Philip is not only one of the best pianists its ever been my honor to play with, but his abilities to teach, train, and inspire are unmatched. Over 20yrs of professional music, audio, recording, and producing theres no one more talented and patient that has graced my environment as much. If youre a student of his, you will either be great or youll be good enough for your own pursuits. Truly a master of music and I dont say that lightly. Cheers!

I took piano lessons from Phillip for many years as a kid. I have never met a more patient, kind, and fun person! He would always encourage me to try new pieces, even though I thought I could not do it! He knew exactly how to help me fix any mistakes I would make and I always left lessons with a smile on my face. I highly recommend taking music lessons at this music studio, especially lessons with Phillip.

All 3 of my kids have taken lessons from Philip and his staff here. Philip has a wonderfully positive attitude and is very encouraging (and accepting) for all ages and abilities. He has a strong work ethic and sends out reminders which is a super bonus for forgetful moms like me! Only one thing in our lives that did not change due to the pandemic was piano lessons. His online lesson was continous and seamless. There is no greater joy than watching your child build confidence and skills they once thought they could not achieve. Highly recommend!

The owner was very helpful with information when I was getting ready to purchase a new keyboard. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and exceptionally helpful.

The service was poor. The person managing the place had a piss poor attitude upon entering this establishment. No wonder they are closing.

The staff here is amazing! Explanation: When I walked in I was asked if I needed anything and I said I was just looking. No pushy sales or over interest in swaying me. I asked a simple question and I was given full and immediate interest with a well described answer related to services. As I engaged more and asked more questions my enthusiasm was met with descriptive answers and friendly collaborative help. Great store!

Service has been excellent and Jim Hearne is very knowledgeable about instruments and the music world. I bought a new piano that I love, and it was delivered to me, and has been tuned since. I LOVE my new piano.

I started taking piano lessons with Philip in 9th grade, and at that time in my life I wanted to quit music and piano altogether. Not only did working with him reinvigorate my love for piano throughout high school, but with his guidance I was accepted to SUNY Fredonias piano program. After college I worked at North Country Music working the storefront and also as a piano teacher. Without my experiences there I would not have been able to get a job at the Peterson Studio in Highland where I now work full time.

The BEST possible experience I could have possibly asked for in buying my new piano. Very knowledgeable salesperson answered all of my questions and guided my family to a piano that should last our lifetime and then some. Thank you for all of your help! ( we had already been through 2 Craigslist pianos with terrible results and expense.)

Went to look and potentially Buy a piano for my mom at 6pm but the place was closed. Store hours were posted Monday-Friday 8pm closure. Guess they lost our business and well pay money for a piano somewhere else...
