Alexandrea was the best! Hands down awesome representation of what every company wants. She listened to my individual needs, worked within my time limitations and budget. This young lady is going places and it would be wise to give her an incentive to stay on board. I for one, will be going to this location, not a closer establishment, solely on her. Austin, at the front counter was also a quality employee. He was very helpful and informative as he was just all around pleasant. This is how customer retention is achieved. Keep up the great work and I can only hope it is recognized. I, for one rarely give any review but, people deserve credit where credit is due. These two are truly outstanding.

I really enjoyed my walk through the store. The variety of items available are attractive. The seasonal items are well coordinated. For example, red is a very difficult color to pair with other reds, but the reds here are not a problem. That helped us prepare for our event.

Not enough employees. Stood in line for a good 15 minutes 2nd in line and line was 8 deep. 1 staff was doing a balloon order and another finally came up to ring people up. Also did not have nearly as much of what I was looking for as the website said they had.

This party city is the best one I have been too here in Virginia Beach! Always assisted quickly and friendly. The best staff and always well stocked.

Only 1 worker was helpful. She was wonderful; Everyone else acted like it was there 1st day. So I spend $161. Then I had to return back because my grandsons venom costume was missing the mask. Wasnt a goid experience.

Everyone at this location is amazing! Every time I come in here Im always greeted, made sure Im helped when I look clueless, and a nice goodbye before I leave. This time around of course it gets crazy but how could you be upset when its one of their busiest times of the year. I was able to get a costume the other day in and out. I mean it took a second because there were people everywhere but who am I to complain? I was waiting just like everyone else. All the employees were moving at a fast pace with huge smiles on their face. Ive come in quite a few times for some birthdays this month as well. I can tell the woman(Mrs.Glenda) running this place is awesome! Love the energy and enthusiasm. Thank you Party City on S Independence Blvd!!

The staff was very helpful in finding the costumes we wanted. If they didnt have the size or particular costume we wanted they looked for other options. Even after they told us they didnt have a certain costume they kept looking and if they found one that was the same or similar they brought it out. Great place for costumes and party supplies!

Great place for every birthday party or parties needs.

Talked to a store clerk last week about an upcoming birthday. I needed to talk to some others about what we wanted to order. The clerk said I could save time by ordering the balloons on line. This was amazing advice since I got to the store the next day and they were already inflated. Such a timesaver

BEST place for Halloween costume shopping! DO NOT waste your time or money going to those other pop up Halloween stores. Party City had MORE choices, MORE organized, and WAY better prices. I will never go anywhere else for costumes. Thank God, for Party City, those other places make you want to never celebrate Halloween again.

I actually dislike Party City, not this particular one. So of them. Im not a party person.But my wife loves this store. So I go. They always seem to have what she needs.

Literally just got my balloon order from them yesterday and 2 of my balloons were already deflating like an hour after I brought them home and then this morning 3 more...mind you they are mylar balloons. Very disappointed! This was at the Virginia beach location at Birchwood shopping center.

Nice friendly stores. Prices are reasonable. You can also reserve items for parties, you have to check how to do that by calling the store closest to you.

I love this store! It has everything that you could ever want or need for a party. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it can be more expensive than other stores for the same product sometimes.

Took over twenty minutes to even get asked if I needed anything and have been standing in line for over 10 minutes now while waiting to ring out while three associates help one customer.... they all walk away except the one on the register.... another customer walks away to get more stuff and then walks back to claim her spot back and the associates dont say anything....the register associate is now blowing up the balloons for the same customer that had issues at the register...other two employees are out on the sales floor....now its been 15 minutes and still waiting to check out not to mention the one customer mentioned above is still waiting as well. Finally at the 15 20 minute mark another associate walks up to help. The third one came back up smelling of smoke to help and then walks away....not happy with this visit. Normally we are in and out....

Prices are not marked correctly. Some things I looked at were priced cheaper at Walmart!!! I bought cards...there was no discount. What happened to the lower prices? I was not thrilled. The personnel were Great!!!

Have a lot of inventory. Especially when it came to Halloween this year the STAFF on the floor are very helpful & informative aswell as welcoming. I applaud their patience when indecision takes ahold of you or your partner to figure out what your toddler (2 year old ) ( who was running up ad down the aisles whining and complaining for no reason. & then Toddlers + shopping = high blood pressure,an unwanted audience.they would go in the back and look for and not only that they told us how long it might take to look for it and they suggested other costumes but we found they’ve actually found the one that we wanted so it was clean and the staff were friendly.I recommend party city speciallyIf you can’t find what you looking for Target and farm fresh is just around the corner and Walgreens

I walked in right at 8:25 pm knowing theyd close in five minutes but knew exactly what I wanted to get. Before even saying hello which I believe the employee did not say, Rebecca (the employee) made it clear to me that the store was closing in five minutes.Thanks for making me feel my time here should be rushed! I bet the headquarters wouldnt want their employees to make their paying customers experience a dissatisfied one. Then I go to the register and I had $100 to break (for my companys related expenses) and Rebecca asked if I had anything smaller because she may not be able to break it...maam if you dont do your job...obvi if I had something smaller I would have given it to you!If I walk in and youre open, then guess what? I get to shop! Money is money and corporate wants your money especially if Im done shopping in record breaking time (back at my car at 8:31). I proceed to tell the manager who initially started off correct by apologizing and offering me more time to shop. By then Im ready to go and I explained to him how I felt and briefly mentioned my professional experience in retail and even expressed the feeling of having that one customer come in last minute even youre ready to go and about to close shortly. However my customer service skills did not become rude or unpleasant.Then somewhere down the line he mentions maybe shes quiet...*insert Scooby doos voice* Urgh?!? what does that have to do with her saying what she said or more so the tone in what she said?! So now the manager is trying to justify her poor customer service skills without even being around for it and I state Im confused. He replied I am too....why are you confused sir?!Then he continues and says that maybe it was how I conveyed what she said and it was a miscommunication. Oh so now its my fault or a figment of my imagination of not receiving half decent customer service?! Ok.Thats a no.... he should have stopped talking after his initial response bc it started off great. I spend too much money at this location to receive poor customer service and a manager that decides to take up for his employees lack of proper customer service. I could have read him, but I didnt have the time (literally) and reporting to HQ and posting a Google review is much better :)

Waited in line way took long. 3 or 4 employees..one on register others dealing with ladies ballooon order. Lady in front of me dropped her neclace..broke it tgen ask guy at register could she get another one and did he want to just ring up that one now..he told he no just go get another... holding up register..I was just waiting while she went and got another neckace..lady had 2 orders...balloon order obviously wasnt there..lady probably ordered at wrong store or didnt even order it..but she had everyone scrambling..just seemed like young employees there with no direction.

Pretty rude people working here. The girl with the short dirty blonde hair and glasses was the rudest. Turned away checking out a man woth a child that was fussy amd ready to go. To busy doing other things (ripping tags off of things) which to me that was horrific customer service. She was very rude telling him she wasnt available to check him out. Whatever not going to this location anymore.
