I absolutely love my WaterRower! I live in a tiny 250sq ft apartment and this works perfect to allow myself to still get a nice workout in without taking up too much space. Super easy to stand up or set down. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a way to get a great workout!!

I decided to buy a rower, and after some research I selected the product from this company: The Club. I wanted to have access to support that is geographically closer. And I was happy, because I had some issues in the beginning that were promptly solved. From my personal experience: great product with excellent customer support.

I can not say enough poor things about this company and my experiences with them. Ive voiced my concerns, but the company does not care.- - -I am an avid rower since college and subscribe to all the YouTube channels, etc. Very few serious rowers even suggest WaterRower anymore.- They ship their expensive units in partially exposed boxes, exposed to weather elements (and damage as a result).- The tablet arm I purchased requires tightening every 1-2 weeks - not well designed if I have to adjust it so often, and it holds expensive tablets.- Customer service is nearly nonexistent.- Website is poorly designed where I had to cancel items because they were horrendously articulated on the website.- Items received needed to be replaced because customer service does not understand its own products and specifications.- Ship times are insane and they charge top dollar ($25 - no choice in shipping speed) and even considering prepackaged items.- Replacement items, strangely, ship just as slowly and arrive slower (I guess they dont feel faster shipping is warranted for replacement items).- - -My Club rower is currently working okay, but Im concerned what happens when I have a warranty issue on top of the several issues exhibited by this company.All in all, there is way too much competition out there with the advent of recent far superior products such as Hydrow and Ergatta and Concept 2. They are a bit more expensive, but its worth it than having to potentially deal with this company. With the introduction of the mentioned rowers above, all serious rowers do not use WaterRower and instead use those. Not worth the aggravation or disappointment.

Do NOT get a WaterRower. I cant say enough poor things about the machine and design. I believe I own the Classic model and Ive only had problems since buying it. Ultimately, I have spent more time trying to fix this thing than actually rowing.1. I bought it off of Craigslist (my mistake) and it had the S3 monitor system installed. When I brought it home, guess what? The monitor turned on, but didnt work. You can Youtube Waterrower monitor problem and will get many many hits.2. The part needed to fix the monitor was a small and inexpensive one, but when I called support to get a replacement, they told me they didnt make the part anymore and that Id have to upgrade to the S4 system. This costs $200+ or something (you get a $75 rebate for sending the old monitor system back, which, to their credit, was applied right away).3. I ended up buying the S4 monitor and the installation is a pain. The battery pack is hidden behind this metal panel thats impossible to reach; there are these 2 Allen screws in the back that are impossible to get back in. I spent an hour and gave up; I just left the screws in the back undone.4. Make sure to take a day off from work to give yourself enough time to fill up the tank. The plug is in the middle of rower very close to the monitor and battery pack and its difficult to maneuver a spout or something to fill it up. They give you this rubber hose that is supposed to funnel water into the tank, but its pretty useless. You WILL inevitably get soaking wet filling up the tank; honestly, rowing on water is a dryer experience.5. Finally, after installing the S4 system, it stopped working again. Monitor turned on but didnt track activity. Turns out, one of the wires had snapped, so I needed to get a replacement disk (they DO have replacement parts for the S4 system). I just finished fixing it and expect to get a few days out of it before another issue pops up.6. If youre looking for a workout, there are other options, like swimming across the Atlantic. This machine will take years off your life and maybe even marriage, raise your blood pressure, and put you in insurmountable debt.POSITIVES:1. Their support team is good and is easy enough to reach.2. They gave me the $75 rebate when I sent back my old system pretty much immediately.
