I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this by far the worst pharmacy i have been to. do not waste your time

I’m not sure why this cvs rating is so low because I have never had a bad experience! Pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful!

1/9/21 There is a tall young girl that sometimes works in the pharmacy dept that is very lazy. Tonight I went to pick up my prescription and it came out to $100. I told her I normally pay around $30. She made no attempt to double check she simply said its the beginning of the year I guess you havent met your deductible. I walked away without my medicine planning to call the insurance company. I then decided to turn around and try again with someone else. The other girl was willing to double check and it came back as $30. Thats the difference between a person that is willing to help and a lazy person.

There’s no one time I have a bad experience on each visit . From the pharmacy and their tremendous team due to their professionalism, knowledge and pleasant ways to the store as well . They are always attentive to your needs and more now since w were struck w a pandemic. So where’s the complaint from others? ...... sometimes it helps to recognize this persons for their true value : heroes in the front line !!!

Called after scheduling a minuteclinic visit for ear/hearing issues. Was asked typical covid questions such as “last 14 days” type questions. Said no I was tested positive a month ago, have quarantined, never broke fever and have not had symptoms since. Then I am suddenly getting diagnosed over the phone about my “congestion” (hello, ears nose and throat are connected hence ENT doctors), and then somehow told I have other symptoms (???) that I dont and that I need a negative test for an appointment. I thought doctors are supposed to know that patients can test positive for up to three months and a follow up test isnt accurate in terms of contagion. Besides the incredibly rude and dismissive phone conversation I was also essentially told I will have this problem until I test negative even with no other symptoms. Do better for your patients. This is why people lie about testing and results and why its still spreading.

Every time i come here I end up waiting an entire hour because there is some issue with my prescription and they are so swamped they make me wait off to the side while they deal with every one else. Picking up a prescription shouldnt be so difficult and I shouldnt have to be in a pharmacy for an entire hour during a pandemic.

Website never works and Minute Clinic appointment form never works! No human that DOES answer the phone can help you. Terrible!

Is helping a customer finding what he wants considered extra these days? That what I felt when asked them to help me find what I was looking for. I dont blame them. The woman from the cashier needed to help, and all she could do was pointing. Get more staff.

Terrible service in the pharmacy,,,back to Walgreens. So I tried CVS pharmacy again, same bad experience with the same bad people period unfortunately my insurance company would like me to deal with CVS instead I will pay full price and go back to Walgreens

Pharmacy Tech accidentally deleted my daughters script. She never bothered to call us or the doctor. No follow-up.

The Nurse Practitioner named April in the Minute Clinic is an absolute pleasure. I cannot say enough nice things about her and my experience. She was wonderful and accommodating and remained calm and upbeat even when faced with difficult patients.

Eve the overnight pharmacist is exceptional. Not knowing that this CVS store was open 24 hr, I would use the Walgreen pharmacy down the road... but never again. I hated that pharmacist (who added judgment calls to his job title)! and again, Eve at CVS is a true and cool professional.

I just love this CVS. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They explain everything to me and are always eager to help out.

I dont understand the poor reviews. Store personnel is always friendly and I always get asked if I need help in finding something. I do not shop in the store during off hours, so unsure about the sales restrictions. All I can say is that Bergen County Blue Laws do prohibit the purchase of certain items on Sundays and after normal business hours. Addressing the comment about discounted refunds without a receipt: that is because CVS offers many coupons and unsavory people would take advantage and try to return sale items with the hope in getting the full retail price back. How would you feel if you had a store and people tried to pull that on you? I dont blame any store for wanting to protect themselves. Moral of the story? Save your receipt.

They were Ok. Im sticking with supporting local businesses especially pharmacies. The cost of Medicaid fluctuates so often w/ the drugs the only Mental Health Depression drugs that work for me. (Seeing a Psychiatrist on a weekly basis is not an option because they are all out of network) Its always a surprise when it came to the price Id get or the insurance would cover or CVS/Big Pharma charge for my medicine. Being some of these substances are controlled and you only get a limited supply they corner you with up to 300% increases. Their generics are never as good as the brand - and the brand you pay through the nose. For profit healthcare kills people and mental health issues are covered less if at all. Plus I have herniated disks and degenerative disc disease which buprenorphine helped which they wanted $600 for that they used to cover. Its all very confusing and scary planning on potentially feeling morbidly repressed . Crying my only option when running around for Controlled Substances whose rules change often - we must enjoy seeing people suffer because the amount of people these meds help Vs dont is obviously a no brainer. But if one person overdosed on a similar derivation of a drug they would say its dangerous. No its not compared to the freedom of the vast majority it helps. I fear medical cannibus progress will become stalled as this wonder drug that helps addicts, depression, sexual issues, anxiety and others became a cog on the profiteering machine. Legalizing marijuana and other drugs makes sense. But there is to much Devil Drug Death and Dark Matters to Deal with as Satans Subscribes Satans Substance . See a connection people. Im Boycotting CVS - I suggest you do too!!!!

Used to be a Drug Fair customer until it became a Walgreen’s. Lived in this town my entire life and hadn’t known pharmacies were open 24/7. The 24/7 Walgreen’s Pharmacy on Crescent Ave, Waldwick had closed so I decided to give CVS Pharmacy a try.CVS’ front store has it’s obvious issues in lack of leadership, disorganization, unfriendliness, inflated prices, odd layout, and absent team morale... This is obvious... HOWEVER the CVS Pharmacy Department is nothing short of remarkable.CVS Pharmacy Department - I can’t speak for the daytime staff but the overnight Pharmacist Evgenija Rizmanoski is an absolute all-star. I have personally seen this pharmacist, whom always greets customers with a warm smile; arrive earlier than expected / leave later than her shift ends, help customers with recommendations for medications, suggest sites and apps for the best savings, and EVEN PAY OUT OF HER OWN POCKET FOR THOSE LESS FORTUNATE.For as long as CVS Pharmacy hires pharmacists like Evgenija Rizmanoski, I will be a customer for life.

They refuse to ring up customers for their purchases. I tried buying a bottle of coke and paper towels and the night manager refused to ring me up. To make matters worse the district manager seems to defend his employees refusing the most simple of transactions. (Guess he is not given a bonus based on store preformance) He verbally tried to argue with me saying it was against the law for his clerks to ring me up. Funny because the Walgreens less than a mile up the road is not only open but SELLS customers what they need when they walk in. Last time I shop at CVS.

The worst! If I could give them NO stars ⭐️ I would. Did you know if you want to return something without a receipt it is 25% off of your purchase? And you only get store credit even if you paid with a CVS card/ credit card. Im going to stick with Walgreens. Even the corporate was no help. The purchase was $100 and they want 25% of that. Wow never again

Got prescribed antibiotics by my doctors office on thursday, watched them send off prescription myself. waited for cvs to call to say my prescription was ready and by friday they said they didnt have anything. of course by then my doctors office was closed for the weekend and had to wait until this morning to call them and have them send it for the second time. they screw up too many times and they really seem like they dont care that theyre risking peoples health by not getting them their medications on time.

Wow. I am shocked at all the negative reviews. Have lived in area for 12 years and go here more than once a week at all different times of day. Always friendly clerks that will call for help when the line is too long. Its one of my favorite stores to pop in for a variety of things. Stopped in Easter Sunday after 7pm and they were open and had the eggs I was looking for. And there were two clerks that I saw: One was a young white lady other was a young woman of color. As for the laws some mentioned about buying certain things: yes Bergen County has bizarre Blue Laws that others even in NJ do not know about. Guess its all about perspective.

The clerk said he was prohibited from selling me a candy bar and Pepsi. Great way to run a business.

Great to have a pharmacy open 24 hours. Theyre always helpful when i have called with prescription concerns at off hours!

I tend to work late hours and this CVS is my usual after work stop. The people that work there are great, and they dont deserve to be accused of racism. The town of Wyckoff restricts sales between 1am and 5am every night. Between those times they are only allowed to sell health care merchandise. The Walgreens that was mentioned is not in Wyckoff it is in Waldwick which is why they do not have the same restrictions.

Im writing this comment while waiting for a prescription to be filled. It has been 60 minutes for a prescription and it has not been filled yet. The service is the slowest of all the cvs stores in this area. I will not go back to this one again. Walgreens can have my business.

DISCRIMINATION AT CVS. I stopped in this store between assignments for a snack as it was the only place in the area open. The white clerks refused to ring me up for a bag of pretzels and a coke. They made up some bs that it is illegal to sell these items after 1. There was a white man who left with a bag of diapers and a magazine. Being a black man in a town like Wyckoff I didnt want to argue. After getting nowhere with corporate I contacted the number on the anti discrimination poster in the store. I spoke with the lady at the NJ Attorney Generals office in Patterson, where she said that there is no law that would have prevented this store from selling me those items. I have proceeded with a formal complaint against CVS.

If you are black you are prohibited from shopping here. My daughter and I stopped in here after her softball game so she could get a bottle of powerade and a bag of pretzels. She went to the counter to wait for the clerk. The employee bobby told her that they were closed. When I came in and told him that the sign said they were open 24 hours, he said he was prohibited from selling her anything, and that if we did not leave he would call the cops. To make matters worse, I emailed CVS and the district manager Mike defended the employees actions saying it is against the law for him to sell us any items. Funny because the walgreens up the road was open and more than happy to sell us our items. I find it funny that they have an anti discrimination poster in there store, since apperentley, corprate defends any employee who discriminates. I will advise anyone never to shop at a CVS ever again if they take no action against racists clerks and are willing to go so far as to defend them.Visited Sunday August 14th.

Racist store - kept my wife waiting 30 minutes waiting for meds; they filled meds for other people waiting (she just had oral surgery)- treated her like dirt when she asked what was taking so long. They ended up never filling the meds, saying they misplaced her prescription (went to Walgreens instead). We told the manager (named, Kim) and she didnt apologize or even cared...actually saw and heard her laugh with a staff member about it - How does the State of New Jersey allow such a racist business to stay in operation: Where is CVSs executives that allow this blatant discrimination - sickening!

At the last time I filled my RX I was supposed to get 270 pills 3 mo. supply 3 per day I always count my pills after each pickup ,guess what 100 pills short. Today I picked up another RX and guess what script called for 90 pills this time guess again I only got 60 I guess things are getting better , THE MORON IS LEARING TO COUNT BETTER .I AM NOW A WALGREENS CUSTOMER,after asking for the manager they sent out the assist. mgr and when I asked where the mgr. was he said he was at a meeting , did he really expect me to believe the mgr would be at a meeting and he the assit. mgr would not be there also..Well lets hope Walgreens can countand maybe has no thieves in there mist. So slow. People are nice but it’s illogically slow. Doesn’t make sense why things take so long here.

Absolute worst run cvs ever. I have been a customer due to my prescription plan and hate them. Terrible service. STAY AWAY. They should fire everyone and start over.

The wyckoff CVS by Boulder Run is the worst of all time. The pharmacy department never has enough people at the counter. Right now 12 people on line.
