These guys are great. I have been going here for years. Good cuts and ground venison, so much better than doing it yourself!

I just wanted to take a minute to say that so far my experience with these guys has been Awesome/ 5 star. This may be a little long but it needs to be said as Im sure many of you have found yourself in this position before and because Ive seen some negative posts about this company. My son killed a deer around 5:40 yesterday evening. By the time we got it out of the woods and in the truck it was around 7:00. We were about 45 minutes away from either of the 2 processors that we normally use up in Jackson county and so I called to let them know that I was on my way with a deer. Both said they closed at 7:30 and that they wouldnt wait past that time. What was really surprising to me was that neither really seem to care about me the customer and both were actually quite rude their stance. Anyway, the next call I made was to Custom Deer Processing in Winder and they couldnt have been nicer. I spoke to the owner and explained our situation. He told me that while they closed at 8:00 , as long as he knew that I was coming that they would wait for me. When we arrived we were met by Troy who was fantastic. He got the deer checked it and in the freezer in no time. The pricing was very good and their place of business was very nice and extremely clean. Ill make another post once this process is complete but from what Ive seen so far I know where Im taking all of our deer from now on!. Thanks to the Custom Deer Processing family. Its nice to see a business that actually cares about its customers!!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely horrible. The staff is rude, they short your meat and they do not package the way they say they do. We called and asked if they vacuum seal and we were told yes. We brought the deer up here and 2 weeks later were called that it was ready. The packaging is in grocery store trays, which easily goes bad, and the additional sausage we ordered was not in the box, we had to ask for it. I will never suggest this processor to any one I know. It is absurd how they do business.

This place is a real mess, went to pick up a deer for my uncle. No body was up front and I went around back 3 guys were sitting there doing nothing none of them look like they work there and they didnt say anything to me. Went back up front was no one there so I came back outside someone was unloading a deer, told the guy with the business shirt on that I was here to pick up my meat and he acknowledged me and told me hed be with me in a minute. There must have been five six trucks that pulled up and unloaded deer before I finally said something again. Then we went up front Guy had to find the ticket then he had to find the meat.then when it came to the part to actually paying he couldnt find change for the cash. Took me near 40 minutes to pick up the deer meat. Took forever at every step of the process.

This is the second time I have used this place. First time I felt like I was short on the meat considering I brought in a 160 buck and got back maybe 40lbs. I got lazy after taking a nice doe and just decided to drop it here as it was late. I typically do my own deer but again, lazy and late. so 1 week goes by and get the pick up text. I come by around 7 the next day. Had to go around back to find anybody. door locked,open sign off. She gets my ticket, goes in back and says I need 7 to fill. Mind you this is the day AFTER my order ready call. So I got somebody elses meat as my sausage was frozen but ground was fresh. Come on!! I will never take anything back there again. I paid $110 on top of a gutting fee of $20! And still felt jipped on meat. never again. I suggest you find another processor cause these guys are just raking in money and giving back whatever is around. Or better yet, learn to do it yourself. Im done using processors especially this one. 1 star because there are no negative ratings.

I take all of my deer here after trying several other processors these guys do a great job at a fair price with a family friendly atmosphere very clean very professional

Great people friendly service been using them for years never had a problem the jerky and bacon burger is the best!!

I went here and dropped off 4 deer 3 does and a buck to be processed. They charged me up front which I thought was very strange, I waited a week came back and they said I had never dropped off the deer. This place is horrible and not to mention they have a fella who looks like Jewish fat Albert working there.

Always have great service Jerky is great been going there since the two little brothers were dang under 10 years old they are always the ones that help me they are some Big Boys now very polite !!Some of these other ratings above please check into the people that leave bad reviews because they leave bad reviews everywhere they go ^^^

The worst place to use and how u dont clean the meat before you cut it. Plus jerk isnt to be cut thick.

This place honestly deserves 0 starts but that’s not an option. Worst deer processing I’ve ever had .STAY AWAY from this place. I brought in a 190 pound buck field dressed and only received about 35 pounds back. Usually for a buck this size it’s between 70-80 pounds of meat. I usually do it myself but had to bring him in due to it raining. Worst mistake I made. Not to mention they only gave me 2 tiny back straps that did not come off the buck I killed. Also when preparing the meat there was hair and sinew all in it. Will never use again.

Professional, clean, and fair prices, would recommend and use again

First of all, I usually process deer myself so I know what yields are normal. Took in a HUGE deer musta been 200 lbs field dressed should expect at least 75 to 80 pounds of meat backNot only did they screw up my order, They shorted me one backstrap and 25 pounds of meat that I had to go back and demand.

This was my first season hunting in Georgia and after having my 2 deer processed here I will be returning. Very professional and great prices.

I took a good size doe 85lbs . Got 1 little box I held with 1 hand. The back straps look like they came off a fawn.. 1st time and last time useing them..

Very fast turn around and affordable. Didnt feel like I was cut short on meat at all.

I dropped off a deer the day before Halloween. They are less than professional an the place is dirty and cluttered. Several weeks went by and called them to check on the status. A young kid picked up the phone, which is not a problem, except the kid couldnt translate what I was saying and I asked how long they were running on processing. An adult said tell him well call him back somewhere in the back, and the kid relayed the message and hung up on me without getting my name. I called a week later, same thing. The third time I called, I got an older kid, and after almost 10 minutes on hold, he picked up the phone and said yeah we got it... I asked how much it was, and was unceremoniously put back on hold. A bit over five minutes later he picked up the phone and mumbled $109... ok? and hung up. I went this evening and picked up the meat. I was SHOCKED by how little there was. There was less than half of what I conservatively estimated there should have been, and it was all covered in frost INSIDE the package. Either they are not suing commercial freezers, or they dont have them set low enough. Freezers should be set about 30 degrees below freezing, to slow degradation and stop ice crystals from forming. I would have assume it was a fluke, but in reviewing GON and several other places, it appears this is a common complaint here. I wouldnt be surprised if it came out that they were keeping half the meat they clean to feed themselves. AVOID THIS PLACE. I will be going back to Feather, Fin and Fur from now on. Ironically, I just learned that the owner of FFF actually opened CDP and sold it to the current owner.

Waste of money! They probably took most the meat! I spent $105 to get back about 10 tubes sausage and my straps. Do yourself a favor, skin it, qtr it, take to block n blades on spout springs. You will deffinetly get all your meat back!

I took 3 deer in and they brought 3 boxes of meat. Each deer was supposed to be in individual boxes. One of my boxes that had the meat from the smallest deer had about 1/2 lb of tenderloin. It cost me $190 and I feel like I was shorted.
