Always enjoy looking for little treasures here and I found a cute cross body purse and met a lovely women in the process.

Went there few days ago and the room where the employees are where people drop donations off. The whole store could here the young men on there smashing people donations on person. They were laughing and saying lets get loud so the customers here us. All you could here was glass breaking.smashing. I left the store and called to speak to managerI told them it was not right for them to be smashing stuff people donated to help others. I was told the store manager was going to be given the info. I highly recommend that you dont donate your items to this savers. Who knows if it will actually be put out on floor and not smashed by an employee because they are having a bad day and want to smash stuff. Very disgusted with this store.

I used to like shopping at this store, but I will not buy clothes from here anymore since they permanently got rid of the fitting rooms and you can only exchange for another product. The new self-checkout is ridiculously slow and only two of the registers will accept cash. Selection of books is still fairly good, but that’s the only positive.

There was NO CASHIER! I do not work for SAVERS. I should not have had to ring out my own purchase at their SELF CHECKOUT. A self checkout station means another OUT OF WORK CASHIER. Know your customers and their priorities. Those self checkout stations are a nightmare!!!

Always dirty. And now they have gotten rid of dressing rooms completely. Just what I want to do , drive home to try it on , and come back to shop and then do it again. Exchange policy is , has to be same price. Always fun finding a matching price tag then finding something Id like.. waste of time. Who wants to spend half the week driving back and forth.

As a Maine boy these new fangled thrift stores is somethin kinda new to me. Yeah we got goodwill(junk stuff) and salvation army. But Savers is like the Target of these beasts. Not to fond of them taking out the fitting rooms though.

Honestly this savers has become awful. I mean sure it was never good, but now its just downright frustrating. They removed pretty much all the registers except for like 2 which usually wont even have a cashier. All in favour of 4 credit self checkouts and 2 that accept cash as well. People arent the brightest, they dont know what theyre doing. They mess it up. Its clunky and slow. It truly stinks, and if youre paying cash have fun waiting if you happen to hit it busy. Its not a good system and im sure affected some employees jobs.

The way employees and management handle customer issues is disgusting. No care, lack or respect and total disregard with customer service provided.

Ive been a Savers customer for many years but I must say whoever is doing the pricing at the East Providence location is out of touch with reality. I understand they need to make a profit but lately its been OUTRAGEOUS! Ex. An old wicker basket in terrible condition marked at $5.99, a used notebook priced at $3.99, a coffee mug $4.99 really??....I walked out disgusted! I used to think the Warwick location was pricey but I will make the drive there from now on.

My 15 year old daughter buys all her books here, and earns points for a percentage off too! According to her, the selection is incredible, she gets 5 books at a time (mostly all hardcovers too!), because its buy 4 at $3.99 and get one free. And she goes there every week with a list and she always finds five from that list! And the points add up fast, and once you get a hundred points you get 20% off. Weve been going there a couple months, and she just today got over her 100th book, and shes gotten 20% off at least twice already. If you have an avid reader in your family, this place is worth it just for that.

As always you can find better deals at savers and almost anywhere else. They clean and sanitize constantly to keep it safe and savers is still the place to go no matter what youre looking for

Call it a high-end thrift shop. Be careful of everything you buy there, because it is there for a reason! Lots of hidden defects, things you dont notice until you get the item home. They only allow returns on clothing and shoes, and it is let the buyer beware on everything else.

Huge selection! Great customer care. Employees are very helpful. Also very very clean inside!!

LOVE SAVERS. Thats where 90% of my clothing comes from. Where else can you get five outfits in a pair of shoes for $60 or less?

They have a good collection of books

It was good to be shopping at Savers again. The store was neatly arranged with all its merchandise. Customers were conscious of safe distancing. The donation area is manned by staff outside, too. I will return for sure for a second go-around. Special shopping hours are 10 am until 11 am for seniors and customers with underlying conditions, and from 11 am on until evening. Check online for more info.

Why are the video game prices higher than Ebay.... you get the stuff for free! Its a shame because they have good stuff but way to expensive for a thrift store.

This use to be a great place for bargains. Went down hill quick they price gauge and they shouldn’t because they get it for free. If I’m going to pay $20 for a shirt or pants I’ll hit Walmart and get it new for $5. Pay attention to the items I have found things that they want more for and it’s priced cheaper from original stores. This Savers is expensive go elsewhere. Just keeping it real. If you want to donate give to homeless directly or your local Salvation Army. Just my opinion. I’ve been a shopper here for over ten years.

Stuff used to be reasonable. Now you can buy new clothes at Walmart or other big change stores for same price or even cheaper. I bought something there and the price on the bottom from another store was for a dollar but they had a price tag for $2.99. Disnt notice until I got home.

Savers is an all around great spot. Most things under 10 dollars including some furniture. However I have seen better prices on older video games elsewhere.

I love savers especially if Im looking for a salt shaker or something weird. And the mens sweatshirts!

This a large store with great selections. It is a busy store, but I have noticed them open additional registers as needed. Always hidden treasures to be found.

Waited 20 minutes to check out. There should be 1 line for checking out and everyone goes in turn to next available cashier. VERY POOR SETUP as it is now

Manager DENISE could not be more rude on the phone. I called because her employee outside yelled at me for where i parked for a drop off donation. Not having done that before I did not see any signage to direct and was out of the way of other cars. A simple excuse me, please move your car would have sufficed.I gave her my name and asked what hers was and she replied why, what does it concern? Guess her employee must have been trained by her. They wont get a donation from me again.

Quite impressive with the way the in/out policy was being enforced due to Covid. Other than that good place for great finds. Ones trash is anothers treasure.

The boys sorting out the donations need to clean up their language, lots of ears listening.The prices are going up, some of the prices are cheaper or equal to brand new.

The prices here have gone up considerably during the pandemic. For example, prices for video games are straight out of ebay prices. Even clothing is priced too high. Pretty sad when brand new Walmart clothing is cheaper than here...buyer beware!

You guys turn one person down let the other one in with no mask I confronted the manager and the worker I drilled into them. cashiers are awesome but if I see those to workers in savers again Im going to give them both a lesson how to treat your customers. And the kid that was greeting people was on his phone. Dont hire dum kids that cant be polite respect your elders and yes I will make sure they dont work there again and I defended the people. And where did they get medical face shields from and there not from Amazon

There is a wide variety of styles, so you never know what youll find. I found my favorite: dress pants, short-sleeved dress shirt, armed pillow, purse, sweatshirt, and one of my favorite jackets. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

Savers is like a box of chocolates, you never know what ya gonna get edit- if I ring out myself as if I work there.. automatic two star drop. Plus you raised prices on blu-ray discs as if its suuuuch a big difference between them and regular DVDs

I knew Savers was bit expensive for a place that gets FREE donations but these past few months they let that get to their head and now bringing prices up even more . I’m trying to find some glass storage and kitchen stuff and was shocked how expensive everything was . All glass jars were like $5 and up .mind you this is all used and still smells . I’m willing to clean everything and that’s why I go to thrift shops so I can save ton of money but I could literally get all of that stuff BRAND NEW at that price . I’m really disappointed and I thought I was hearing things when they asked if I wanted to buy a paper bag. I’m done with any store that is corporate or I’m just sticking to stores that give out sales, cash back, coupons which savers doesn’t even have . ALL set .

This is only the 2nd time I have been to this particular location. In the past 2 weeks I have driven to 3 Rhode Island Savers because the Ma.(where I live) stores are still closed. The majority of my visits are for books and have been having withdrawl symptoms from lack of my regular prospect finding surprises so was happy to hear that the RI spots were open.

Reduce! Reuse! Recycle! Second hand stuff for decent prices. Always something different. Drop stuff off or pick up something unique. I wish they had more sales.

Seeing all of these negative reviews made me sad :( before the pandemic started, i would go to this savers at least 3 times a week, thrifting is a hobby of mine and this location is by far my favorite savers in rhode island. the majority of the employees are super nice, the prices are the most reasonable out of all three rhode island savers, and there are a pretty good amount of vintage items! i miss you, savers!

Very nice staff

This is the 3rd time I have been to this location.i find it to be and extension of high school on the front end. They are too busy talking to each other to help a customer. I waited almost 15 min today for someone to show me items in the locked jewlery case. They never came and I left the store. Wont be back again till the staff acts like they have a job to do.

There wasnt anything put together we were interested in so Carrie took us around the whole store & found items from different departments to put our costumes together. She was very knowledgeable. I have never gone into a store, second hand or not, where we were helped out so much. Shes an asset to your business. We left happy & because of her we will definitely be back. Whoever does the pricing at the Savers in Warwick RI, are out of touch with reality! My goodness, they get everything for nothing and have the audacity to overcharge and not by a little I might add! Items are so over-priced its ridiculous! From furniture, white elephant to books, the place needs a new manager in charge of pricing BIG TIME!

I found some really good deals on gently used clothes I can wear to work. Theres a large selection. Today was very busy being a Saturday so the store was packed with customers and the registers reflected that with long waits which is expected.

I used to shop at this specific location, however I rarely do anymore.They have become expensive. They get the stuff for free, and sell it for too much profit (Savers is For Profit, they give some of it to the community). I feel like they should be a lot cheaper.For instance yesterday I saw a used Yankee candle (with its side hollowed out) for $12.99. The Yankee candle website has some on sale for 14 dollars, brand new.. come on Savers, dont be so greedy!The furniture however are affordable. I did get a small table for a good reasonable price.I have better luck going to Salvation Army. Cheaper, and honestly, cleaner.

My go to shopping spot when I need my mommy time! I always walk out with awesome clothing and great deals. Best of all, the changing rooms are new and improved.... And larger!

Its like a indoor yardsale, where you find cool things sometimes.I dont buy clothing here just Iike to get odd ball stuf. I enjoy the old puzzles, office supplies for my job, random electronics, and the occasional tools.My biggest issue is its a hit or miss place. For every 4 visits Ill walk around and buy nothing 3 times and find something good on the 4th.Also its a fun place to go with friends. Good way to wast time.Prices are normally on the lowest end.

If the item I bought was mis-tagged, it should be eligible for refund, not just store credit. Otherwise, we are paying for the stores mistakes.

There is a older woman with purple hair that works there she is very rude she went up to the person I was shopping with taking rude about me and my friend told me everything so I confronted her the next time I was there she tried to say she never said anything I told her next time I will call corprate office on her and fyi maybe they should give her a drug test !!!!

Absolutely a waste of time, I am going to articulate my words so that i may not sound disrespectful however i will remain honest,I have an interview( countless ) with this company however i believe the process was extreemly messy. i spoke to the HR rec for about an hour and provided false expectations on if the position i was indeed apply and interviewing, stated oh kyle you have the job cant wait to have you join the team, oh boy what a run around. very messy very inprofessional. and very sensitive management.never again. i was a customer for savers for 28 years and i have enough with the dis respect and how dirty the store really is.

One of my favorite thrift stores. Sometimes I think the prices are a bit too high though. But as always, its hit or miss and the selection is well worth taking the time to go through the store. This particular store is very clothing and knickknacks oriented.

Went in here and everything was antiquated, filthy and reeked of cigarettes. Kids clothes were destroyed and the price tags were outrageous and priced as if the stuff was new. I had a greater appreciation if Once Upon a Child.

Floor and carriage and basket wheels need a thorough cleaning as they are loaded with hair and dust and dont move. Aisles are congested. Prices are ridiculously high for used merchandise. Need more registers open during busy times and sales. Donating coupons recently changed from 30% to 20%.weekly color is somewhat of a farce, hardly ever see product that qualifies. 😐

The quality of this location was comparable to other thrift stores in the area but the clothing selection was very picked over in both the mens and womens departments.

All 3 of us had good luck today updating our wardrobes. This is a good one.
