Brought my laptop in I thought was dead/dying. The owner (Alan?) was very helpful....gave a complete rundown of what it would cost given various scenarios that could happen....if its just this.......if its this plus this...., etc. He gave us a time frame and once again went over pricing. We were called earlier than we even expected and he had fixed our laptop (I was just hoping he would be able to save our vacation pics!!)....there was no hidden cost, it was exactly as we expected....and it was done quicker than expected. I can tell you the Squad at the big name store charges WAY more to look at the computer. I say support the smaller businesses and especially PCS Computer. Its a small place with just one or two people there, but their work is excellent. They will be my first stop in the future whether I need a repair, upgrade, or am looking for a refurbished computer.
