They also stock everything under the sun including all types of soil and pots and lights. Numerous times they have given me insight and ideas along with helping me with product specifications. Hydro Depot is hands down the best gardening center in the entire country. They have the cheapest prices in the world - and that is not hyperbole. They have almost everything imaginable in stock between their two locations, and if it happens to be sold out it it usually because Hawthorne and Hydrofarm literally cant keep up with the business they do.The staff is knowledgeable and helpful with their recommendations. Thanks to this store Michigan has some of the best marijuana being grown in the entire world. And Hydro Depot is the epicenter of that!Shout out to Prince and Vince for owning the best hydro shop Ive ever shopped at.

When I tried to return a $20 Heater, guy behind counter claims I did not purchase the item from there. Calling me a liar. When there is a receipt in the system. It was a little humiliating. You have a great owner who is trying to build an empire. Then you have these cockroaches trying to tear it all down. Sad !!

My experience there was indescribable but hell its a review so let me describe it. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted by Sam. who refers to himself as the drip god. I told him what I was looking for and he gradually guided me through the aisles answering my questions all awhile I was picking his brain. He was very knowledgeable. I could tell he was a master grower By the big words he was using. He grabbed the items I needed and then directed me towards Johnny the register guy. a stocky tony soprano looking tough guy. He was hardly the tough guy more of a gentle giant. Unfortunately there was a item that wasn’t in stock. So the gentleman behind the desk who I’d have to say was the ordering manager Jay. Was very very eager to help me order that product. So I bought the items that were in stock at a considerably lower amount then most hydro stores would price there items at. and a couple days later jay personally called me the product he was very eager to help me find came in. And my plants are as healthy and happy as can be.THANK YOU HYDRO DEPOT

The people are nice and are so very helpful. They dont try to push sales on you. Prices are pretty good also.

Stores their products, including soil, outdoors in the elements.I was concerned buying soil from them when I saw that they were warehousing things outside in the middle of summer. Even tried baking it because the conditions they stored it in made me so nervous.I never brought a single thing from outdoors and had zero cross-contamination in borderline clean room conditions.Now my garden has spider mites.

Great prices well worth the drive

Very disappointed. Told by a worker last time I was there that discount code has to be put in first. Go today and when they start ringing me up, I simply ask if they need my code first. Someone who addresses themselves as the owner and person that started the store tells me that they know how to do their job but would I like to come show him. Very poor customer service. If this is the main manager, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

People of color please dont shop here, very very rude to people of color , when you call there and they will hang up on you if they know you are black ... Amazon I rather wait for my needs thru then .. I will never shop there again . .my account number 9510

They stack the soil bags outside, and several of them had large holes in the bags.Our garden became infested with mites after using this soil.We called to let them know, they literally just dont care.

Picked up some coco Roots Royale but they had them stacked outside. Rain water soaked them and other brands of medium as well. Place is five star all around besides that hiccup. But be careful because it can alter your plants u less you flush for a year.

Lots of stuff, but they seem to cater to big grows, not the guy trying to create medicine for himself. Everything is boxed, hardly anything is on display, you can barely walk its so packed in the isles, and theres always 2+ guys in the back loading up someones car/truck in bulk, and nobody to help in the isles, at least they never offered to help. Wont go back, northern lights is MUCH better and much more personable.

The worst people ever see they are so route

This store carries some hardcore pesticides that should not be used by the average hydro store customer, or on the crops grown by the average hydro store customer. They are not allowed on most food crops. The prices here are basically the same as every other hydro store in the area. I cant in good faith spend money at a store selling pesticides that are not allowed on crops in California or Oregon. The employees seem nice, but all we did was exchange pleasantries, I walked out when I saw the avid, floramite, and minx(off brand avid)
