Best record joint around! Period. New store has a great vibe to it. Always great staff.... Bought a cool Yellow Submarine lava lamp a while back (I called ahead to see if it was still available as it was going to be a surprise for my son ) and it was packed up perfectly and ready to go when I walked in an hour later, and I didnt even pay for it yet ! Great service ! My Son and I stop in almost every Saturday just to poke around and we almost always leave with something ! On the rare occasion we come up empty, the staff is still always incredibly friendly and we inevitably end up having a great conversation.

Great place for finding rare records and CDs for affordable prices! Its always fun to browse around the store and see what cool albums they have. I would definitely recommend this place for any record collector!

The selection is very mediocre and the staff are a little crabby, not to mention that 3 CDs was $37, kind of a buzz kill but still worth checking out

In Your Ear Records has an astounding selection of record albums and covers as well as CDs. What makes them unique is a combine a record store with a music store and also sell speakers record players, and musical items. Theyre located right downtown across from Federal Hill Pizza and several other fun shops and places to eat.

Nice new space on the water and you wont have to fight for parking. Theres a little something for everyone here.

I bought a good used Frank Sinatra album for 8 dollars. Mostly odd cds and if there were pop records they must have been hidden as I never located them. Store location is moving soon. Its unlikely I will ever return. Clerk who opened up was mildly abrasive to those waiting and was 15 min late opening the store. He was kind to one regular visitor however...someone who frequented store previously. I wouldnt sell records here. They seem to only want mint Beatles albums...but then again who doesnt?

Loved the new location, however I will no longer shop at In your Ear. I have been shopping at the record store for years and the past several times have been horrible. The staff is unprofessional and extremely unfriendly.

Fun place, why are they moving?

Id bet this place has the best selection and mix, of new and old (but still in decent shape) records in the area. At first we didnt want to have to drive out of the Providence city proper while there for a visit, but Im glad we did. the other stores we checked out were nice, but this one just had more unique stuff to pick from and all their used records looked clean.

Ive loved this store since it was on Thayer St in Providence in the 80s and 90s. Tons of vinyl from all sorts of genres. A super hip, chill place to buy records.

Great place to look for your favorite record, cd or other musical treasure. My experience was wonderful. The person who helped me went out if his way to find what I was looking for even when he didnt have it. Originally from Boston but he have a Rhode Island spirit

Great indie record and cd store! Been around for years. This one in Warren, RI and another in Boston, near BU. Amazing collection of new and used and the staff is wonderfully knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. You will love it. Bargains galore!

Seemed like an awesome place. I liked this one being in a smaller downtown than in Boston or Cambridge (theres other locations in those cities). Good selection of new and used vinyl and a small variety of musical gear. Nothing seemed too expensive, was out of there with 3 records for about $30.

When ever I have questions about records and music these guys are my local 1 stop shop. They are very friendly and knowlegeble. There collections is excellent as well.

I put together a little Christmas miracle thanks to the help of this place and its fantastic staff. The awesome guy who was working there (the night before Christmas!) helped me put together a fantastic stereo system for my daughter, and I found more vinyl treasures for her, too. This place is a gem.

Friendly folks run the place, which goes a long way. Its a great place to go if you enjoy the proverbial hunt. If you have your heart set on something specific, you may want to call first. Prices are ok, but, as its mostly second hand vinyl, selection can be hit or miss.

Salesperson too busy to help. Guitar was important but not the only customers in the store. Will definitely try other location but will not return here.
