Went here to get my boyfriends car a year or so ago, and today went in with my dad to get a truck. Reasonable price, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great services. Excited to go in and trade my car in soon and shop around for a new car the sales guy Adam did a great job found exactly what we needed and made the process as fast and painless as possible. The service department left my oil filter loose and my car leaked oil. They gave me a gift certificate for a free oil change but when I went to use it they declined to honor it.This is how they treat a loyal customer of over 20yrs and numerous new vehicle purchases.Decided to change my own oil and discovered that the oil filter was loose a second time after being serviced by cooks.Beware of the service department at Cooks. Zero customer service and cant get an oil change right after two attempts. Do not recommend taking your vehicle there for service.

Had an awesome experience with Adam at Cook motors today. Funny story, I actually had an appointment at one of their competitor dealerships (Tate dodge in GlenBurnie) and they were in no way ready for me at said appointment and didn’t even have any of the trucks I was looking for on the lot. I called Adam at cook and he told me he had 4 on the lot and he even stayed late to wait for me to arrive to quickly get the deal done. He helped me out even knowing I was going to another dealer earlier today. We made the deal and it was quick! I will definitely be coming back for any future purchases! Thanks Adam and cook motors!

If I could give less than one star I would. So disappointed with their service department. They have has my truck for over 2 months now for a recall part that caused other damages. Damages that Im am being told I have to pay for. The first 7 weeks I was told the part hadnt come in and last week I was told the part was in but oh, they will need another week to fix. Its pretty clear to me that they dont know what they are doing or management is okay with the lack luster, I dont give a crab, attitude they show towards certain customers. I use to be a large fan of Dodge. Not anymore!

Would not buy a vehicle from these people. Their salesman let us look at a truck and we were ready to buy was told they couldnt sell until inspection was complete. Inspection was completed. Was told to come and get vehicle, while on our way the vehicle was sold. Talked to the manage , was told the vehicle was picked up way before we were told by the salesman to come and get it. They scammed us, evidently the vehicle was not available at all. They let us on for three days. I would not trust them. I would give then a minus if i could

Cook Mazda came up on a search we did for a CX5. They offered it at a very good price and took the time to work through some details before we visited their facility. Our salesman Matthew set up our appointment to finish the purchase and get the vehicle ready for us. He went through the paperwork, answering our questions as we went, and got us ready to ,meet with the Finance Dept. He gave us a quick tour of the facility and told us to call him with any concerns. He was easy to work with and wanted to make sure we were happy with the process and how we were treated. We recommend contacting Matthew if you are in the market for one of their new car brands or a good used vehicle.

I reached out online yesterday morning to purchase a truck. Within 30 minutes I had a quote sent to me and picked it up on the same night. Pete and Adam were awesome to work with! I am from Pennsylvania and had such horrible experiences at the Ram dealers in my area, I the 2.5 hours to Maryland to work with Cook CDJR. Over the past 4 months I worked with multiple dealers from Chevy, Ford, and Ram and Cook was the only dealer willing to make a deal and treated me better than any dealer before. This was the most unacceptable car buying experience. I would NEVER recommend this location for ANY reason, what so ever. Walked in and walked around for 5 minutes then had to walk up to the desk to be acknowledged. Spoke to the sales manager Jason I believe before driving a hour and thirty minutes. He gave a VERY specific “out the door” price. Sat down with Michelle and she CONFIRMED the price I received. I told her I was not here to play around or waste time playing games but she STILL came back to the table with a price marked 3 thousand dollars above the price that was in the notes in the system. After going back and forth for over and hour I finally got them to the price I was quoted. Told them I was not using their financing and then they asked me “why not”? VERY unprofessional! Then after I got to a price I asked for a closing deal. A window tint gift certificate. Michelle went to the desk and came back to tell me have a good night and put her fist out for a fist bump? What kind of “negotiating” is that? I left!! After sitting there for over and hour and driving almost 2 hours I was ready to go home with nothing!! My fiancé convinced me to go back in to buy since I drove down for this particular car. (Not available in New Jersey). The sales manager at the desk NOT ONCE came over to see if he could make a deal, and even after I signed to take delivery the sales manager DID NOT come shake my hand or say congratulations, NOTHING!!!!! Fast forward another 30 minutes. It was time to see finance. The gentleman in finance was the most pleasant individual I dealt with through this entire process. I am upset I forgot his name, but thank you sir. OH it’s not over yet! So now that I have agreed to purchase this vehicle I’m asking everyone for the second key. Please find the second key before I sign. I was assured the keys would be with the binder. Sit down with finance you guessed it NO key in the binder. I sighed anyway just to get out of there. They HELD the keys hostage until I was complete signing. The sales rep Michelle had both my keys IN THE CAR. Placed them in the cup holder for me to grab after asking a million times. So after she goes over the car I get out to look around and check the car after it being cleaned and the keys are now locked in the car. At this point it’s way after closing so EVERYONE has now left the building. Got in their cars and pulled off. The only man left is one of the rude sales managers. He had to call someone back to break into the car. I finally left around 11pm! The WORST car buying experience I’ve EVER dealt with! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

In November I purchased a 2019 Dodge Durango with roughly 38k miles from cook auto in AberdeenA little less than 6 months later (put maybe 4k miles on it) when it becomes A/C season it turns out the A/C does not workSchedule a appointment and they check it out and say its low on refrigerant, they tell me I am out of warranty and am on my own because I didn’t purchase extended warranty (was never offered to me at time of purchase)They came at me with the initial price of $650 to add a charge and dye to find the leak ($650 for their to still be a problem is alot)Told em it wasn’t happening and to put me with the manager and they said $450, weird how $200 can just disappear? Unfortunately $450 for a temporary solution to find the leak is still extremely high and I have already found it cheaper,I will still be charged with the diagnostic fee of $130 but essentially that was to just hook up gauges and look at it for a couple minutes to find it was low (I told them I already knew the compressor was working)$130 for 5-10 minutes of work, pretty laughablePretty disappointing, to buy a vehicle for the price I did you think they would value the customers and not do what seems like selling vehicles in the middle of winter with no A/C so they can make it someoneelse’s problem but it seems like they doEdit: Another issue I had with cook on the same dayWhen I purchased the vehicle a few days after I noticed the USB ports thats charge my phone and hook up to my apple car play weren’t working.I have text messages with the car salesmen about it to prove the timing and allTaking it up there for this I finally had time to mention it to them, another $250 it was going to cost... to fix something that didnt work when the vehicle was sold...wish they could have just put that $130 they scammed me out of toward fixing that for me since I have proof it wasn’t working just a few short days after buying the vehicle...And it gets worse, the shop where I took it was able to find a leak in the condenser, said there was dye previously added, hinting even more to cook knew there was a problem and still sold the vehicle...Cant forget to mention this was a “certified pre owned” dont fall for it, USBs didnt work as said, my cabin air filter was dirty, and the A/C problems...If you want to be valued, respected as a custom at a honest place then this may not be the location for you

Replaced defective airbag, now glove compartment is crooked. Took it back to Cooks, the service technician says there is nothing he can do. From it being crooked now, the light in the glove compartment stays on constantly. Have to put a piece of tape over the button in order for the light to go off. DO NOT take your car to Cooks!!!

Needed a new car and I am a loyal Mazda owner. Started looking online for area dealers and after 2 weeks, I found Cook Automotive and looked at the CX-30 model. Originally was interested in the 2020 model but after speaking and working with Troy, my gf and I decided to go with the 2021 premium model. My husband purchased a 2013 Dodge ram new from cooks. Part of the selling agreement was he gets oil changes for life. We have brought the vehicle to Cooks every year once a year because its not driven that much for an oil change this year I go .it a 45 minute drive. its time out of my busy schedule. after he called and already made an appointment for his oil change and also we was going to pay to have our tires balanced. Okay no problem Ill go. so I pull up Im sitting in the truck waiting so then I get out and I go in and I talk to the gentleman very nice told me he spoke with my husband already knows everything that he wants. I go sit down. He come to me and said that they cant do the oil changes unless we have some other service done. I said well you might want to call him because this is the agreement that we had. Few minutes later I am handed the keys and told my husband didnt want them to work on it .so I kindly ask for the manager card and supervisor name and left. So needless to sayy time was wasted and I didnt get my oil change my tires were not done and the recall wasnt done. Now as a person working in the service department myself at a dealership I would have never let one of my customers go dissatisfied like that.Sincerely Ford and Chevy.

Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I could type an entire book on the ways I was treated poorly by this dealership from the sales manager to the service manager all the way to the general manger Jerome. Not one single person treated me like a valued paying customer the entire time I dealt with them.I bought a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them in April 2020. The car broke down about a week into owning it and the repair was covered under warranty. The car was in their shop for 3 months for the repair. That’s not a typo. 3 months. It took them a week to diagnose the problem and get us a rental.So we get the Jeep back and take it on vacation to upstate New York. It broke down on us in upstate New York almost 600 miles from home. Same exact problem that was “fixed” by the dealership a week prior. I called and they basically told me I was “SOL” and I had to have it towed to a local dealership and find a way home and drive back to New York to get it when it was done. The service manager actually said to me my best option is to take it somewhere and trade it in!! This is a vehicle I had in my position for less than a month and a manager at the dealership I bought it from tells me I should trade it in!!! Unreal. So I had it towed from upstate New York to their dealership in Aberdeen to fix the problem. It was there for a week and a half and nobody would return my calls, they failed to provide me with a rental ( so my wife was out of work for a week because she didn’t have a vehicle). The GM of the dealership (jerome) Gave me his personal number to “help” me but he literally ignored my phone calls. I finally got ahold of the service manager and he says it’s been done for 3 days and was surprised nobody called me. I can’t make this stuff up!This isn’t even everything negative that I could say about this dealership. I could go on and on. Only positive thing I can say is that I can move on and never deal with them again! Do not take your business here I am warning you!!!

Drove several hours to take a look at a car on their website just to find out that half of the convenience featured they advertised it as having isnt in the car (i.e. heat seats, fog lights, etc.) and was very dirty. After bringing this up, we spoke to the manager who was rude and wasnt willing to work with us on a price after false advertising the car. Terrible experience, would not recommend.

After problems I had getting my tags and registration Oct 2020, today I receive a letter my title is defective as it lists the wrong lienholder. This place is worthless. You cannot complain abt the workers because so many are family members of the owner! Go elsewhere!!!!!

As soon as I called in to get information about a specific car, I was immediately impressed by the staffs manners and willingness to go above and beyond to help me out. Dom, who took care of me made the process SO simple! I live an hour away but I knew it was worth it when Dom kept me informed every step of the way since originally the car was at another location and even exceeded my expectations by bringing the car over to Cook so I wouldn’t have to drive ANOTHER 30+ mins to the other location. For a first time buyer, my expectations were deff exceeded. Outstanding job.

Overall everyone was nice. Spend the better part of 5 hours buying a high dollar used Challenger. The whole process could have been done in an hour. The car only came with one key. Asked that they provide a second key and they refused. Said they would provide a key at their cost. Very disappointing to say the least.

Initially the dealership seems nice. Kept in contact very well and kept you updated. Went and looked at a vehicle and started paperwork. Due to work constraints the dealership suggested after the credit app was done to come back today or aware their call. By 11 am I had no phone call so I reached out to them. They advised they were still working on processing information. At 4:45 this afternoon I received an email from the dealership stating the vehicle I was looking at sold this morning. I again called the dealership and they stated, we cannot hold vehicles while information is processed. I advised them this was a pretty bad business plan especially for someone who made a day out of driving to their dealership.For these reasons I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Despite a pleasant experience with a member of the sales team, this was the worst dealership experience I have ever had. After a pricing discussion, we agreed to a final price and interest rate. We waited for a couple of hours, go through all of the paperwork (a portion had to be corrected three times since the numbers were wrong), then we were shown the interest rate. It was more than double what we agreed to when we discussed pricing. The representative cited a miscommunication despite the fact that they were directly involved in the price discussion where the dollars and rate were made very clear. Cook lost on a couple with perfect credit ready to put a significant amount of money down. I would avoid this dealership.

Salesman was nice that the nicest thing I can say. Would not recommend it was so for the most horrible experience at a dealership I had When I visit the vehicle I want was not on the lot they said it was at another location and someone was looking at it and they would let me know if it was still available this was a Saturday on Monday the salesman did call so I called him he said it was getting inspection two weeks later they got the parts and made the repair I went back to the dealership and got a test drive and then had to renegotiate the price which was more than I had first negotiated the salesman said they would make up for it with the interest rate then I waited for close to three hours for the finance guy to finish up then he told me that he could only find one bank to finance the van and to get a loan would need to buy a warranty and depending on what level would determine my interest rate with in a month I found a better rate after a couple attempt I got it touched with the finance guy to cancel the warranty and he told me I had to go back to the dealership to sign the cancellation paperwork he was not there when I arrived was told he should be there in a couple minutes 30 minutes later I signed the paperwork I waited for 3 to 6 weeks and no refund of the warranty I have been trying to calling and I have left voicemail and message with people for him to call and never get called back I try to use contact on the website and the only salespeople call me back and they cannot help9/12/19 I have called and email left voice mail and left message and never get a call back form either Michael Simpson or the finance manager10/23/19 Chip King finally was able to resolve my problem

Beware of fraud . on 2016 we bought a certified used car from this place, 2012 Honda Crosstour with 29000 miles. This week I took the car to trade at Car Max and I was told car was in moderate accident on 2014. when I bought the car I remember asking and was told this car was in no accident.When I went to question them about it yesterday first I was told I was signed a paper that I knew about it. Then not sure if I was told about it and finally no paper showing that they told me. I was told its our policy to tell the customer but we can bent the policy not to , to sell the car. Also its called dealer fraud by Consumer protection agency if these information arent disclosed to buyer to make a sale. Just beware of this dealers fraud if buying car from them.It is strange that you have the option to respond but customers dont and they have to add their response to their original comment. If there is a car fax report why i didnt see it and you dont have a copy that i signed saying I did. If you show it to your customers, Then why I am not the only one bought a car that dealer claimed no accident. If you have a paper i signed, Then show it me. If you check your comments, You will see others complained about not knowing about the past accidents. If i knew my car was in accident. I would not buy it in a first place.Still waiting for that signed copy you claim you have. If there is one , then show me. Smells like a fraud. Buyers, Be aware

Their Internet pricing (on Autotrader) is blatant bait and switch They put all the available incentives into the Internet price; reducing the price by about $4000. The average buyer only qualifies for one or two. Dont waste you time talking to them - I spent all day on multiple phone calls before they told me that the price we talked about in the first 3 calls was about $4000 lower than what it would really cost. Find a dealer in the Internet that tells you from the beginning that their price is the final price + specific fees and taxes. I lost a good deal that I could have had early in the day from another dealer, but spent all this time talking to 3 different people at Cook, who took their time getting back to me. Do not deal with these people unless you like to push your blood pressure up 20-30 points.
