The market is practically a mini Walmart with the range of products sold! It had pots, pans, rugs, nail polish, kitchen gadgets, glassware, and food that was American, Indian, Mexican and probably more. There was a nice selection of fresh vegetables and some fruits. There was also a refrigerated section with frozen vegetables, desserts, meals, and more. Milk, bread, butter, ghee, eggs... You name it, they had it (except thyme, lol, I didnt think they would have it, which makes sense, but since they had everything else, and I needed some, I looked 😊).The store was clean and the employees were very helpful. I called before driving out (I live 10 miles away) and the employee was happy to tell me they carry fresh turmeric. When I arrived, he even took me back to where it is located.

They have lot of food collecting,cashiers in the counter was nice but that person work in the meat counter is so unprofessional.I took 3 fish and when I asked him to cut he said I would have to give $10 dollars for scaling fish.When I told cashier and ask him for manager number they gave me fake number I called there 3 times but no one answered.I left right way with out buying anything.

The employees who work at the main cash counter are efficient and nice. But the employees who work at the meat and fish counter are so rude, inefficient and slow.They keep customers waiting for no reason. I went to the store today with my mom and there was a huge line at the meat and fish counter. The two employees who work at that counter were not there. Me and my mom kept waiting at the counter for 10 minutes and then we learned that the employees have gone to lunch. How can they just go to lunch abruptly, keeping the customers waiting? Thats so rude and disrespectful to the customers.So, me and my mom decided rather than waiting for the employees to come back from their lunch, we better shop for other stuffs and then come back to the meat and fish counter. After we returned to that counter, we saw the two employees came back and they got down to doing their jobs. My mom kept calling one of the employees but he kept ignoring us.They have a bell at the counter. So I thought i better push the bell to grab his attention. I kept pushing the bell but he was busy cutting meat. There was also another employee who was doing nothing but he didnt even respond to the bell. So i stopped pushing the bell after 2-3 attempts. And then the employee who was busy cutting meat came up to me and said Sir, you should not have pushed the bell and distracted me. Its very risky. I could have cut my fingers. we have to be extremely careful while cutting meat with that machine.He was ignoring us from the beginning and then he made me feel like it was my fault that i pushed the bell. How am i supposed to make him listen to me then?Also, one of the employees over there has a hard time hearing and comprehending what people are saying to him. Avoid going to that meat and fish counter if you can! They should replace these 2 employees ASAP!

Very nice place to shop your need no doubt, but allows you have to worry about the expires date cause this people never do 30days out before expired, by law you have check 30day out for all food or drink. Any frozen food is normally 14days out but based on the item. n 90days out for any otc means all medication. This people need to study more about those eitem otherwise they will lose there busy soon.

Used to be very good. Now they over charge from listed price. . You have to go through the receipts to realize that. Happened to me quite few times. Will not go back there ever. Not recommended.

Need better snack selection. Some things a bit pricey.but im grateful.

Desi Market is one of the best place to shop your daily grocery needs. It is nice to have a store that is nearby & locally and carries most of the grocery items in one place. Service is great. Collections and quality of products are great. Prices are reasonable.Extremely recommend.

This is the best Bengali grocery in the town. You can all quality foods and varieties of fishes, vegetables collection at very cheap and reasonable price. Their customer service is outstanding. Sometimes they have great sale going on. Everyone should go this market and buy fresh grocery items. I strongly recommend this place for Asian foods.

This place is literally like a Bangladeshi everything store! You can everything from snacks to groceries to utensils and carpets. I would have to stay that their prices are a little higher than other stores nearby that sell similar goods. I also accidentally bought some expired tamarind candy. So please check the dates before you purchase.

This is the first day I was visiting the place and just to see how fresh and good products they have, I was really impressed they have lot of fresh vegetables, fish, meat and most likely everything you need will find in same place, the price are really really good compared to other, I didnt have plan for shopping but I bought some lembu/lemon it was so fresh and real taste all my family members loved it. I strongly recommend this place for fresh and good product. Surely will go there for shopping.

Vegetables, meat, sweets , dry fish, spice, fish and grocery are available here.Sometime they offer free food item with certain amount shopping. If you check the date of free item , you found it will be expired within one month.🧐Free parking. Very Helpful staffs. A lot of items.

They have a wide selection of different spices and Indian foods along with traditional Western foods. Sometimes the produce isnt the greatest but it is still a good deal. Staff are very helpful and friend, its a nice corner market

Typical Bangladeshi grocery. Good quality fish/ meat and fresh produce. Got some spices and other desi stuffs. If you need the desi ( Bengali style) ghee, stop by this place. You can get a ‘ Anil Ghosh’s ghee’ which resembles jharna ghee or other Bengali style ghee. Also you will get the mustard oil, khejur gur, Bangladeshi rice etc.

This place has put so much extra money back into my pocket. Everything seems to be minimum of $1 cheaper than all other grocery stores. Everything is fresh and ownership and staff are hands on and very friendly.

I live in Hamtramck but I go to shop at your store every month. I take my parents and also my siblings go there to shop. I always shop at least $100+ every month.I was at your store about 3 days ago. The cashier was so rude, I kept telling him the fish and half of the things was separate. He kept on scanning the items. He didn’t care, he didn’t pack them. I kept telling him these go to different house.I didn’t say anything because I was fasting. I was very disappointed and will never go back. I did shopping of $323. But the way he behaved.I like your shop very much but My family will never go there again.
