Customer service has gone down hill recently. Had several awkward visits trying to add additional equipment to my gym. Representative was rude and had a very negative attitude. I will have to take my business and money elsewhere moving forward!

I purchased a new True treadmill from Precor Home Fitness, even though we don’t live in California. Their price was fantastic, there was no sales tax, shipping was free, and delivery took just a couple of days! In fact, we saved several hundred dollars over my local True dealer (who couldn’t match the price), AND we received it faster than if we had purchased locally.Many thanks to Precor Home Fitness and Eric for the excellent customer service.

Beyond fantastic! Eric went well above and beyond to find the Airdyne bike I was looking for and had one delivered to my doorstep much quicker than expected - especially given that any home exercise gear is pretty tough to get a hold of right now. We stumbled upon Precor fitness and was promptly greeted by Eric. We told him we were looking for a sturdy, yet comfortable upright bicycle. He showed us many options, explaining all the different options on each. He was friendly but didn’t put a lot of pressure on us. We decided on a bike and Erik helped us with the financing and setting up delivery. We are so happy we found Precor fitness and Eric!

Eric, the store manager in Walnut Creek, is fabulous! We were looking for a recumbent exercise bike for my 85-year-old mother. We went back again and again, for her to try different ones, and finally bought one. She tried it at home, and it didnt work out. We were able to return it as promised without a problem, and without feeling like we had to buy a new one. Fantastic experience.In addition, we bought a treadmill and an exercise bike for ourselves as. We had to exchange the bike after a trial run here at the house. The treadmill was perfect. We are using these pieces of equipment regularly.Eric was very helpful and never made us feel badly about the trials of the equipment or about all the returns/exchanges.The guys that came out for the deliveries and subsequent pick up of the items we were returning were also very helpful and professional.Its worth paying a little extra for the peace of mind that comes from such good customer service and generous refund/exchange policies. They also have a wide variety of equipment on the floor, and dont rush you if you want to try things out for a while in the store. We also never felt pressured into buying anything, though Eric was very knowledgeable about all the equipment and patiently explained the details of the many items we tried in the showroom.I will definitely go back to the Walnut Creek store if I ever need any other exercise equipment!

Precor, especially Eric made this process as easy as it could possibly be. After a horrendous experience with another exercise equipment company, and ultimately having to cancel our order, we walked into Precor and Eric helped show us all the different treadmill options. We didnt feel pressured at all, and ordered one later that day from Eric. During the busy holiday season, our treadmill was delivered in less than 10 days. The delivery team called us when they were 30 min out, arrived on-time, set-up the treadmill, tested it out and then were gone within 30 minutes. Im impressed. Highly recommend Precor!

Customer service was horrible. Was told I would get a call when my equipment came in, it was all paid for already. Never got a call, I had to call and apparently it had been in. (Its been about 2 months)

Had a great experience. When building a gym, its hard to find a company who actually seems to care and show interest. Precor did just that. I will no longer take my business anywhere but here. And will only reccomend others to here. Best store eva.

Great customer service! We purchased a commercial spinning bike for home use. Keith and Eric know the brand well, addressed my questions before, during and after our purchase. Purchased a brand new elliptical 3 weeks ago. Its extremely noise and you can tell that its either defective or improperly assembled (we used their assembly service of course). To sum it up - we cant use it, and we basically have to suck it up. They are not going to replace the unit, they are shipping us some part from Kentucky or some other state and once we get the part theyll send someone to replace it. Maybe well be lucky and that will solve the problem. Otherwise, start over.Probably the worst experience with customer service in a very long time. For a over $1,000 purchase from a a supposedly high end brand I expected something totally different.

My wife and I stopped in the Dublin Precor store to buy an ellipitical bike. We werent greeted as we entered the store even though there were only two people. A guy behing the counter and a man whom I assumed to be the owner chatting with each other. We checked out the various pieces of equipment for about 10 minutes and not once did the sales guy say anything. Hey, Ill be right with you or Let me finish up with this gentleman and Ill show you some of our fitness equipment. Nothing...nada! So we proceed to leave and guess what?...not a word! Went else where and got what we needed.

My first piece of equipment was a Precor EFX 5.23 elliptical back in 2004. We did have one problem when we put the WiFi in as it interacted with the HR monitoring electronics. It took weeks to get a repair man out (because we live in Pittsburg) but this did not keep me from using the equipment. One repair visit was all it took. I still love this cross trainer (2013) daily and its is still smooth as silk.If you are confident using a cross trainer; you get on Precor and feel instantly what you get for the money. If not, you get spoiled and only realize when you get on a display model at the mass merchandiser. My favorite attributes: It is heavy, no wobble on a mat over carpet and it has a cup holder. So smooth & quiet it can be used at night without waking my husband. Maintenance required: keep it clean.With Precor, you get fit and spoiled at the same time.
