Been a customer with the store for many years, always love to see what’s new in terms of comics and collectibles. The only issue I really have with the store is if you sell any kind of collectible to them you will get lowballed to the max. If you sell about 10 collectibles to them, you should expect to only get about $50. Even if the used items would go for $100+ online. But, if you check back later all the items will be overpriced to the point where they will make their money back just by selling one of the things you sold them. I understand it’s a supply and demand kind of world. But, come on! You can easily make your money back. Don’t lowball loyal customers who’ve spent thousands of dollars in your store. So, if you are looking for some awesome collectibles and comics, come here. But, if you wanna sell them anything… just go with eBay.

Shout out to Craig, and Jim for running an AMAZING comic and collectible figure store. I was in town this weekend while visiting family and was happy to see the store thriving and looking even better than I remember it in 2015.

Wow what a cool store! Lots of comics including a $2 comic section, lots of action figures of all comics and movies , they had posters and gaming cards, lots of rare in package star wars stuff! Well definitely be back.

Very awesome place!I wish I took photos of this place to describe what I saw, but it was just amazing! I loved the setup right as soon as you walked in. The display cases were nice and full and well lit to display all the figurines, statues and comics inside them. The place was really organized and the staff were not only very friendly, welcoming and very helpful, but they definitely knew their inventory without even having to look.They also sell older back issues and magazines along with comic supplies and some killer looking custom shortboxes and drawer boxes too. Their figure and statue selection lined a huge portion of the store, which was awesome!You could shop for days in this place!Oh, and who can forget that kickass Hulk in the middle of the store and the Silver Surfer on top of the display case. Awesomeness!Definitely recommend if youre ever in the area and cant thank my cousin and his wife enough for showing me this place too. Ill be returning for sure, and hopefully soon!

Today I was dusting my collectible shelf when I had the strange inclination to call up this shop and ask a quick question. I was greeted by Jim the owner and was instantly taking back 20 years. I am a pretty awkward guy and like I said a little taken back to be greeted by the same voice I was all those years ago. I doubt you remember me Jim but my grandfather used to take us to your store ALL the time. We would knock stuff over and by all your expensive collectibles only to open them when we got home and probably gave you a few headaches but you were always kind and welcoming to us. I was the kid always trying to by Spawn comics and Friday the 13 DVDs and you wouldn’t let me. My brother was African American and I am Caucasian and we would come with our grandfather all the time, just thinking of some ways you might remember us. Anyway this store isnt only good just because of nostalgia it is an institution to the set of collecting. Though it’s been a few years since I’ve stepped inside (I unfortunately don’t live in the area anymore) it’s gotten continuously better over the years. Have a huge selection of comics old and new, trades and the best selection of collectives you will find in shop anywhere. I love hero headquarters thanks for all the good memories Jim.

Amazingly beautiful! You can tell the shop is a labor of love and not just schilling for cash. The staff knew the place expertly. The man behind the counter was able to recommend a better product and knew it well enough to have a legit conversation with be about one of my passions. The store has plenty in it and doesnt feel overwhelming or empty.

I’ve dragged her into MANY comic & toy stores over the years, and we both agreed that this store was one of the BEST organized, cleanest stores we’ve visited. And the SELECTION is fantastic! Anyone looking for a great toy and comic book place, aka home away from home, should come here. Its one of the bigger toy shops around and a huge selection of stuff will keep you busy for a while. Fair prices on purchasing and trading which they are typically happy to do. If you are looking for vintage action figures or Magic cards or anything in-between, theyll probably have it. Definitely worth visiting and if you do, ask for Tristan, great customer service and very fair dealing.

I couldve spent all day (and all of my money) here! I absolutley love this store, especially the way they showcase their figures. I picked up a Macfarlane Tetsuo figure for a great price, and my fiance got her first 2 comics ever (Lady Death). I highly recommend Hero Headquarters to anyone that enjoys comics, figures, 80s/90s pop culture, table top rpgs, star wars, the list goes on.....

A great location, with some top-tier comics and related merchandise. Staff were helpful and pleasant, and I even got a good deal on some magic the Gathering stuff.

I spent a week vacationing in Denver and visited about 8 comic book stores. Hero Headquarters was my favorite of the bunch. It is clean, organized, merchandised with flair and stocked with vintage as well as new collectibles. It was the only store that carried Hot Toys and I picked up the Scout Trooper from The Mandalorian. I have one day remaining and will make a second trip before I head home to Florida.

If youre looking for something cool and want to spend money then great.. but I dont recommend going there to sale your awesome collection.

Top notch store with a huge amount of toys ranging from vintage to brand new releases, as well as comics and all the other proper nerd things. Staff was friendly and helpful. I especially liked the glass cases displaying figures that were on sale in the store, or on sale themselves.

Been going here for just over 3 years easily spending over 2k across that time and I can honestly say I made my last stop there yesterday. If their low inventory, over priced collectibles or lack there of comic books doesn’t divert you, maybe the horrible customer service will. They seem to ignore (the older grey haired man and red head working yesterday) everyone walking in or leaving with out any greeting or thank you while they talk obnoxiously amongst themselves or on the phone (especially the phone!!). Over all, you’ll make better use of your time shopping online. These people aren’t worth your money, period.

First time coming in , they had a book Ive been searching for f ou r months at face value, comic selection isnt huge but its a good one, was finally able to get magic #1 hidden planes walkers cover (huge stock right now) they have critical role comics which hard af to find staff is great knowledgeable and helpful

There are toys here - toys, toys, and more toys. Many, many toys, so many. A numerically significant amount of toys! And they are all types and sizes. Big huge toys and really tiny toys. There are even the biggest toys possible, like the life-size Hulk that greets you right when you walk in. Or, I suppose, that should be a “BIGGER-than-life-sized Hulk” …because it’s the Hulk, of course. I mean, let’s get it right!There are comics, too. A big, long wall of new and near-new comics, well-tended – that’s a good sign. There are lots of trade paperbacks from Marvel and DC, and some volumes (but less) from the smaller publishers. There’s a good section of used comics, easy to reach, and well-organized. There’s a bunch of discount comics - always appealing - and there are multi-packs for affordable prices. There are some Silver and Bronze Age comics on the wall behind the counter, with a sign that reads, “We Have More… Just Ask!”Hero Headquarters has comics for kids, too. In fact, I think this store is one of the better ones for kids. There are no offensive or questionable posters on the walls. The store is clean and well-lit. It’s crammed full of interesting items, but it’s still spacious and roomy. It’s nicely organized. In fact, there’s not a lot an unsupervised or poorly-supervised kid could do to make a mess or cause trouble. Some comic stores are disaster waiting to happen! Not this one.It’s kid-friendly, as the saying goes. There’s not a designated “kid area” like some stores are able to provide. Still, I think a slightly nervous or suspicious suburban mom (apologies for the cliché…) would be quite happy to bring in a young customer or two. At any rate, it seems sure that this store has lots of faithful customers.

This is not your typical comics store. While they definitely are run by nerds who will always know more than you and fits the cliche to a tee, they also have the coolest figures I have seen! Super cool store packed to the gills with a small comics selection but a TON of toys. Worth a stop in, even if you are just window shopping.

It is the best comic book store Ive ever been to. It has a whole lot more than just comics. They have many different scale models and characters. They have a great service where you let them know what youre collecting and they save them for you. You then go down and pick them up every couple of weeks or a month is good. The owner and his family are the kindest people on earth. They are honest and care about their customers.

Been here a few times Sold a couple figures once and have been in twice to make some action figure purchases the owner is super friendly and the store is full of lots of cool stuff my only complaint would be they need to get more horror action figures and some rares to I would be there once a week if so!

Very friendly ownership and staff manage an incredible collection comics and vintage toys. My boys bought a 10 pack comics for $10 and each bought a Jenner Star wars figure from the eighties for about $15 each. Definitely worth a visit if you are you serious collector or a casual enthusiast.

So, my boss was having a rough day, and I figured Id pick him up something to brighten his week. Hes a Thor fan (his dad gave him a Thor comic when he was a kid), so I was looking for a collectible or something. My luck, couldnt find anything, so I figured Id grab him a graphic novel. Found a reprint of a series from the 70s that had been all released in one book. Turns out that the cover was from his very first Thor comic that his dad had given him (and of course that comic was in the book). He had been looking for that comic for decades and you guys had it (in a slightly different format). Thank you SO much for helping me brighten my bosss week (Pic of the cover is not from the actual book, but downloaded from the internet and is the cover from his comic)! The book I purchased was in perfect condition.

Im from Texas and love to stop at every comic and toy shop when on vacation. Hero headquarters was my first visit and it was nicely set up left with a purchase of $100 purchased the incredible hulk statue and the hulk bank and a funko hulk with a baby yoda aka the kid. Now this message to the owner how much you want for the bigger HULK?😁

Even with high foot traffic the day I was in there I felt like they had time for me. Place is clean as can be. I just wished I had something comparable on my side of the mountain. The prices are very fair in general considering the shipping cost of buying online, might as well buy your staff there and have it in your hands as you do it. This is the absolute cleanest most organized toy store I have ever been in and for that it gets 4 stars. My husband dealt with the owner and said he was very nice and polite, I ended up dealing with Im guessing was his son who was not as polite and kind of gave me the run-around. We still ended up spending $150 here and Im sure we will end up coming back in the future since the outcome turned out very well.

This place is very cool. They have a massive hulk in the middle for the store which is worth a visit alone just to see how cool it is. Tons of comics. If you like comics come to this place. They also have a good selection of toys. One thing that kept me from giving it a 5 out of 5 is their weak selection of funko pops. When I think of those stores I think of them having a good amount of pops and they had a handful. Friendly staff and a cool shop if you are into comics!

$$$$ CHECK THE INTERNET BEFORE BUYING FROM HERE $$$ I walked into this store looking to buy a pack of toys for my 3 year old. I thought being a toy store this would be a good deal. I explained to 3 different employees what I was looking for. I bought a Justice league set for 89.99 that I could have got online for 49.99. I literally returned to the store within 15 MINUTES and they would not return it and would not do anything for me. If your a parent DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID. THIS NOT A TOY STORE, THIS IS A STORE FOR DISPLAY!!!
