This is a great Bike Shop with excellent customer service. The personnel is very attentive and knowledgeable. They put on hold a bike that I really like (w/ 50% deposit-refundable) until I tested on the weekend. I finally got interested to buy the Mtb and Stacey also work on the price for me. Very good and friendly environment, will recommend to anyone.

I agree that this shop caters to the competitive road riding set. But Ive also always found that they are attentive and helpful to commuters, which is a good thing because so many go by the shop. The wrenches are quite good.

Great support and help from service. Gave good advice and didnt even charge for a few small things.

I dropped my bike off at CycleLife on a Monday morning to replace a tire and fix a brake problem. They promised to have it done by Friday and I planned to commute home by bike. I called Friday at 5pm and they said it would be done in an hour. I called a neighbor to watch my kids and waited at work for two hours before giving up and walking home. I called as soon as they opened on Saturday and they said they had not started working on it but it should only take a half hour...Finally got a message that it was done in the late afternoon. Again, I got a sitter to watch the kids, and rushed in to pick up my bike, paying about $50. When I got home I realized that they had only put a new tire on and had not even touched the brakes. I went to Big Wheel Bikes in Clarendon just before closing and they had it fixed the next day.

Manager of this store is a former ENRON exec. Service is now about what you would expect. Lots of promises but no delivery. Had my bike for two weeks without working on it or letting me know what the delay was. Avoid this rat hole at all costs.

Pricey, but backed up by stellar friendly service.
