Love how friendly the staff always is and how full they keep there shelves. I can always find what I need here. This visit I saw that they have a beautiful display of indigo/purple orchids and healthy succulents with great pots to go with them.

I am a regular customer at Kroger in the Holland Road location. I appreciate the staff and their efforts to make my shopping experiences pleasant. Recently I checked out with cashier Veronica and was pleased with the care she took to organize my purchases. Despite the long lines she was fast, courteous and efficient and made sure everything was bagged safely and properly. Good job, Veronica!

I love Kroger stores! Unfortunately I checked out with a cashier was not very friendly, I asked a question about something I bought and she was quick with telling me it would go on my Kroger card. Never once a smile from her she had an attitude and I watched her with the next person in line obviously she was having a bad day or she just did not belong up there as a cashier not with the way the world is today you’ve got to be polite, a smile to your customers goes a long way! name was Veronica.

One of the nicer Kroger hands down. This store has lot of parking, good selection, friendly staff, and is very clean and orderly.

HORRIBLE customer service! Called this place today and was told by the lead of the fuel department that she couldnt tell me the current gas price for 87 grade or shed get fired. I then called back to speak with management who also stated that they are not allowed to. This was both the assistant manager and, she claimed also, the store manager who stated this. She had the audacity to suggest I use Gas Buddy. Fuel is a product provided/sold at this location. If I call asking about something on the shelf Im given the information that I need, yet you blatantly refuse to tell me a current gas price?! Theyd rather inconvenience you and have you ride around, with gas prices currently being the highest theyve been, than provide you the information that they are already privy to. If this is the way the company operates, I definitely need to reconsider any future purchases.

I placed an online order to be delivered. I received the wrong groceries, so of course I called the store. Only to find out that I have to call some delivery service and deal with them. After being on hold and disconnected and then start over, back on hold. I finally got through, and I was told they would file a claim. I called Kroger back and they said my problem isn’t with them but with the delivery service. I used a Kroger app to place this order not an app from a delivery service, Kroger assumes no responsibility for my order. I have no idea when or if they will refund my money. Now I don’t have my groceries or the money. Maybe I can get my groceries in 7 to 10 business days.

Been coming to this store since it opened -- and like it. However, all the sudden, over the past 3-4 weeks -- theyve moved EVERYTHING. Whats up with that? I cant find anything anymore. I have no idea why after all these years, they decided to rearrange pretty much the entire store. Potato chips/tortilla chips/cheese doodles used to be in two aisles -- right next to each other. Now, theyre in about 5 different places. I dont get it! They cant even put up a sign that says, Were renovating. Sorry for the inconvenience. Or a sign that explains why. Ive complained a couple times to staffers ... and they dont give any response.

They are “redesigning” the store and not only customers don’t know where anything is but the individuals I asked for help didn’t know either. I told them that if I wanted to go to a new store, I would actually go to a new store . Then I put the items I was actually able to find back and left. I have been shopping at this store since it opened but today was my last time.

Didnt think it was possible for this store to get worse, but after its layout reset it is. Aisles make no sense, price signs are confusing and customer service sucks more than ever. Oh and its still as over priced as it ever was

I love Kroger, its my go to store. However the curbside experience is less than desirable. They always are out of stock, and I have gone in the store to get a similar item and see the items on the shelves. I havent even had an opportunity to do that recently b/c im not notified of out of stock or substitutions until i get to the store and read my receipt. I may have to look into other grocery chains b/c this is supposed to be easy and helpful in addition to being safe.

Love shopping here and used to love using the Kroger pickup, it was super fast and reliable, and convenient with COVID going on but for the last six months if not longer is has not been worth my time. We have received produced that has been rotten or have put in an order of bananas for example and receive one single banana. We get told items are out of stock and then go into the store to check and they are completely stocked. For example we’ve gotten told they were completely out of chicken breast and the shelves were completely stocked with it. I also allow substitutions on my list and most of the time they don’t substitute. This has been an on-going issue, we’ve brought it to the managers attention multiple times now and nothing seems to be getting done about it.

This Kroger is poorly managed, but has potential. I witnessed the astounding potentialfirst hand. Inspectors, who I assume were sent from corporate, were doing an inspection at the same time I happened to be doing my shopping. The place was almost utter perfection. Anything resembling perfection would never cross your mind on any other day.Friends, allow me to divulgence the true scene which will befall your eyes, should you choose to grace those walls with your presence. Upon entering through the automatic doors youll notice trash strewn about the floor. Dodging the overflowing trash cans youll walk towards the carts and stop abruptly. Youll see various pieces of trash hung on the carts as if they were a sad homage to a field of fully ornamented Christmas trees. Smile friends, because in the words of Bachman Turner overdrive B-b-b-baby you you aint seen n-n-nothing yet!.Youll stroll through the second set of automatic doors and this is where your troubles begin. Having passed the carts reach for a basket only to find an empty basket holder.In multiplication two negatives go head to head to become a positive; the same can often occur outside of the mathematical realm.Coming to the realization that you have no practical method to carry your entire list of groceries with only your hands, you begin to despair. Fret not my friends, youll soon realize half of your grocery list is out of stock and you neednt carry much at all.You smile as you see majority of things on your fruit and vegetable list are non existent. The burden of carrying everything on your list is lifted from your shoulders. Your smile widens as you notice there are no bags for anything, even if it were in stock. As you carry a stalk of celery in one hand and a carton of milk in the other you boldly head to the checkout line.Smiling, as only a fool who recognizes his first world problems can smile, you reach the register. The thing on the other side says in a pompous tone I wasnt about to go home or anything, dont worry about it.. As you awkwardly murmur a single solitary laugh you now realize the all divine truth. The gods hate you and all attempts to escape your new and clearly eternal prison will only result in further anguish.You black out. You awaken in your driver seat to the sound of car door banging into your own. It was only a nightmare you say as you breath a sigh of relief. Your eyes widen and pulse quickens as you look at your passenger seat and see them. A stalk of celery and a carton of milk sit gleaming in the evening sun.

Considering this is where I spend most of my money, I am very familiar with Kroger. They have very friendly staff. I did encounter one incident with an employee and management quickly rectified the situation. Let me tell you, there are no stores like Kroger. If you become a member, the sales and deals are impossible to beat without becoming a coupon junkie. For everyday people the deals are amazing and then to get rewarded for you shopping by getting discounted gas is an additional perk. If there is a Kroger around I wont shop anywhere else.

This Kroger location is always busy, although it’s slightly inconvenient (and entitled, I will admit) I have to bag my own groceries quite often I never mind when I have Shelley as my cashier. She is the sweetest, kindest employee Kroger has. I’ve been coming to this location for years and Shelley has never greeted me with anything less than a smile, kind words and remarkable customer service. She alone is why I give this a 5 star review.

Great store except...when I go to the grocery at 6am it’s the sane for me as others who go after work at 5pm. I work the night shift. While I don’t mind self checkout for a few things. I do not want to self checkout and bag $250 worth of groceries myself. I’m not entitled nor am I a Karen. I just want the same perks as others that go at other times of the day.

I like this store for the most part but the lady that works in the seafood section is awful at her job. She overcharged me and has a really bad attitude. She shouldnt be in a position where she has to interact with the public. Ill avoid the seafood counter when I see from now on. There are several really nice employees who make you feel really welcome so theyve got that going for them and the store is relatively clean and well stocked usually.

I love shopping here because of the healthy lifestyle choices I can make and do often. Thanks for carrying my favorite items only you can offer.

The last 3 weeks the weekly digital coupons are NOT working, 2 weeks ago it was the Easter candy not ringing up 50% off, today it was pies and oatmeal not ringing up, the lady in charge of the pricing came over and argued, even though EVERY item had a tag under it saying it was part of the deal, then a bald guy came over(pretty sure he is some sort of store manager) and said the prices I was trying to get were for the providence store, I told him I only shop at this kroger and the ad on my phone said for the kroger on holland, he just walked away(great management skills) these higher up workers need to look at their own ads...

While this is one of my favorite stores to shop, I will not tolerate horrible behavior by a cashier! Angela apparently had a issue with either my 3 orders(instacart) or the fact that Im african american, And since she was very polite to the caucasian customer behind me Ill assume the latter. She literally said nothing to me.... No totals for my orders, no greetings, nothing! She also thought it was okay to bag my groceries wrong and hand me all the bags instead of putting them in the cart that was beside her.

Love this place! Its very big so theres a larger selection of stuff. I love the sushi and natural foods section.Very clean and kind staff! 3 to 4 cashiers on duty so Ive never had to wait forever to get thru the checkout.

I always buy flowers from there and the guy Logan always makes amazing bouquets and has amazing customer service! If you there always ask for him to make bouquet, your significant other would be impressed by it!

Visiting my local Kroger on Sunday as usual, bought coffee with my wife and went back to the entrance to grab one of those carts with the cup holders. As I scanned looking unsuccessfully, Derek approached offering a cart. I told him I had one inside but was looking for one of the cup holder carts. He informed me that it was the smaller carts that had them and that he would grab me one. I told him it was Ok since the only ones available where in the middle of the parking lot on this dreary rainy morning. But Derek insisted, saying he was grabbing them anyways and took off literally running to grab me one before I could respond. All I could think was Dang!!! Dedicated. I was moved to write this, I’m sure you guys already know that Derek is an asset: Way above and beyond!!11 out of 10. Thanks Derek!! #KROGER4LYFE

The service here has gone way down hill. We have been using Kroger for nearly a decade and using the Click list pick up option since it began. Recently the service for the pick up service has been poor at best. They do not seem to have the same sense of purpose that they used to. Very disappointed, I have recommended this service to a large number of people. I will not continue to do so.

Wonderful store. Very clean and courteous employees. BUT giving 3 stars due to the gas prices always being 10 cents higher than the average. If you are going to give discounts to members it seems wrong to hike up the prices to make up for it!After the gas prices being competitive for a while, the gas price is back to being 10 cents more then the 7-11 across the street. The bonus points dont really matter if you are going to charge more!

My favorite Kroger location - so much so that I try to get everything I ever need from here! The employees are all super friendly and easy to approach. They keep everything as well stocked as can be expected and the store is generally very clean. The deli counter tends to be pretty slow/backed up, but they always do a great job. This is my go-to grocery store!

My husband and I absolutely love Kroger Market Place. They have the best fresh 🍣 around. Made fresh if preferred right in front of you. They also have fresh thick cut steaks and other quality meats.... Fresh 🍤 seafood. Great customer service and the Fuel Rewards are a plus

The store is always very clean and well stocked. The employees are very friendly and attentive, i very rarely have to wait in line to check out and the prices are very reasonable. Always an easy place for me to shop and get in and out of with ease.

A great grocery store that is well stocked and has WIDE isles. That staff is helpful and the store is clean. The sales are incredible especially when coupled with digital coupons offered through the app. Kroger watches your purchase history and customizes digital coupons according. I have received FREE Tombstone pizzas and peanuts on multiple occasions along with a great offer for shredded cheese (used on pizza) or ice cream (peanuts). Speaking of ice cream, Krogers house brand Private Selection is the best ice cream I have ever eaten. Ditto for frozen vegetables. I cant say enough good things about this store in particular and the chain in general.Speaking of digital coupons and saving money Krogers gas reward program saves me over $2,000 a year buying gasoline. Quite often Kroger will offer 4X the fuel points for the purchase of a gift card. Since I shop at Amazon often a $250 gift card from Kroger is the equivalent of a dollar a gallon savings on 35 gallons of gas the following month ($250 x 4 = 1,000). That brings the price of the gift card down to $210 using a cash back credit card ($250-$5-$35=$210). Thats a deal.

This is an amazing shopping adventure. I went in expecting a grocery store. Well its a super store with food bars. Toys. Holiday shopping. Clothes jewelry. Huge store if you cant find what you want here then just give up

Busy today. Great prices and products. I love their fried and savory baked chicken. I do not like some of the attitudes of the workers cooking the chicken. They must have came from farm fresh. Have loved this place since they opened several years back. Associates are always extremely friendly and helpful. The selection of items is awesome. They have an unbelievably enormous amount of non-grocery items also, rivaling that of a Super Walmart! Except Krogers clothes and shoes are so much more fashionable and well made. They always have a large portion of them on clearance as well. I cant count the times Ive shocked people who have commented on clothes, jewelry, or shoes I wore when I told them it was from Krogers Marketplace!

Great people, excellent service. Couldnt ask for more. Wonderful pharmacy and a wine selection that is second to none. Everything about this place is amazing. The fresh seafood and meat department cant be beat. Loved it. Truly a spectacular shopping experience.

Always clean and well stocked with products I use regularly. Good prices and specials. Staff is helpful and pleasant. I like the Private Selection brand especially in meats in the deli section. I particularly like the roast beef, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. I also like the Ken s brand of salad dressing vey much and Kroger always has the best price and selection. I do wish you would start carrying the country french flavor of Ken s. It is the only one you are missing and it is my favorite. Also make the pasta salad a regular selection in the deli. It is offered only occasionally and it is delicious. Thank you and keep up the good work. The free samples you offer are usually very good and well prepared and are a good selling point.

One of the nicest Krogers Ive ever been in and Ive worked for Kroger before! Its huge, so I had a bit of a hard time finding everything without asking for help, but it was my first time in there. I found products I didnt expect to be able to find in the store and I loved the layout and selection of produce and bakery. I waited no time in line, checked out quickly and efficiently. Very impressed with this store. I wish I lived closer! The kids clothing was cute too!

Awesome shopping experience 3 years ago. Went back today completely different results. The people in the Deli were unresponsive and just looked at you, never once asked if we needed help, stood there for 3 minutes. Then went over to see if they had any fried chicken. An employee was bringing it out and I said to my Grand daughter here it comes and the employee said back off until I put in the warmer I was waiting until she put them in there.

Limited produce at this Kroger, employees are sometimes wonderful but sometimes horrible, rude, throwing your groceries into the bags or bumping into you without excusing themselves.The worst part of the store though is the PHARMACY! When the store first opened it was great, Chad was the manager and the pharmacy ran well and was well staffed...now that Spencer is the manager the pharmacy is always short staffed, keeps losing prescriptions, places customers on hold for ten minutes or more and most techs are slower than snails! Ill never use them again!

I have been standing in customer service for 15 minutes while Veronica is sitting here talking to a man about everything under the sun. There is 5 people behind me and we have all been waiting the same amount of time. I understand being friendly with people but this is a bit extreme. I’m still waiting while leaving this review.

The delivery charge is too high! 3 timesI have ordered $100.00 order and recieved less then $ 30 worth of groceries. I tried to speak with customer service but was hung up on. I finally spoke to some one to tell them I will no longer shop Kroger on line service. That person did not care.

Not happy that I could not use a manufacturers coupon on prepackaged chicken that had been reduced. I understand that the item is discounted. However it is a company coupon, not a Kroger one. It shouldnt matter. Plus it is getting the older about to expire food out of the store. Other than that, I was able to use my points to get $0.60 off per gallon of gas.

I personally like this place because I like to go shop and get just a couple days worth of things that I want to cook for the week and a lot of times I do not feel like going to the big Walmart store. This store does not have that crowded Rush feeling and its a relaxing place to shop and I always can find pretty much what Im looking for so I dont have any complaints and the story is extremely clean and the people who work here have always been friendly and from my experience.

I hadnt realized how wonderful Kroger had gotten! Their rewards program is great, and theyve become very aware of what a shopping experience is supposed to be! Good job guys!

It’s 5pm on Thanksgiving Day and I realize we don’t have enough butter for the roles. I asked one of my guests to run to this Kroger to see if he could get some. When he gets there he’s told they’re already closed but the guy working the door let him in! Of course butter is all the way at the other end of this warehouse-sized store. He hears one checkout lane after another closing over the intercom. When he gets to the front of the store they do let him check out and he brings home the butter!! Thanks to the very generous Kroger staff for a perfect Thanksgiving!!

This store is huge!!! The fresh sections (produce, meat, seafood) always looks really good. They are constantly restocking and making sure the shelves are stocked. Great store and cleaner than alot of the other locations.

They arent limiting the number of customers for to COVID-19, yet they only have one door operational and the parking lot is at pre-COViD capacity. There is no reason to have one one door open if the same number of customers are buying groceries. Would the Fire Marshall say the occupancy levels are not exceeded since only one exit unlocked?

Love this place!! Im from out of town and went to a food lion yesterday. They had no selection of hardly anything. Today I got all my favorites!! This store even accepted my king sooper card from Colorado. 😁 Thank you Kroger!

Kroger is by far my favorite place to buy my food especially my produce. For the price the organic selection cant be beat. They are usually always fully stocked and if not available they will check in the back without an issue. Parking isnt too bad but like any market it depends on the day. Great discounts and coupons that are actually for the things you like.

I love their selection of organic produce and various organic items in the store. They have a decent selection of gluten free items (including the best tortillas that I have found so far). They are generally very friendly and helpful, though one cashier swore in front of my kids once. I told management and havent had an issue since. They offer​a wide selection of items at decent prices. They have a reusable bag discount as well, just make sure that they take it off your order (if they forget, its fairly easy to get it).

One stop shopping needs thats so amazing. Well kept and an awesome place to shop. Got excellent customer service, high quality products and affordable. Also got Fine jewelry with good selections for special or just because gifts for love one, entire family or friends.

Easy to find items, decent prices. Cashier made no eye contact and was actually turned in the other direction when she shoved the receipt in my face. The young man bagging the groceries was very polite and pleasant.

Outstanding experience!! Everyone was extremely courteous.. I was purchasing flowers and balloons for my wifes and I anniversary and the florist was so helpful with helping me select the right balloon design and flowers to go with the occasion.. I take my hat off to the Kroger staff for taking pride in what they do and the professionalism that they show to their customers!

Horrible Customer Service!! We spend over $600 a month here, its convenient location and great prices. However I will be relocating to a friendlier establishment due to their rude and unfriendly staff.

Great store with good coupons and card member deals. Terrible deli. I never get my correct order when I shop here. I’m always given something different and I’m always sliced way more than I wanted. I will now be shopping at a different KROGER 6 miles out of the way. I wish they trained the deli clerks to listen.

Great staff. Busy as all get out​ on Xmas Eve and those employees were chugging away making it a wonderful quick crowded experience. Big hugs to them for being there on the holiday for us. Take care of them MGmt.

A great selection of things and the prices are very competitive. The organization of the store is a little awkward. I really enjoyed how friendly the staff was. Overall its a great place to shop.

Decent grocery store. The prices are a bit high though. And their produce can be a bit hit or miss. I shop here all the time ad its right down the street from my house, Ive noticed they have a tendency to randomly stop carrying things I have come to rely on being able to get there. They dont sell onion beagles for some ridiculous reason. They have every other kind, but no onion.

I love this Kroger location. They have so many options for everything, even organic. The bonus is that the more you spend, the more you save on gas at their pumps. The staff is very helpful and the location is incredibly clean. Best grocery store around if you dont want to pay the higher prices of places like whole foods or even Harris teeter.

They had all of the self check out lanes open ... All of the express lanes were open ... And they had two other working express type lanes. Meanwhile they only had three full lanes open ... Each with at least five people with FULL carts waiting in the three lanes. I upgraded to two stars because Cortney open a cash register and asked folks with full carts to get in line. Finally someone that recognizes just who is paying more then their fare share of your expenses.

Went to pick up my online order and was told multiple items were no longer in stock in the store. I went to verify and every item that was no longer in stock were there and plenty to spare. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. What is the point in having a online order pick-up and fees if youre having to end up going into the store to get what was ordered and paid for.

I had a great experience tonight in the seafood department. Mr. Dequan was very helpful and even though he was by himself was doing his best to help everyone in a timely manner even 2 different customers who arrived after me that were very rude to him even though I let him help them first and he still kept a smile and manners. I would have given 5 stars but the cashier was rude.

Beautiful store, helpful & polite employees, and good prices. We picked up a few grocery items then headed to the fashion and health beauty departments. Who would think a grocery store would have a nice clothing department? Think again! Its small, but was very neat and I actually found a couple of things I had trouble finding elsewhere. I hope that the new North Suffolk one will be just as nice when it opens.

Im getting a little tired of the lack of customer service behind the deli and food counter. No sense of urgency from anyone this afternoon. It took me an hour to get chicken and cold cuts. There was one woman working the deli counter and she was clearly not in the best of shape to be doing her job alone. A line of two customers turned into 5 in ten minutes. Then it dropped down to 3 because two people had said they were sick of waiting for my order. I was the second in line and she finally got to mine 10 minutes after she started with the customer before me to slice a pound of meat and a 1/3 of cheese. Ive worked a slicer and it doesnt take that long to do any of the process. Then the woman working the food counter was rude and unhelpful (as always, as Ive dealt with her before in deli). She told me 20 minutes for my chicken, which took 30, then the guy working was doing everything but getting the chicken for the 3 customers that were patiently waiting for him, which he was aware of and just didnt care. I think his name was Rob. Im just done with their counter. Its been the reason why I use click list so much. I just dont want to deal with them. So I pay $5 extra to not have to anymore. Its worth it, but its also a scam. I can do my own shopping. Just have things available and hire people that actually want to do a good job.

Krogers has been really outstanding every visit. They customer service is always great, they food bar is beautiful and always fresh. Most of all the prices. Kroger is definitely my favorite place to shop for food

3/7 Update: My moms lillies are STILL holding up great and still smell amazing! Shes impressed with by the quality of flowers from a grocer!I LOVE this Kroger! Excellent prices, but my fav part are the people. The floral dept lady was AMAZING!!!! I chose 2 arrangements and baby breath. She took them apart and created the most BEAUTIFUL bouquet of lilies for my mother. The presentation was wonderful. So glad I stopped by today! 1st time at that location. Awesome!!!

Great Market place!, they carry just about everything you need. Prices are affordable, store is clean and well stocked. The people that work there, are sooo polite and helpful.

Its a grocery store, nothing too splashy about that. I value being able to get in and get out, plenty of space to move around, a great selection, well organized, and clean. This Kroger location is above average in all those five areas so a star for each.

What a great place to shop. I mean they have a large selection to choose from. They have all the national brands and store brands that in some cases are better than the national brand. The staff/employees for the most part go out of their way to help you. I really like shopping here.

Im in Kroger almost every day. The prices are cheaper than most stores, and the fuel points are what I take the most advantage of. They also have a great meat market, and every now and then youll find a good deal on clothing. The double and sometimes 4x the fuel points on their gift cards is the best deal in the store. I also love the fresh produce.

My favorite place to shop. While busy, checkout lines move exceedingly quickly. Produce is always fresh. Deli and bakery staff are helpful. A wonderful selection of domestic and craft beers.

All in one shop. Great produce and products and not ever too expensive. Have NEVER had a bad experience or not been able to find what I needed. Love love love this place.

Was shopping with my Mom & 2 kids. Everything was find until we encountered 2 very rude employees who threatened to call security on my 3 & 5 year old sons who were disturbing no one! Cashier wasnt friendly at all. Not sure ill be back to this Kroger. Loved the one we went to in Kentucky before we moved.

Huge store. To get around I had to download the Kroger app, create an account. Once I did I could search & add items to a shopping list. Items had an isle location. Very handy. Store has WiFi.

Nice big store. Clean and everything is in order. No clutter. I wish Norfolk had one.

Always have what I need. Prices are great. Store is clean and gotta love the clearance room in the back.

I always love Krogers atmosphere, always busy and you find things other stores dont have. Staff is helpful and friendly. I need to come back often.

Worst pharmacy ever - very understaffed and these people don’t care. I dropped off a prescription and was told to come back. I came back and the staff said that this prescription couldn’t be refilled at the time due to time requirements - no phone call. Wasted trip number one. While I was there I asked the pharmacist to put a note in the system to have my prescription ready when I come back the second time. Just came back today and of course my prescription isn’t ready. I was told to come back at 2:30 PM. Wasted trip number two. I have to make a third trip just to get this stupid prescription. Changing pharmacies!! :(

This plus size Kroger is one of the best that I have been to. Always clean, always well maintained, and the personnel are always friendly and helpful. It is also nice to have a Starbucks inside to the right, makes the shopping experience after a long day much better!

While waiting in line patiently, I am directed to another line to expedite my products. When I get to the live Devion, the cashier says he has a line and tells me to go back in line where I am even further behind. Poor customer service.

Great sale prices. You can find pretty much anything here. Good selection of organic products, too. Friendly staff.
