I like shopping here in general. Nice, helpful people. Usually not crowded. Produce is usually good. The only drawback is that it’s a smaller store so smaller selection. Still prefer it to the crowds and general craziness of Safeway.

It has the feel of trader Joes and the products of Safeway. Overall I like going there better than Safeway but keep in mind it doesnt have as much stuff. But for daily groceries or to get eomething quick its great because its more compact and way less crowded than safeway. Also their in-store made bread is pretty good!

I love this location. The clerks are friendly, everyone knows where things are, the store is clean, and carts are waiting where they belong. When things were normal pre-pandemic, every time I shopped with my kids, the cashier would offer free fruit to my kids. Some items are little pricier but I can almost always find what I need for that certain recipe. Their fresh fruits and veggies seem to be of a better selection and I dont have to pick around for better quality. Parking is plentiful.

I love this store and have been happily shopping here since we moved nearby in 2016. All of the employees are kind, helpful and hard working. The bakery is great(their birthday cakes are delicious and made fresh)and the selection is perfect for our family. So happy to see this store thriving.

I go there early and find the best produce and the freshest deli salads

I have been doing online shopping and curbside pickup here throughout the pandemic and it has made my life much easier! Their website is great, online selection is the best Ive found, and their staff are friendly, attentive, and responsive. Items are rarely out of stock and when they are, they offer really good substitutions.My in-store experiences have all been positive as well - really high quality products at reasonable prices. I will continue to shop here long after this pandemic has passed!

Today I was helped by Tiffany, Robert ,and Sammy and when I say they are the sweetest people ever ...I mean they are the TOTAL sweetest. I am not always the easiest customer to deal with, I am very paranoid/ covid paranoid and they were just so nice and understanding. I had the BEST experience in there. Literally, even their customers are very nice. Its worth every penny going in there. This place is suuuuper peaceful and they are always smiling. All of three of these people truly need a raise, Im so serious LOL. Thanks so much guys!

This is a terrific place to shop. There is always safe and easy parking. The bakery items are five star rated. Their cakes, biscuits, pastries alone are worth shopping at this awesome store. They have really great customer service. Who ever is in charge of their produce should give classes to all of the other markets in the bay area. The produce at Nob Hill is excellent. You can find everything you need for every recipe, even the hard to find ingredients. And everything is fresh, just like it was picked from the garden this morning. I really like shopping at this store!

Reasonable prices and some items are just not available easily in other stores. Checkout staff always has the time and courtesy to help find something. Cheaper than Safeway.

I enjoyed the different things to buy in a smaller store. They had a few things that I was not expecting to find...full service sandwhich center.Varieties in brands nice to see name brands as well as new...old brands are still around, not being replaced with store brands. I like that.

With the advent of shelter in place, I am very appreciative of my local Nob Hill and the order on line and pick up service. The selection on line is extensive. The shoppers select very good produce. This is an excellent service

The manager is just wonderful, working hard with a big smile on his face and the staff at the deli are just incredible. The best french baguette anywhere and the bakery rocks! Very clean and lots of parking space!

Items can be difficult to find, and when they are, it can be difficult to help from the staff (because there just isnt anyone available, and when they are they are usually very helpful). can be out of stock of many items at one time. otherwise, a great alternative to Safeway

This particular location is slightly inferior to others in the east bay. selection was less than desired and the store layout did not look as polished as some (all) of its sister stores. its curious considering the good location, but perhaps having a Safeway and a Whole Foods so close by, both of which are neater stores, has somehow contributed to the somewhat rundown look of this store. or, perhaps my expectations were higher than they should have been. in any case, dont let that deter you from shopping here...there are plenty of poorer alternatives.

The Walnut creek store is nice and clean. The produce is comprable to Safeway in quality and value. They have a very small selection of vegan products. When they mail out coupons it is sometimes worth the trip. The cash back rewards program is better than others I have encountered.

One of the last local small town markets in the area. Sure you can go shop fancy and corporate but they dont care about you. Its like shopping on a Borg ship. Here its local nice at a reasonable price. Easy to parking but old carts. Good selection of produce and beers.

Good choice of product, both fresh and packaged. Great prices; great deals. The employees are friendly and helpful. The restrooms are easy to find (up front) and clean. And the icing on the cake are the baskets of fruit where kids can pick out one for free. Great customer service and appreciation.

This evening I shopped at Whole Foods but needed more celery for green juice so decided to shop at Hob Hill groceries. After getting celery, milk, and other things, I proceeded direct myself to pay for my goodies. Unfortunately, the shift manager did not greet my family and was rude for our entire transaction. Probably she was having a bad evening but need to take a breather and check our attitude before assisting customers.

This store has been around much longer than the nearby Safeway or Whole Foods. However, they failed to address the needs of the customer base: wide range of Organic foodstuff.Their selection is rather limited both in terms of variety and in terms of the produce or bakery section vis-à-vis organic or healthy foods.

Its a good store and the staff is very friendly

The staff was helpful. Unfortunately, the organic produce section is not very big so it was difficult to find everything I wanted. However, I was happy to see that they had the organic yellow pear tomatoes. Since they are the only kind of tomatoes Im supposed to eat. And they seem to be the only store in town which sells them in a container by themselves, not mixed in with red tomatoes. For that alone, I was able to give them three stars. Parking is very easy. They are conveniently located on Oak Grove, near Ygnacio Valley Road & Citrus, in Concord.

This Nob Hill Foods has a special place in my heart. We used to live in the neighborhood and I have the one of the best memories walking to buy our groceries with both of my kids...They are young adults now, time flies...

If it was infected this Plaza has a free Volta EV charger I would probably go turn different Market or Plaza to do my business I only wish that it was a DC fast charger here I really think that all business should think about getting a free easy charger system especially DC fast-charging the chemours customers to shopping that Plaza or Mall

Really like the store. Just the right size unlike the new Safeway which is huge. Checkers are very friendly. Produce guys do a great job. 4 stars rather then 5 because the store is showing its age. Needs to be updated.

This is our familys go-to grocery store. All the basics; great bakery; amazing deli with lots of pre-made sandwiches and ready-to-eat entrees and sides. Also, really nice restroom (important with little kids). Finally, they have baskets of fresh fruit for kids at the front of the store!

Excellent! I placed my order online and it was ready for pickup 2hrs later. I parked in a special area and sent them a text and my order was brought to my car. I truly appreciate the excellent service. I will definitely utilize this again.

My go to grocery store for just about everything. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Store is clean and has a great variety. The prices are competitive if not better than other local grocery stores.

Found what I was looking, checker was friendly and courteous, would have preferred more selections of the dog food produced by Evolve, my dog likes, duck and liver, selection you have are only turkey, chicken and salmon .

I remember when this location opened. It was supposed to be a grand, upscale grocery store. Fast forward 20+ years. Its old and outdated. The store always seems empty and lifeless. Every time Im there one or more employees is complaining about something. The last time I was there, a female checker demanded I hand her my merchandise, rather than just picking it up herself. She was so rude, I actually thought she was kidding!

I bought a breakfast burrito. I asked the person behind the deli counter if there were a microwave I could use. He said no. Then heated it up himself. Used the convection oven. #divine. Thank you.

I cant believe how many years it took us to discover Nob Hill Foods - we just had to get in the habit of driving a different direction. But once we found it, Nob Hill Foods fast became our favorite grocery store. The people who work at this store are always so nice and friendly, the store has everything we shop for, and we love the fact that this store never even heard of those horrible self-check lanes. If the check-out lines get a little long, they always bring another checker up to help out.

I love the flower section coz of its variety. I always buy flowers for my house every 2 weeks. The bread section also. Generally great but a few things are pricey.

Nob Hill is the only store in the area that carries this delicious Rebel Ice Cream. This stuff is amazing and is primarily for people on the Keto diet. If you have tried Keto you know you have to give up a number of foods and ice cream would normally be one of them. Now thanks to Rebel and Nob Hill it’s back on the menu and it’s macros are perfect for Keto. Most people struggle to keep up their fat portion of their macros but this is a nice frozen treat that helps in a big way. Again this might not be for everyone but if your in the Keto space I highly recommend it. Many diet foods are terrible but this is truly amazing. Thanks Nob Hill for carrying this and restocking many ofthe best flavors..you should carry Strawberry also :-)

I love the one in martinez and was trying to see if one was closer to where I now live. Ive not been in the walnut Creek location yet but I do know martinez is a great place to shop. Its a bit more upscale (also a bit more expensive) but you pay for what you get.

Pretty cool it does infact have groceries. Its an alternate universe Safeway . Its not gross or shady.I can recommend cause its the only place with my favorite margirine highly recommnend itIts a white one with like a leaf on it too lazy to check the name

Overall its like any other grocery store with competitive pricing. The place however is quite gloomy inside and can use a lighting upgrade.

Location is good. Prices are high. A lot of old food. I bought fresh baked cookies and they were stale.

They always have ample for my car.
