Thank you Jay and all SLSC members for the fantastic experiences you gave me the last two years! The SLSC Staff was truly family to me. You all taught me what right looks like and gave me the tools to be a safe, knowledgeable, and expert diver. I cannot wait to come back and visit or catch you all on dives elsewhere is the US πŸ€™

Our group of 6 Scouts and 4 adults were looking to gain some additional dive experience (since our high adventure Scout scuba trip was cancelled this summer). We are so happy we found Jay and St. Lawrence Scuba. Jay took care of all of us, as if we were his own! He and his team: divemasters Todd and Garrett and newbie diver Josh, planned appropriate dives that were fun and relaxing for all. He let us go at our own pace, handled all gear, and were extraordinarily patient with all of us, no matter our skill level. He even made the day of the younger brother of one Scout who was too young to dive by suggesting he snorkel. He had the best time too! We all had an amazing two days of diving. Jay and his team are full of knowledge about the St. Lawrence and surrounding dive sites and diving overall and generously shared with all of us. We highly recommend St. Lawrence Scuba!

Although I didn’t shop at St. Lawrence Scuba, I dove with one of their associates - Ed Ramos. Ed is courteous, professional and obviously enjoys sharing his expertise in diving. His patience and attention to detail boosted my confidence as a diver just reaching 20 dives. I felt very safe and secure with him and I also had a lot of fun. I want to take some lessons with him because he explains things so well.

Fantastic shop. Jay is extremely knowledgeable about everything scuba. Can provide training from beginner through instructor. The staff know the St. Lawrence and it’s best dive sites and shipwrecks better than anyone. If you want to learn to do it right or just looking for a great boat charter this is the place to go.

Nice shop. They took the time to get me set up in the correct gear so I only had to purchase once. Their instructors were extremely informative and preached safety in a fun learning environment. Looking forward to taking some more advanced classes from them

Jay and the folks at St. Lawrence Scuba are just die-hard divers, and they make you feel like youre part of the family. There are some challenging conditions in the St. Lawrence and its good to dive with people who have been there and done that.Highly recommended.

Great shop! I’m not from the area and they helped me to connect with other divers and get back out diving after being out of the water for too long. They are a great place to go for gear service and inspections and spent a lot of time with me to make sure I ended up with the right gear setup for me when I needed to replace my old stuff. Even though I had been diving a long time, I learned a lot from taking classes at this shop and diving with the shop staff. Their charters are a great way to spend a summer day!

My daughter and I took a class this winter and had a great time. For her it was her first time, for me it was a refresher after being out of the water for the last few years. The instructors were great working with my daughter and making her feel comfortable under the water. I also was able to learn a lot of thing from class that were different than I was taught and very helpful. The shop is small but well set up. They have a lot of stuff and make sure what you want will fit correct. They are very open to questions and helping you get your gear set up. The owner is very up front if what you have is unusable or if it is good enough shape to do the job safely , but will also tell you if there is a better setup without being pushy just to make a sale. I haven’t had a chance to go on one of their charters but will comment on it after I’ve had the opportunity to dive one of them this summer.

Always great service and selection from St. Lawrence Scuba Co. Jay and his team do a great job setting divers up for success diving in the St. Lawrence, whether they are new divers or experienced tech crews. They had no problem custom blending gases to within .1% of my target mix, and had well maintained equipment. They have a great selection of gear for sale and rent, to include hard to find specialty gear. They are wonderfully thorough on their service and cleaning, and even took pictures of my gear and contacted me before doing the necessary service. Ive since moved away, and I still bring my gear back into town because I simply dont trust anyone else to do the level of work that Jay demands from his staff. You cant go wrong with diving with St. Lawrence Scuba Co.

Great dive shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wide selection of gear and certification levels available at competitive prices for quality equipment and training. Would recommend this shop for any experience level diver or those looking to get into the sport. They offer tank inspections and cleaning services, and they just got a new compressor in at the shop so they can fill air, NITROX and other gas mixes. Close to Drum and military friendly...thats how I found them!

St Lawrence scuba has a diverse selection of diving gear. The guy that owns the place is extremely knowledgeable about what he sells.Out of the many thousands I’ve spent in his shop I can’t think of anything that hasn’t been exactly as he advertised it. He teaches SCUBA and also does charters so he’s always in the loop on the newest and cutting edge gear and practices. If you’re looking for a place here in northern Ny to get up front and honest information and service St Lawrence SCUBA is the place.

As a NAUI Platinum dive center, St Lawrence SCUBA instruction is top notch. They provide classes from basic to advanced open water with several entry level technical classes. They have a great gear selection and take the time to get to know you and the type of diving you plan to pursue and assists you in tailoring your gear to meet those needs. St Lawrence Scuba also has a full service dive charter, running some awesome trips out to the wrecks of the St Lawrence. Military friendly and close to Fort Drum, the home of the 10th Mountain Division!

As a PADI diver since 2004 I was not sure what I was in for. However I am very open minded so I came in to explore. I will say that everyone that I have ever encountered were some of the best dive buddies and professionals that I could hope for. Everyone is knowledgeable and upfront. The prices are very reasonable even compared to on line prices. Best of all I always feel that I am getting the best knowledge of what works for diving the local area. This is the type of place that I like doing business with. Keep doing what your doing.V/RMarcin

Ive been diving for years. I dont usually write reviews about stores but I feel this is an occasion that warranted one. Simply put, unbelievable store! When you walk in youre welcome with a clean, straight cut display of the items they pride themselves in selling and the items they stand behind because they themselves use these products. There is no clutter, no mess its an easy overview store. Professional classroom and presentations. The classes they offer are well taught and well beyond what I learned years ago. No detail is left untouched. The amount of attention given in a class to every student was amazing.I have proudly called myself a diver for over ten years and can say that I have been humbled in my experiences in the water after dive #1 with Jason. His passion for teaching and safety is uncommon for this area and I have learned so much from him. I have dove numerous times with Jay and will continue to do so with confidence. They are the top of the Scuba food chain hands down. I would highly recommend The St. Lawrence Scuba Co and any advice they have for me or any level diver. Please join our family and enjoy the Blue Feeling with us. See you on the water!
