This store has the Newbury Comics Basics with a comparatively small inventory and selection in store. I give credit to Newbury Comics for hanging in there, especially in smaller markets where there really isnt much else left in the area.

Not on time to open the store! A lot of costumers been waiting for them to open it’s 12 past 11 when they should be open on time!!!!!

Used to be better in the 90s and early 00s now its a shell of what it used to be. They dont even have lava lamps anymore.

The story it self was good but one of the cashier was not feeling well and was still working she should have not been there and w could be getting everyone around her sick she should be at home for now or they should close until the person is better.

Clean and polite. Helped me right away with no wait and werent trying to up sell, which is a big plus to me.

Did some last-minute Christmas shopping here last December. I like Newbury comics, its never really tough to find something small to get someone. Im honestly more tempted to get something for myself half the time. And I actually have on a couple of occasions, but at different locations.

The have increased floor space for vinyl which makes me wish I still had my twin techniqes 1200s alas they and my collection went when I went digital. Hold on to your things it seems like they come back into fashion. (Makes me want to cry, I had over 3500 albums and several hundred 45s)

Love this place. Been getting my comic books here for years. You can join the comic club and reserve comics, theyll put them away for you every new issue. Love it!

Prices were high on out-dated used DVDs, and much more for new ones. Newbury Comics will be my last choice, when I simply cant find a product elsewhere. Customer service was nearly nonexistant--I walked in and out without receiving even a cursory glance. They did not seem accustomed to selling.

Great music and movie collection. Staff is always extremely helpful. Lots of quirky novelty gifts. The tshirt selection is also a plus. Posters also. All in all, love this store.

Always like checking this place out when I am in the area. They have used DVDs pretty cheap. If you are looking for a particular title I would call first, because it can be hit or miss. They also have a cool selection of other items (clothing, hats, posters, toys, comics, books, and games) if that is your thing. They are located in a plaza so parking is always available.

One of my favorite place to come to in all of Rhode Island. Their comic selection is massive and they have some awesome prices too.

CD section is not as good it used to be. Still has nice selection of vinyl. Decent selection of DVDs, but light on Blu Ray. Comic section has great collection of graphic novels and decent selection of recent comics, but beware of condition of comics that have been on the shelf longer than a few weeks.

I really like this Newbury Comics. I found a great selection of DVDs and blu rays that I found was lacking at other locations that I had visited. To me this location is only second to the one in Norwood MA. That one is double the size and has a vast array of just about any film, music cd, record or memorabilia that you are looking for. Trust me its worth the trip.

Found a super rare Kpop album, and some sweet comics. Definitely worth looking at if your trying to find a specific comic/manga or a DVD/tv show that isnt on streaming services. Definitely would recommend, but watch for the sales.

One of my favorite places to shop at and they do have a vast selection of comics and a great customer service team. Usually I would come in about once a month and its a real treat.

Oh my god it was so awesome in this store!!! They have so much to offer from the Wizarding World all the way to the Space Age!!! Loved it so much! Would definitely be going back one day!

The store was nice and clean. The CD section has minimal artists. If you need help finding something you will have to ask for help as no one volunteered to help.

Feel like the overall experience and vibe of this place has gone downhill since I was younger. Prices are inflated a lot. Most toys you can get at other store for basicqlly half price, reprinted vinyl of older artist you could get original pressings for way less as well.

Decent selection of DVDs, Music, T-shirts, books etc at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend to others n would go back again

Went to look for album for my daughter had my 2 grandchildren,I was in the store for 10 minutes the man folding shirts makes a comment to another customer and said I dont know why you would bring your children in here. Really keep your ignorant comment to your self.When have you become an Adult only store?? 😡

Secretly one reason I like incense so much. I used to go there a lot when I was younger. Now, I solely go for 2 reasons. Berserk and vinyl. Newbury comics is one of the only places that you can find the later volumes of berserk. The vinyl selection is quite larger except their jazz stock doesnt rotate too frequently for me but they have awesome limited edition pressings of a lot of albums out today. And the people are usually pretty nice and very helpful

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered at a Newbury Comics. The cashier turned her back to me and told her friend about her child wanting a dog and about cats. The other cashier wouldnt respond to me and clearly didnt want to there. She grunted when I put my items in front of her. Will not be back at that one.

Good selection of music, movies, books, novelties, etc. This is a good place to try and find things related to entertainment that you generally dont see at other stores. The pricing definitly ranges from very inexpensive where you would be getting a great deal to very expensive and over priced, it all depends on what your looking for and how common or rare an item may be.

This place has an extraordinary selection if artists as well as a nice menagerie of albums by each artist. Keep your eyes peeled for used CDs i.e. an album thats out of print for a really fair price.
