I can’t say enough great things about Jay. Typically when you think of a gold store, automatically your guard is up. The stereotypical gold dealer is someone who’s trying to get as much value from you as possible at your own expense.However with Jay my experience was quite the opposite. My family had to sell some of my grandmothers jewelry. We found Jay on Yelp and read all the reviews. Great reviews by the way. We decided to visit his shop in hopes of not losing our shirt over selling my grandma’s jewelry. I was very please and surprised by our experience. He gave us fair market value (more than I expected) for the jewelry and he went above and beyond the call of duty to not only verify that our jewelry was valuable, but also to make us feel like we are in good hands with him. He was kind and very warm towards us. Definitely changed my perspective when it comes to cash for gold shops. I highly recommend visiting Jay.

Went to Jay to get my engagement ring examined. I had the band resized and wasn’t sure if the company replaced the diamond (I’ve heard stories). He reassured me it was still my diamond & he was so informative. He even showed me with his magnifier that it was the real diamond comparing it against the cert form. Super impressed. Went back a few times to see some diamond solitaire earrings he had, and pricing was so fair. He’s very honest. I’d recommend for honesty and no weirdo overhead fees.

I took in my diamond rings a few years back after going to a major jewelry store. To say the owner paid me more than the jewelry store is an under-statement. He explained the process to me and gave me significantly more than I expected. More recently I took in my Rolex to have it appraised and learned that he would give me more than a similar store. Overall, I know where I’ll be going from now on when I have jewelry to sell!

I was very pleased with the service I received at the Cash for Gold Store. Instead of tossing some old earrings, I was able to turn them into cash.I thought the service was very professional and fair.

I understand that the owner is trying to run a business, but he was intentially misleading. I had done some research beforehand and specially asked him about gold prices. To which his reply was that my information was outdated and prices were much lower. I sold about half of what I brought and the other half I took with me, he quoted at $20. Later that week I brought the gold to another place and was offered $60.This was my failure to research other gold buyers in the area and I was suckered in by good reviews. Hopefully, people will learn from my mistake and shop around before they stop here.I saw that the owner refuted another bad review against him by saying that the review was from a competitor. I have intentially left names of other gold buyers in the area, so that he cannot claim that I am competing with his business.
