Let me preface this review by saying I’ve only shopped here once and it was for a gift for my friend, so my single experience may not be the norm here, and I dearly hope it isn’t.After the cashier rang up the $3 plushy my friend wanted in clearance. They mentioned to my friend (not the card holder) that there was a rewards card they could get to get a discount. I don’t recall how much the discount was, nor do I remember them asking me if I wanted to pay for an additional service. As far as me and my friend knew this card was free. I do however remember seeing a charge in my bank account for 11.99 from something called “FYE VIP”. Spoke to a person named Maria on the phone after my card was charged 11.99 for a service neither of us asked for. It’s now a week later and I got my money refunded. Although Maria at the call center made this right, her etiquette does not represent this FYE in particular, or the way the cashier sneakily added a reoccurring charge to my bank account to increase sales. Because of this I’ve given the rating of 2 stars. Maria at the call center- 5 stars.TLDR;Watch out for fast talkers looking to boost sales. They will try to sign you up for a reoccurring charge for a “FYE VIP” without telling you it costs extra if you pay with card. Thankfully if you go to their website and call the support line, support can help you get a full refund. To avoid headache I’d recommend paying in cash if you must go here, otherwise most their merchandise can be found online for much cheaper if you don’t mind waiting.

Awesome place and the workers were wonderful.

Do not sign up for the store card. The cashier WILL lie and claim theres no charges associated, however you WILL receive several charges after the fact without ever providing consent.

Hate it there for the bare minimum purchase would require your address email and phone, for items seriously over priced

Great customer service. Definitely one of the go-to stores for collectibles. Prices are higher on some things (trading cards especially). They do require masks (no surprise), but Im rarely in the store for more than 10 minutes.

Decent selection of a wide variety of characters and fandoms. Definitely worth a look if youve never been there... seems like theres always something interesting and fun!

Love FYE! Incredible finds on movies, music and collectors items! Clothing and treats are pretty awesome too! My entire family can always find something they love there and we all have different taste. And their prices are always really good! Check them out!

I like this store alot. One because Im a nerd and love everything in it, and two because Ive had nothing but good experience with the staff. Really sweet people, even when making returns theyre fast and super nice.

They have tons of cool stuff. Stuff you would really like. But I saw that everything is WAY too pricey. Much of the stuff you can find at Ollies Bargain Outlet for much cheaper. But the staff are nice and friendly.

Friendly staff and the store itself is perfectly designed. Theres actually room to move around. Always an enjoyable experience!

Less gothy more expensive hot topic. Of you need nostalgic dvds or record albums its a great store. $21 for a T shirt is too rich for my blood.

FYE is a good place to find movies, music and more and the staff is very polite and helpful.

Most stuff there is overpriced especially when it comes to snack items but otherwise no other problems.

Very deceptive advertising. Says all used DVD 1 dollar, with below buy 2 get one. The manager says, nope it is buy 2 at full price get one for a dollar!! You should be ashamed to be using this type of advertising!!
