More of these quaint shops and less big box stores in Georgetown, please! I have shopped here for the last 6 years. Helen has a great eye- incredibly friendly and prices things very reasonably. If you need a unique gift or want something for yourself thats original and fun, swing by!

Really cool shop with carefully selected vintage items. Don’t miss the 99 cent per item shelf in the back!

From my experience as a shopper: Loveliest place! The shop is small but full of all kinds of magical goodies. The owner has really good taste: there is a huge collection of antique jewelry and decorations from designer brands, which you can get at bargain prices. The highlights are those china vases and plates, especially ones at the back that are insanely cheap - I got a nice Victorian-esque pitcher for myself. I’m so glad the owner was kind enough to let us in even after she was about to close for Thanksgiving. What would we miss out!

Is it possible to give it 6/5 stars? I went here right before the owner had to leave for Thanksgiving but she was kind enough to keep the shop open a tad longer so we could look inside. Very attentive and kept conversation with us the whole time we were there.Good selection of both knick knacks and vintage high end items. All in all a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance.

Ive been a loyal customer since 2013 and Im always impressed at the beautiful, classy and diverse merchandise (both new and vintage) for home & garden and high-end fashion clothing designers (from Hermes, Gucci & Chanel to Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, J. Crew -to name a few).My personal consignment experience has also been straightforward and expeditiously done. I get top money back for my consignment items at Georgetown Emporium because the owner continues to prove herself as an honest and trustworthy dealer. The owners passion and dedication to customer satisfaction is so EXTRAORDINARY which makes me feel as if I were her only customer. They frequently notify me of new arrivals that meet my personal interests. Its always a fun time for me to stop by this lovely boutique because theres always something here worth buying.

If you like to be “sized up” and then told there is a $1 section in the back, then this store is for you. Some nice things but not worth the lack of hospitality.

Very nice when first opened, beautiful objects, great finds ! It is, now, completely different,Helen accepts any kind of junk. The shop is small, she should be more selective. I find her a bit obsequious also.

Quite outrageous customer service. They are all nice when youre shopping, but quickly become impossible if you find something wrong after they swipe your card.Do yourself a favor and head somewhere else in a different neighborhood.

Although located in a small space, the store gives off a warm and a cozy ambiance. The shop provides the widest array of items compared to nearby consignment stores. These vary from small trinkets to upscale accessories (e.g. Cartier and Hermes) and handbags (e.g. Gucci and Chanel) to clothing. If you are looking for a wide selection of new and like-new Hermes scarves, this is the place. Helen and her friend made the experience very personal and truly took the time to get to know each of the customers as individuals. Stating that this interaction is refreshing would be an understatement as many of the staff members of nearby consignment stores would not even give you a glance. Throughout the whole experience, never was there a time where I felt pressured to buy anything. In fact, the ladies made sure that I had the opportunity to try on and see items, even if out of curiosity. Helen even took the time to show me the different ways of wearing Hermes scarves. Although she could have easily guided me in the direction Youtube, the fact that she physically showed it to me reflects her passion and her dedication to her customers. Unsurprisingly, I walked home with a Banana Republic wool coat, a J. Crew blazer, and a mink fur headwrap. I wish I had discovered this place earlier while I was a student, but will definitely be back!
