The worst customer service. Walked in and was not greeted, I was in the store at 4:15pm on 1/12, there was no other customers in the store. There was one employee there but seems like he was more interested putting hats away than to try to assist me. I was interested in buying a few hats but walked out once I felt ignored. Sucks for a place that has hourly dollar quotas to meet. Please employees with customer service experience!!!

Great store if you want to talk to the stoner kid in the LA hat about where to get weed and edibles. He had three friends visit and they talked about this freely in front of customers and children. Idiots.

I like to have custom embroidered hats made at Lids. This one at the Outlets does a great job.

My son was super excited to visit this store on our recent trip to Williamsburg. We walked in and were immediately greeted by 2 very friendly employees. I really wish I had gotten their names! One was a younger Caucasian lady with blue eyes and the other was a light skinned African American gentleman who told us he was in college. They were both incredible!My son is 10 and had several questions and they both took the time to talk to him and make sure he was getting what he wanted. They didn’t seem to mind his endless joking about working there and even joked back with him. The lady helped him pick out the embroidery on the 2 hats he purchased and made sure he was happy with everything. She was amazing at directing him away from something he wanted on the hat that made no sense at all to something that would.The customer service is what gives Lids 5 stars. We live near Richmond and have other stores up here and prices are similar. We found this to be true with most stores at the “outlets”. These are regular retail prices, but we didn’t mind because the 2 employees were so wonderful.If we are ever back down there again, we will be stopping in Lids.

Great experience! Taylor is the person to see for all your hat buying needs, and she did an amazing job taking care of us. Pretty good selection of hats to choose from and a great sale.

The manager found a DC flag, embroidered it onto my nationals cap! Love it!

Great experience overall from the second I walked in. The staff helped me find what I was looking for and I was in and out as a happy customer! I think from my experience here they have improved a lot based off of other reviews I have read!

I would give zero stars if I could. I’ve shopped here twice in the last seven day period (out of necessity), and both times the front door has been locked and a little paper clock stuck to the door telling me when they would return from the break. It’s 15° out, and now I have to walk around this mall and waste time until the employee returns from their break. I understand they need a break, but their company should plan more effectively for this and give them some extra staff coverage during break periods. Also, the first time I shopped here recently, the employee was virtually no help whatsoever. I am completely underwhelmed..

Horrible experience we went in to get a team usa matching hats for my son and my husband the hat that fit my son it had embroidery on it already we didnt know that at the time we went to check out and the manager said we had to pay for the embroidery already on the hat we asked if they had another one in his size (there were only 3 hats left none his size) she said no and my son was extremely disappointed I then asked why we had to pay for the embroidery on the hat if we didnt put it on there nor did we want it she said it was the display one and they couldnt do anything about it and t had to be paid for it was the last hat in my sons sizeCustomer service in that store is horrible with the management

I took a trip this morning to the Lids located in the outlet malls of Williamsburg VA. I was greeted by a woman who i found out later was the manager as well as a new mother. Turns out she recently transfered to this store at the request of the company. She kept the business simple and gladly pointed me in the right direction of the hat I was looking for. She was very friendly and assisted me in finding the hat. Based on earlier reviews about the previous management and staff, this young lady is going to make a positive impact on the Lids store and the guest that visit her location. Keep up the great work!

Stopped by there at 3:19p on President’s Day..and the store was closed. I called in and the lady said she was on a break and would open in 20 minutes. Wow. Horrible service. I didn’t know retail stores closed in the middle of the day for breaks. They could’ve at least put a sign up saying they were temporarily closed and would re-open shortly.
