Brought my nephew to D.C. for the first time and knowing we wanted to see as much as we could I decided to rent some scooters. Well with out a doubt this was a great idea, we were able to get to places that by foot could have been agonizing in the summer heat. DC Scooters were awesome and I believe the fastest out there. Highly recommend not just for seeing the monuments in a quick fashion, but also it was a lot of fun.

Let me start off by saying this is a WAY better alternative to renting the scooters on the street. First of all, these scooters have NO zone restrictions (just stay within D.C obviously). Just a matter of taking the scooter wherever you desire, and return it within the time you paid for. If you want to explore D.C and have fun doing it, you cant go wrong with this. Saw all monuments with this thing in just shy of 2 hours. Quick, simple, easy and most important FUN!

The BEST!! This is the way to go. Scooters are fully charged. We went for 3 hours and no issues at all. Great service! Great way to see a lot of the city!! Dropped 3 scooters to our hotel and when you are done riding, you just leave them. Will definitely do again.

Great experience! Our scooters got stolen and they were so helpful in tracking them and meeting us with new scooters so we could get the whole experience. Since we were trying to find our scooters for an hour, they gave another hour of rental time for free. If we’re ever back in D.C. we will definitely be coming back for them!

Wow, what a GREAT way to tour DC with the family! We (myself and 4 kids, ages 11-17) rented five scooters and did our own mini tour of all the monuments. It was so easy. Greg met us at our hotel, unloaded the scooters from his truck, and we were on our way. He stayed in communication with us all day as we locked and unlocked the scooters at various locations. We had a blast! We will definitely rent again from DC Scooters the next time we are in town. As another reviewer said earlier... great service, great prices, great time!!!

The best way to site see for sure! I would definitely recommend DC Scooter. They made things super easy & convenient! You just set up your scooters on line and you’re good to go. The scooters are delivered right to you. We weren’t exactly sure where we were going to end up at the time we requested them but DC Scooter kept in contact with us via text messages and met us at our location. I would definitely use them again!

Excellent! This is THE way to see DC. We definitely had the faster scooters in town. So many people I saw struggling trying to figure out the scooters you pick up on the streets downloading apps to gain access. We picked our scooters up from a shop but had the option of having it dropped off to us. Just an all around amazing experience and so glad I planned ahead and went with DC scooters over any other company!

While my husband and I was visiting DC for the 1st time we rented 2 scooters from DC Scooters. It was awesome!! My husband and I took our 9 year old to DC this past weekend. We decided to rent three scooters from dc scooters for two whole days because we wanted to be able to get around and see as many places as possible. My daughter was so excited that she was able to have her own “mini Segway”. The scooter was so easy to handle, and we were able to bring them straight into our hotel room to charge overnight. Such a fun experience. Took my 9 year old and we went and visited the monuments and museums. We rented 3 hrs but next time we will do longer Wasn’t enough time to enjoy everything. They were really easy to use my 9 year old had no issues. He already wants to do it again

Awesome family experience! We came to DC last year & couldnt find any scooters that we could rent multiple units for our family to enjoy. I believe this is the only company that will allow you to rent multiple units at once. Greg met us & was prompt, professional, & made it an easy & enjoyable experience for us. Absolute best way to get around DC and look at all the monuments/memorials. I was having a problem initially and called the phone number and someone picked up right away. He worked it out and I got on the road my family had a great time. I’ll definitely use them again.

We picked up at the shop, didn’t prebook, but Greg was very accommodating and after a short 15 minute wait he was able to get us 5 scooters. It was well worth the wait! He was a nice guy.

Much better scooters than the green and white ones that are scattered about the city for pickup through an app. Excellent way to see the sights. Best to schedule in advance through the website or phone. We struggled with the app but the owner took care of that for us after we booked through the mobile website.

We had a blast with these scooters! We got to see and explore way more of the city than we thought. They even delivered right to our hotel! We tried some other scooters that weekend but they didnt compare! We will definitely be using DC Scooters again.

Greg is great to work with! The more hours or days you rent the better the price per hour. Rent more pay less. He will work with you the longer your rental.. We were in town for 9-days on vacation, time is everything. You could spend your time trying to plan and land at each location by Metro but very time consuming and never exactly where you need to be, plus walking for hours on ending will wear you down. We rented the DC scooters for multiple days. Rode from AC-hotel Marriott K and 7th to National mall top to bottom side to side. Rode to spy museam and back. Rode to White house visitor center and Georgetown harbor historic district and the national cathedral and back. The best thing is you stop at the front entrance to everything, use a bike lock provided to secure your scooters and when your done hop back on your DC scooters and head to the next desired locations. We seen more things in one day on scooters than you could do in 5-days walking our depending on hoping off and on the Metro train, bus our taxi. We grab Uber to do laundry at the mat, visit George Washington Mt.Vernon estate and to and from airport and scooters everywhere else. Scooters are worth the money because your time is worth the money. Do more in less time and energy. Schedule a delivery or pick up at his location. DC Scooters are AWESOME!Thanks Greg.

Greg was fantastic to work with! He gave my 10 and 8 year old time to learn the Segway before we took off. My husband and I used the scooters, and there is a noticeable difference in the quality and ride of DC Scooters versus any other scooter youll find in DC. The location is convenient to all of the hot spots(Capitol Building, Library of Congress, White House, Justice Building, National Mall, etc). I would highly encourage booking 3+ hours. I had a blast with DC scooter. The Segway and scooter were awesome. You can see all the landmarks in DC fast. What would take all day and lots and lots of walking and exhaustion you can do in an hour or 2. DC scooter was the funnest part of the trip and the best way to tour DC. The owner is great and helped us get started in just a few minutes.

We had a little trouble finding him at first but then he was friendly and accommodating even when we were late returning and due to a dead phone, werent able to call easily to let him know we were going to be late. He was still friendly and understanding. I would definitely recommend him.

DC scooter rental was so fun! Ive been to DC so many times but this was my first time touring around the are on this scooter. I loved it and wil definately be doing this again!

THIS is a MUST when visiting DC! Forget about guided tours and Uber scooters that you have to find laying around and kick start. Or bikes you have to work way too hard to pedal. DC scooters lets you take your mini segway and go WHEREVER you want! Stop and easily lock them with the app to go inside a building if you need a break. Them hop back on and see everything!Our 12yo LOVED these! Of course us adults did as well. He showed us how to use them and took time to make sure everyone in our group was comfortable and off we went. Theyre so much fun to ride, theyre small and agile. We had no problem maneuvering the sidewalks etc. We went all the way to the Lincoln memorial, White House, national mall, capital building, WWII memorial, EPA, Washington Monument and more in just the 3 hour rental...Highly recommend!

Hands down the best experience I have had exploring DC. I was able ride around and not have to worry about parking.NOT to mention I never have to worry about about my scooter security because I locked it outside with the app and bike lock that dc scooter gave us. We went to all the museums and Arlington national cemetery. Great range, we rode all day!

I’m a DC local and dc scooters is ideal for a commuter like me who works close to home and pays for parking which is very expensive. This a great alternative and more cost effective. Plus they are fun to ride and cuts the time my commute by almost half because of traffic. I recommend these to all commuters who live fairly close to work.

We were the envy of a LOT of people while riding these amazing scooters around DC. All 8 of us rode one.. even our 10 year old daughter. Had a police stop and tell us, under16 cant ride. We asked another police and he said theres no rule like that. Just stay on the sidewalk! It was perfect 👌! Greg was a great guy to work with. Great communication. He met our schedule and responded to our scheduling changes with no problems. He dropped the scooters ( 7 of them!) at our AirBnB in the Capital Hill neighborhood and picked them up when we were done. Upon delivery he gave easy to understand instructions (although it took some of us a while to get the hang of the scooters). Two of our riders are 60 years old and the other five are between 11 and 19. The kids did great. The old folks had to work at it but had a blast! If you are planning a day of site seeing - especially the Monuments and Memorials theres just not a better (faster, more fun) way to do it. He gave us charging cords but we didnt have to use them, which was good because outlets werent easy to find. We scootered from 11 am to 5 pm without needing to charge but the charge levels were starting to get low. He provided helmets. We brought the kids helmets from home and borrowed one from him. Good thing because one rider took a tumble and the helmet saved a likely Emergency Room visit! These scooters were EASY to ride for 4 of our family and SOMEWHAT CHALLENGING for the other 3 of us. Overall it was a great family event and a super way to cover the distance between Memorials and Monuments and see them all in one day.

I took my grandkids (11 & 9) for an afternoon of exploring the city. It was a terrific way to get around. The learning curve was minimal - even for me!Greg was very accommodating by offering to meet us for pick-up and drop-off.This will not be our only DC Scooter adventure!

This was literally our top highlight while in Washington DC! It was an amazing experience that anyone of any age can do. We had them all day and if we were not leaving, we would have rented them again. DC scooter is what made our entire trip! First time going to Washington DC and as soon as we got there I realized my daughter and I needed scooters to people to see as much as possible. We called DC Scooter and by the time we finally found a parking space he was there with the mini segways! We ended up living then so much that I rented them for all day and even over night! We saw more then we could have ever imagined in the 3 days we were there! Nothing better than cruising through the national mall walkways on these mini segways at midnight 😁 This was our vacation vacation to date thanks to these scooters. They are self balancing and we both felt very safe and comfortable on them! My daughter is only 11 and I am disabled due to a major car crash in 2013 so that should speak for itself!

Easy pick up near convention center vs trying to find 4 scooters fully charged.

I checked out dc scooter by searching Scooter rental in DC because I was not able to locate 4 Dockless scooters called jump and skip for the rest of my family. I was able to find one for myself, but we needed 4 more - 5 all together. I also had two kids under 12 who weren’t allowed to ride them (according to the app and rules) although I saw tons of kids under that age riding alone or with someone else on the same scooter. Initially we thought to try Do you locate three and put two people on two of them until we found the rest. Seem like the app in the GPS wasn’t accurate and some scooters are also be completely on charged or somewhat damaged and keep in mind I’m in Washington DC where I’ve never been before so this was very confusing and frustrating. So I call dc scooter and they took care of us. They’re SMART Scooters that look like mini segways, were unbelievably easy! It was practical for my wife and I with the heat and she has a bad hip. When I called dc scooter and spoke to Greg, He assured me that this would be the perfect solution for her who is 55 and for me the same age. My kids were under the permitted age for the jump and skip scooters, but Greg made it happen with the SMART Scooter (might want to buy one when I get home to NJ). They were so cool and stylish. They even had a Bluetooth speaker! I strongly recommend to anyone in dc looking to have a memorable experience.

Made a reservation for a 3 hour rental at 3 pm with delivery. Waited at the location for 25 minutes and then decided to drive 10 minutes down the road to the address listed. 1111 Massachusetts Ave is an apartment complex and has nothing indicating that the business is there. Called the number 4 times, left a voicemail and then texted it again. Paid $90 to ride but instead wasted time trying to find the dang place.

A great experience, fun way to see the city.

Got to take my boys as close as they wanted to the monuments. The weather was a bit chilly, but you can lock and unlock the dc scooters with smartphone so we rented for the whole day and took them everywhere. We finished up at 8pm and left them outside our hotel when we were done and they took care of the rest. I admit I was nervous, but was very easy. You can lock with Bluetooth and go inside places and come back out unlock and start riding. One of our Lyft scooters got stolen while I was still paying by the minute on our 1st day. So we did bikes after that until we saw dc scooter. Do it when in DC!
