Had vehicle towed there and let them know that there was a squealing noose coming from the engine and it would not start again after we shut it off but we had gages and lights so we knew it wasnt a battery issue. Technician swore it was, replaced battery but refused to look further into said issue. Was told it was safe to drive home, died that same day and the same above issue had towed to a more knowledgeable and QUALIFIED mech

Sold my baby to these liars who only gave me 6k outta my vehicle. Lied saying they were gonna fix it thats why they couldnt give me 7k for it before putting up for sale. They didnt fix it. There is alot wrong with my car an they are asking 11k for it. Its a 15 dodge dart. Stay away from it! Recommend staying away all together. Looked at a 07 explorer that had a blown head gasket they were asking 8k for that too. No dealership should be lying to there customers.

Dawn Tomson at Rydell Chevrolet in Waterloo is the sweetest sales person out there!! I went in knowing what kind of SUV I was looking for and she accommodated to my needs and wants perfectly. I told her where I wanted to be monthly for car payments and she matched that to a tee!! She wouldn’t let me leave the sales floor without feeling comfortable with my SUV and my monthly payments! She wasn’t pushy and made me feel so welcome and at home!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Took my vehicle in for a scheduled brake job and they had no idea why I was there. While I was waiting, I heard associates speak down to female customers at least twice. When my vehicle was done I was never told; I saw my car sitting outside and approached the cashier about it. She went to garage about it and they, too, were confused and finally told her to just give me the printout. No one seems to know where my extra key fob is, either. Waterloo Rydell REALLY needs training in customer service.

Absolutely superb service! At the end of March 2021, I purchased a 2020 Equinox and Im loving my new vehicle. When they say, Noboby Sells Like Rydell, they couldnt be more right. Working with Tom H. and Jordan S. was simply the best! They assisted my family and I with every detail as that I conducted an out-of-state purchase. My transmission went out in my 2014 suburban in February while traveling away from my home. How fortunate I was that Missy from Rydell Chevrolet picked up the phone when i called the dealership. She made arrangements to have my car towed to the shop and I was given a loaner car drive till my transmission was replaced! Robert the customer service rep. Jim the customer service manager, took great care of me! Im not an easy customer and I know that. In fact Im a pain in the rear!Regardless of that statement Ryan, Beau & Kyler did a great job working with me . My salesman Beau was never pushy and didnt rush me through the process. Kyler in finance was great with the numbers and explaining every thing and got me where I needed to be for the deal. Ryan the GSM was a straight shooter and did a great job helping close the deal and made me feel like I made the right choice. I couldnt be happier with my new 2021 Silverado 1500 Custom. I plan to continually service it at Rydell, purchase a few accessories at Rydell and someday sell it back to Rydell for a newer Silverado. I have been trying to get the same recall part fixed for three months. I was called and told I need to bring my car in for a recall in November. I got there and everything was extremely disorganized and they ended up not having the part for the recall they called me to schedule. Three months later and I was finally called in to get the recall completed. When I arrived I was told it would only take 45 min. I was confused because I had been told 3-4 by multiple other people. I had already arranged a ride so I explained I would be back at 1 to pick it up. Note that I dropped my car off at 8am. I arrived back at Rydell at 1:30 only to find out my car was still not finished. 5 1/2 hours later. No phone call or communication about that fact that I was correct and it was the 3-4 hour recall or anything. I am fully frustrated with Rydell and will not be returning for any other services on my car. The personnel is extremely unprofessional and disorganized.

I recently purchased a vehicle at Rydell and it was an exceptional experience. What really made it special was our salesman Denver. Were a one income family and have been hobbling our two old cars along for a while. We decided it was time to invest in a decent car. Our SUV is in the worst shape so we decided to look for an SUV. We went to many dealerships with a very specific set of things we needed/wanted for our purchase. So many dealerships employed pressure tactics that made me want to give up our search.That was not the case with Denver at Rydell. He was patient and so helpful. There was no pressure to pull the trigger and when we looked through the vehicles in stock that matched our criteria he said he would call us when something else came in. We were able to get everything we wanted in a vehicle and for only $700 over our budget.The best part of getting the car was that only a few days earlier a salesman trying to get me to settle said there wasnt a car out there that fit my criteria. Guess he was wrong. A few days after I got the car the front brakes felt weird I took it in and the replaced my pads and rotors free of charge. I felt so well cared for and really valued. We wont shop anywhere else in the future as long as this continues.Thanks for helping my family get a safe car with low miles!

Well definitely need better managed quick lube, as there not so quick, only had two vehicles ahead of me, as they were pulling in one, so really only had to wait for the one just ahead of me to be pulled in next, it opens at 7 am, I got there at 7 15, took till 9 30 b 4 they were done. I understand they seem through to check everything on a vehicle, but shouldnt take them 2 hrs, yes they did a good job topping off fluids an what not, but I think its called a quick lube to get customers in an out on limited time ! Thats why we dont make apps, so its suppose to be a in an out type service !

On our last visit we were advised that we only needed new brake pads, nothing was mentioned about new rotars as well - once we had the car in to get the two new sets of pads on, again, no one mentioned that new rotars were needed. The next day my wife heard grinding, metal on metal - we took it back to your shop where we were then told we needed new rotars and that added another $300 plus that we had not expected during our initial inspections. This is not acceptable. Mechanics need to let the customer know these things to make an informed decision then, not once they are back on the road and additional damage could be made to the vehicle. I do not think we will be coming back for repairs or future car purchases. Hope future customers are treated better than we were.

Bought a Chrysler Town and Country. I immediately took it to my mechanic after driving it off the lot. Upon a quick inspection I found out the alternator needed replaced $320 and he said he could get it in the next morning. When I drove it to C.F. after picking it up after driving that distance I noticed my van was decelerating more than normal. I then smelled burning so I immediately pulled over. Smoke was coming off both the front brakes. Both calipers seized up as they got hotter(my mechanic determined this later).So I get my 1 and 4 year old out of the van and then called a wrecker. I then called Rydell and spoke with General Sales Manager Ryan Buhr and explained the situation. He said find a mechanic of my choice, have the work done, and they would be more than happy to reimburse me for the the work done. He told me to email him pictures of the receipt and they would send out a check. Well almost 2 weeks go by and no communication or check. I go to Rydell and speak with Ryan. He claimed to never have gotten the email so I resent it. He then said he would send me a $300 check instead of the $641 to cover the bill. Dont offer to completely reimburse somebody you DONT plan to. Also I used my personal mechanic who is the cheapest and most quality mechanic I know! You need to do better Rydell Waterloo and if you say youre going to do something, do it!! I am currently unemployed and struggling to make ends meet and the extra 300 or so would not have set them back at all.

Had a leveling kit installed. 20 miles later 3-4 lights came on. Abs, traction control, trailer brake controller, and another one. Truck also pulls significantly to the left.Couldnt drive the truck all weekend and then have to find time to take it back there and then pick back up. Its just a pain in the ace. Would expect better service from such an big outfit. No apologies or compensation for my time or for having to find another vehicle to drive all weekend. All I got was thats a common issue when we do that? If its common wouldnt you prevent it from happening??

Brandon was very patient, informative, and answered every question I had a long the way. .Nowadays, it commonly seen that car salesmen can be too aggressive and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet.
