Visited late Saturday night to get some souvenirs for my family before heading back home in the morning, ASHLEY, GRACE, and MAXINE, treated me and my family very disrespectful and poorly, providing us no help at all and simply stating we had to leave the store. I asked to speak to a a manager, was told “you’re talking to 2 of them,” (not sure which of the 3 ladies cornering me were management) and repeatedly told “yeah get out.” I’d take your money somewhere else, poor managers and lousy staff. It’s sad to come from out of town and be disrespected by a whole group of ladies when we were simply trying to by some souvenirs for our family.

White House Gifts [Shop] is private and for-profit. It sells Seal of the President of the United States in possible violation of the law. (The White House Gift Shop (online only) does too, but it says it was founded in 1946 by Harry S. Truman and mentions a mission that it might still have.)

I really liked this store. They had a variety of nice things at good prices. For example, I got a really nice baseball cap for $10, and some great t-shirts for $13 each. Great place with great prices for DC souvenirs.

Nice gift shop with a large stock of White House and US politics related items. You can probably find same or similar items at a lower price in other shops, but its central location make it very convenient.

It was clean and well stocked and organized. Nothing stood out for or against this store. Had bright lighting and prices were what youd expect. The employees were normal behaving and friendly. Over all just a normal gift shop experience.

I really enjoyed visiting this gift store. I found that there were so many souvenirs I liked but I had to narrow my final selections down. It was very tricky making my choices but I did it! Also got a coupon from the store to take pictures in next door and that was great!

Great place to get souvenirs. Prices are okay, considering the location. I’m not sure about other souvenir stores, but when you make a purchase here, hold on to your receipt because with it you get a free photograph (which is around the corner). You get three options for the background. You get a free photograph per receipt ;)

They had everything I was looking for , including a DC ornament set I could not find anywhere else. Super nice people too.

It has alot of gifts to choose from my favorite was the shirts and the snow globes lol . But if you are a visitor to DC and want something to remember your visit then stop in and get something they have stuff thats cheap and stuff thats not so cheap but worth it and they even got drinks Incase you are thirsty walking around downtown .

I was doing some research on Visitor Centres when I decided to visit the White House Visitor Centre. I was very impressed with the information and the way in which it was presented. I especially liked the virtual tour of the White House and the audio visual presentations. If you cant get to visit the White House (or dont want to) this is a pretty good alternative.

Conveniently located near the White House with lots of fun trinkets to memorialize your trip. Tourist prices expected.

What a GREAT gift shop! I expected the prices to be outrageous, but its one of the most affordable of all the shops in DC.T-shirts & Hoodies were cool, $20-30. Clearance section, great historical pieces & present-day, everything you could imagine has #45 on it.Highly recommend. The staff is friendly and helpful, cool shopping bags when you make a purchase. Heehee, always a +++

Great selection of souvenirs with pretty standard pricing. My only complaint is that they didnt have their tshirts and hoodies labeled by mens/unisex and womens sizing, so you were kind of left to guess.

Nice little store with a wide variety of politically themed gifts. Located a stones throw from the White House. Prices were typical of a gift store in a tourist-centric area.

Do not purchase Red Thread brand T shirts, they shrink a huge amount. An XXL mens, shrank to 44 chest, barely a medium. Id return if it wasnt a 12hr drive.

The gate was closed when we got there and there were protesters.

Overpriced. Very overpriced. The oval office picture opportunity is no longer located in the shop and that was our favorite part. After purchase, we were directed to the photo area around the corner and told it has different hours than the giftshop. We never found it.

Great gift shop directly across from the White House. I was able to grab some great presents for family and friends. The lady at the register was super friendly and helpful. Location, selection and service was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic souvenirs while in Washington D.C.

You can purchase some MAGA hats for your friends as a joke or as a legit political gift, depending on which side of the aisle you lay on!

We came to this store just as about it was closing. But the ladies that worked there let us buy our souvenirs cause we had no other time to that. And i will never forget the hospitality. The store is very well equipped if you are looking for souvenirs this is the place to go.

Too many Camila and Biden stuff

Ive had the chance for only a single visit to this store but was impressed with its content and location. Prices seemed reasonable and there was a little of each taste for everyones political affiliation. The location is close the many landmarks in down town Washington DC. Bus routes have stops near the store and is within walking distance of the ones we saw. S bonus is how nice it is inside on a hot dc day.

This place is too expensive. The souvenir vendors across the street are 75% cheaper and they sell the same or better quality stuff, with more variety. Theres a very pleasant light-skinned heavy set guy named Dave who sells really nice hats, t-shirts and other Trump souvenir stuff at far beter prices than the White House Gift Shop. And he is easier to get access to, being conveniently located across from the gift shop, near the White House. The other tourists love him. I highly recommend Mr. Dave.

Its a wonderful place to go to the White House gift shop had a lot of different things that you can buy from there they had pictures of all the different presidents and their wife and all the different stuff in Washington DC and different places that people have been to and although other stuff that you can see in Washington DC in the White House the White House gift shop has socks ties and I can opener that you can use to open up bottles and beers when you want to drink anything they even have pictures of snow glows with pictures inside of it that you can shake up and you can see all the snow come up to it they had keychains different pictures stuffed animals all the kind of stuff that you can get for souvenirs that you can get for your family and friends and it was a nice good time to go to Washington DC to visit the White House gift shop that had all the kind of sort of things that you can look at of all our presidents and the world I had a great time and the people there was nice and friendly and they will take their time to help whatever you looking for and their hospitality was wonderful and I appreciate everything they did to make us feel welcome there at the White House gift shop and God bless you and thank you for doing what you do each and every day for you can meet there in Washington DC at the White House gift shop store

Been waiting for my hats for over a month nowI had a whole list I was gonna get. Like the 2 bomber jacket and 4 more hats. And 2 throw blanketsSince I havent got my hats Im going to order those if I have to wait for them this long.Sent a email and nothing call you guys say email the best way to get contact. Wonderful place to buy souvenirs for friends when you’re visiting Washington DC. The staff at the counter was very friendly and helpful. There are many products in the store that you can choose from. The location was great as well because it’s very close to the White House.
