I’ve been working with Restaurant city for years. I love their no haggle pricing and their inventory selection so you can walk out with exactly what you need. Their staff is knowledgeable and have pointed me in a better direction in more than one occasion.

They are not nice people at all!!! They get your money once and treat you like trash! I had a $3000 credit from a deposit and that was the worst mistake I ever made! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! Customer Service is Everything! Can’t treat your customers like garbage.

Mostly the cheaper, lowest quality Made in China items. You wont find Made in USA Cambro containers, just the Made in China WinCo knockoff. You wont find solid quality serving spoons, just cheap import spoons with no heft. They stock some of the Volltrath pans. Not a very good selection overall and as noted, the focus here is price not quality. If you are looking for Winco, this is your spot.I did not look at the fixtures so not sure how those are. Service was friendly and attentive and not overbearing.

This is the BEST place for kitchen and restaurant supply in CT! It is definitely a warehouse: youre not paying for their overhead and they will definitely give you a competitive price on items great and small PLUS the personnel are AWESOME and make you feel like family. I swear the person who helped me knew the name of every customer who came in! Maybe not all 8,000 restaurant owners in CT came in while I was there, but my point is that there is a knowledgeable and caring person behind every purchase, there to make sure you succeed.

If I could leave no star I would. Joe sold us a warmer that was not appropriate for what we told him our usage would be. He said it would be perfect. $560.00+ later it was not really made for that function. Called the company and they would not take it back and gave us the runaround. And they had to call the company that made it because they didn’t really know its functioning abilities. Worst company to deal with. Very shady. Never go there for supplies. They will tell you anything you want to hear for a sale. No customer help whatsoever! Beware when you go into their store. You will get ripped off!!!!

The Warehouse is an extremely impressive company. They are very professional, have a massive selection and always get things done right the first time. I highly recommend that everyone in the industry should use them.

This place is a scam and horrible services, they were recommended by my business realtor as a company to go to for my bakery equipment . The service to rendering drawing took two month to get; when I did receive drawing it was lacking, took several follow up callas and email to even get restaurant spec. When I did get quote for equipment it was wrong. I didn’t know all the services issues so went ahead bought a table from them back July ( keep in mind table was only $530.00) which I have on receipts they would hold for me til October . I had another driver from another company go by today to pick up the table with original receipts and me on the phone with Jessie (employee of warehouse)would not allow the driver to pick up the table since it was another company. He said. And I quote” we will not release your paid in full product to our competitors equipment paradise regardless if you paid for the product unless I was there in person knowing I live two hours away from the store )? . I can not believe how petty and vindicated this company is ( I already paid them $2,000 for drawing rendering)? because I did not purchase most of equipment with them they refuse to release the table I already paid for in full without me present although the driver has the original receipt and me on the phone allowing for release . They refuse to let me talk to manager or owner and even though nothing in their receipts or contact states the original purchaser needed to be physically present to pick product which was already paid for in full. I will be reporting them to consumer report and the better business . What they did was illegal ! That is how they treated me as a customers because we did not purchase full equipment even though I already 2k on the rendering. Shamefully!!! Shame on them for being so petty and vindictive as a company!!!!!!!!!!Response to Brad- I told Jessie I would write an email to Al or David to release the table but his responses-I needed to physically be at the store besides the email ; regardless there is nothing written in your receipts, website or anywhere in company policy regarding that only certain people/ driver or any wording pertaining to whom can pick up items once it has been purchase and paid for in full. It is petty because I choose to spend my 30K at another store. because your quote for the same item was 10K more than your competitors and because of the bad services I received I went some where else to buy my kitchen equipment, I spent 2k already at your store worst money spent and as a business owner my self I would have apologies or asked what we could have done better regarding services. Instead your store refused to release product I already paid for and I would been more than happy to give written permission ( which your person said he would not accept ) and on another note Jessie also told me he would not refund the money for the table and would not release the table. So lets not pretend a written notice would of released the table; your people where petty and wanted me drive 2 hours and have me pay for another driver to pick the table because I complained about services. where note below about written notice does not wash.

They have bailed us out of countless situations where we needed a specific piece of equipment or small wares on the fly, sometimes delivering it to us on their way home if necessary (if it fit in their car of course!).Not only do they have the largest inventory of equipment and small wares on hand that I have ever seen, making it easy to make a decision on a piece because you can actually see it, but they also will stock new items for you if they know you will be re-ordering it on a regular basis.We have done two major renovations in the time we have worked together and their expertise in design and equipment is second to none. We spent countless hours together sweating over the plans and David was very patient in accommodating all our changes, ultimately giving us the kitchen that fit our specific needs. Its amazing. My story is just like the other review. I was browsing for table tops for my restaurant. Mgr said he didnt have a catalogue. He recommended that I bring sample tops to the restaurant. I found it odd that they made me purchase them first. I purchased $1000 worth of several different style with the obvious intention of returning all or most them when I made a choice. A few days later , I tried to return them and was told that I could only get store credit. The woman at the counter was extremely unemotional, and disrespectful. I asked for the mgr. the same guy who encouraged me to bring samples reinforced her claim that I could only receive store credit. Thieves. Stay Out. I dont ever want to spend another cent there. Nice customer service.
