioned.* I would have gladly given him cash but the situation made me distrust him. Just ask for cash.Overall, I’m happy with the purchase but the experience of buying the car at Wheeler Dealer could have been better.
