Computer Fixx is, by far, the best business for computer repairs and or data retrieval. I have been utilizing their services since 2009. Recently, my cousin suffered a computer crash, and there was some very important data she needed retrieved. I agree with another reviewer-- Glenn needs a superman cape! He is beyond awesome when it comes to a computer issue! I live about 50 miles out from Wilmington and there are other computer shops nearby, but none of them compare to Computer Fixx. Computer Fixx is The Best place to go to get your computer fixed. For years I have gone to repair shop one after the other. The way I was treated it always made me feel stupid and many places acted like my presence was bothering them.... Then I found Mr. Glenn and Susan. My hope was restored. My computer malfunctioned at the worst possible time, given the current situation as of March 2020. After Glenn repaired my laptop quickly and at the lowest cost possible, he warned me that the repair was only temporary. He showed me a refurbished Sony laptop he was working on getting ready for sale and said that would always be an option when mine crashed. I got all my important pictures and documents off the laptop and then a week later, it went black again. Contacted Glenn about a refurbished laptop he had shown me and it was still available. He gave me an amazing deal and I had to come back on and say how happy I am with this new laptop. Ive had it for a few months and its perfect for us. In one word: Excellent! I had been taking my old XP desk top computer to Glenn for 3 years who had fixed several problems and kept it running. As a new, fledgling online store, my budget is tight. Fortunately for me, I discovered Computer Fixx. When the hard drive finally crashed, Glenn was able to provide me with a refurbished one at a price I could afford. When I thought my laptop hard drive was dead due to an accident, he discovered it was not. He gave it a tuneup but at a cost to him by forgoing selling me a refurbished laptop which would have given him more money. I bought it anyway. And now I have two laptops with current MS software. I visited Glenn and his wife earlier this week. My computer has been dropped and the LED screen broken. I called and brought my computer in to them that day and they had a quote for me within a few hours. Not only was the quote way more reasonably priced than competitors in the area they also had the LED screen overnighted. Unprofessional and not knowledgeable. Took computer in for diagnostic after self testing some hardware and running software. I was unable to determine exact cause of faulty computer but suspected it was either CPU or graphics related. I asked whether he could do a diagnostic with spare parts to determine if it was hardware related and he said no problem. On pick up day he said he thought it might be CPU related but wasnt sure, I asked him whether he put a working cpu in to test like I asked and he replied that he didnt have one to try right now so he just ran some software....He then wanted to charge me $120 for telling me the info that I provided him with in the first place. This place is a scam.

They gave me a honest review of my laptop and in a days notice they gave me the information about the price of my laptop to get it fixed. My laptop was beyond repair but they gave me a true and honest answer. if i ever had another laptop issue thats my place to go

A++++++ I recently had my hard drive crap out on me in my older IMAC or Apple all-in-one so i took my computer to Computer Fixx. I choose Computer Fixx after comparing prices and reviews of other computer repair specialist here in town. Computer Fixx was significantly cheaper and the customer service from Glenn was exceptional. Glenn went above and beyound recovering lost data, fixing fan issues and updating operating systems at no additional cost and with a 1-2 day turn around. I would highly recomend Glenn and am thankful to have created this relationship with Computer Fixx.

I just got my computer fixed today and it running perfectly, Its practically brand new! I had some pretty serious virsus on my computer, but they were patient and got them all removed and restored the entire system in a couple days. They also went above and beyond what I asked by adding additional top-notch virus protection, getting iTunes set up, and saving all my files, music and pictures. I would advise everyone to bring thier computer to Computer Fixx especially college students because they are affordable, partient, knowledgable, and not to mention professional. I am VERY satisfied with the services!

Great place to go to get your computer worked on

We were on vacation and my kids broke my iPhone (lets just say I was more than upset not being able to read my screen). Glenn saved the day! I found Computer Fixx and brought them my sad looking phone. In what seemed like no time Glenn had it as good as new.

$125 for DC jack replacement - OUCH - Poor Pricing IMO for a local bus

Bricked my computer with a docker install/windows update. OS was corrupted, couldnt repair installation or boot in safe mode. 100gb of music and recent projects i couldnt recover. Dropped my computer off and got it back a few days later 100% functional with all of my data/app libraries intact. Reinstalled Serato DJ, VS Code etc and was up and running in no time. Couldnt be more pleased. Super knowledgeable - if you have a tricky situation that needs to be fixed quick and in a hurry dont hesitate to bring your machine here.
