I purchased a back tail light for my truck. Online it was $59. When i got it from them it was $160. I know people have to make a living, but this lets me know that it is at my expense and it may be in my best interest in the future to find and fix it myself with these prices. Customer service is decent but was hoping for better pricing from tbis place.

I needed some work done on my truck but after a quadruple bypass I am limited to the work I can do. Dan and his crew took excellent care of me and went above and beyond delivering my truck after the work was completed. I have used Rt 22 before and I will continue to use them in the future. Route 22 Service Center is my new go to mechanic. They are professional, courteous, and customer service oriented. Pricing is very fair and transparent. They are big enough to be professional and fast, yet small enough to be personal and feel like a local mom and pop shop. They offer local shuttle service which is very convenient and they are flexible on scheduling. Every time I go, I feel confident they did the job right the first time. Overall a great job done!

This place is awesome!I didnt have an appointment and needed a sticker, but they managed to get me right in and out without the normal hassle Ive had with ANY other mechanics shop.Staff was friendly and attentive (no foul language coming from the garage or rough edges with these guys), while being professional and actually teaching me a few preventative measures that I have never been told by any shop before then.I would recommend this place to anyone that had bad experiences with garages before or that wants a respectable, down to earth, professional working with them to work on their vehicle.Thanks guys! These guys were wonderful! I was traveling for work at the busiest time of the year and realized I needed an inspection. They were able to get me in the next morning and were very quick! Could not be happier!

The crew at Rt 22 provide quality and affordable repairs. They effectively handle even the most technical and complex repairs. Dan and Tim keep you informed on the progress, and if other issues arise, they always discuss the options and alternatives with you. Rt 22s has very reasonable labor rates and they use quality replacement parts.

After a complete debacle by Tire Warehouse on the East End of Portland (do not go there, Town Fair Tire is much better), I had to scramble around on the day before Thanksgiving to get winter tires installed and get an inspection done. The staff at Route 22 Service Center, despite being completely inundated the day before a major holiday, managed to fit me in and bailed me out of the mess Tire Warehouse put me in. Excellent service is hard to come by, but it seems to be commonplace at this establishment. I will continue to satisfy my automobile service needs at Route 22 Service Center, and will recommend to my family and friends in the area as well as to anyone reading this right now.

Ive left my car in the care of Route 22 a couple of times now and have been satisfied every single time. Theyve always been able to fit me in on the day I needed work, have consistently provided good, fair estimates, and they get my car in and out in a timely fashion! That isnt even mentioning the fact that Ive only ever experienced wonderful, friendly service, with a willingness (and patience!) to explain any questions I had and provide explanations if I was curious about something. The gentlemen over at Route 22 service center are a cut above the rest. Every time I call they are friendly and helpful.I have a weird schedule so if I can not speak directly with one of the mechanics they always reach out and give me a call.Highly recommend!

Recently I had a windshield wiper fly off on my way in to work. I called and spoke with Tim, and he told me to come right over and he would put a new one on for me. I appreciated the fact that they were able to take me right in without having to make an appointment. They are consistently accommodating, kind, and trustworthy. I trust them with whatever needs to be done to my vehicle, whether it be an oil change, or something bigger.

I just moved here and my car arrived from CA on a Tuesday and I knew it needed service before I left. I was looking for a Mechanic close to me that had great reviews and I found them. I needed a oil change and I wanted to make sure it was all cleared for Maine. I called them on a Wednesday and made an appointment for Friday. They were professional when I made my appointment and when I dropped off my car. They were quick in completing my car and when it was done, they explained and went over all the services they completed. I felt that they were honest and the cost was great. I recently went back to have new tires put on the car and still received the same great service. Awesome Team at Route 22. I will be back. Thank you.

Dan and Tim and crew at Route 22 Service Center in Westbrook have been great in figuring out what my Nissan Pathfinder needs and taking care of it in a timely and cost effective manner. I cant tell you how great it is to have confidence in a company that I know is not going to take advantage of me. They are straightforward and dont look to do add ons, which has been my experience in several other local companies.As a mechanically challenged woman, I love being able to tell them that my car is chirping or going clunk clunk in the rear or wherever, and they listen respectfully to figure out the issue. Highly recommend this crew!

We have been taking our car to Route 22 for several years and have never been disappointed with the service. Dans first priority seems to be the safety of our vehicles and at the same time he is always sensitive to our budget. I trust Dans professional recommendations and appreciate the quality of work provided.

Just a heads up:I took my car in for an inspection. Was given a laundry list of things to be done (paid the $18.50). Decided to do the work myself and save some money. I (me and a buddy) completed the work. Returned the car, after a phone call I authorized a half hour of labor. Picked the car up and got the bill. I noticed the $18.50 charge again. So I Inquired. “they typically don’t charge that if you have the work done here. It has been awhile since I have read the Maine state inspection book, I can’t say factually I should not have been charged again. If you do your own work beware. Other than that they appear nice enough people.

This place comes highly recommended by me ... last week they replaced my rear bumper reinforcement which prevents cars from buckling when being hit from behind ...something I was not aware of ...last evening I was rear ended on the turnpike and my car was totaled. I truly appreciate the thorough inspection of my vehicle and these guys keeping me safe on these hectic city highways...I can’t thank them enough

Ive been going to Route 22 for the past 7 or so years and have had nothing but outstanding and fair service. They are always very honest and I never feel as though I am being over sold. Getting dropped off and picked up at my near by work place is a nice bonus as well. Highly reccommend!

Had a stalling problem with with my truck. Very intermittent but no codes were being recorded. Dan and his team checked the truck carefully over several days and finally located a faulty ignition relay.Other places would have thrown parts and $ at it, hoping something worked.
