One of the few remaining comic stores in the region. Each week the owners read ALL of the new books they get and write recommendations. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. BTW, its also a pokestop.

Quaint place. Outstanding service, both Steve & Mike are knowledgeable and eager to assist. Books can be limited at times, though staff will work to order books you are looking for. Always a pleasure to look through books and converse about new and upcoming books/issues. They always offer a fresh perspective on new and upcoming comics. Awesome shop, happy to go there. If you enjoy comics this place is for you :)

The staff here is always friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to get to know their customers. I would recommend this store to anyone interested in comics, board games, or role-playing games.If they dont have something in stock, theyre willing to ship it in and they dont charge shipping for doing so, which is a bonus!

Excellent little comic book shop that has tons of different comics in excellent condition! Also has a decent selection of board games and the best local selection of dice.

Perfect place for comic book lovers of course! They have every back issue you could but if they should fail to have it in stock theyll surely order it for you. You can go anywhere else and find a friendlier group of individuals wholl treat you with respect like they do at four color.

I have recently embarked on a task of preserving and completing a large collection and Mike is helping me fill in the gaps and preserve the older ones properly. Consistent miscommunication made me give up on this place.My Dad wanted me to sell some old comics. So I give to place a call, and they said to come in anytime. Okay, so far so good. I come in a couple weeks later, and they say theyre swamped because of a sale. I should come back in a month and a half.Thats not cool given what they said before, but what can I do? So I wait, and come in on the right month. But then, they say I can only bring in comics to sell on Saturdays. I told the guy at the front desk about the difficulties Id had, and his response was one of those sorries that sounds more like a defensive excuse than an apology.Its hard for me to do Saturdays given my work schedule, but I could have arranged something if I knew in advance. But after a phone call and two visits where I heard different things every time, Im not inclined to go back there.

The owner and his wife are absolutely the kindest people I have ever met. They have a HUGE selection of Bones miniatures which I regularly go in to purchase once a week. They also have a great stock of comics, and figures too! Such a great place!

I Was traveling to Winchester and searched for comic book stores in adavance for the area I would be in. Stopped in and saw a nice selection of back issues. Staff even pulled boxes from the back for me to look through when I asked if they had silver age books. Staff is friendly and I enjoyed being able to actually talk about books while browsing. Great expierence. I will definitely visit again.

I love this store. I have lived in many different places and the first thing I do is seek out the local Comic store. The day I found Four Color Fantasies was the best day of my life. (I hope my wife and kids dont get a hold of this.) I try to go at least once a week and Mike is alwys ready to talk about the weeks releases or anything else comics. Great store, great family, great time always!

Mike is an awesome dude. Very knowledgeable, very happy to help and answer questions. Been going there for many years without a single bad experience. I only wish I got to go more often, but Im happy knowing no matter what the Blue House still has the great welcoming staff that is a staple of their business.The store is very cozy and well kept, its masterly organized with alphabetized pull out drawers of older and recent comics, and they even have a lil manga. Also lots of graphic novels, some action figures, and they do a neat theme of comics on the wall where youre free to guess what it could be and win a prize. Also great subscription system, they do try and work with you the best they are able to get you your chosen weekly comics whenever youre available for pickup.Overall a true delight to go and get whatever comic goodness you happen to be looking for. And if they dont happen to have it out in the open, dont be afraid to ask if its stashed with the back issues. Theres alot more then meets the eye when first stepping into the establishment, and you wont be disappointed with what you may find!
