I called this company about a week ago and they sent someone out the next business day. The first associate that came out was very nice, however he was unable to fix my issue due to the size of my garage door. Although he was unable to fix my issue he did place an order for my parts the same day. The associate that came out today (Andrew) was absolutely phenomenal!!! He was very knowledgable and kept me informed on what was going on. He also went above and beyond by fixing an issue that he noticed would be an issue for me in the future. I am super happy with my service and will be sure to spread the word to anyone that needs service on their garage door/garage door opener to contact Overhead Door.

Never return calls, never gave us a quote after looking at the issue and I had to continue to call for a week+ to even get a call/issue and STILL never heard back.

His professional mannerisms, excellent knowledge and personal interaction with the customer was so greatly appreciated. He really went the extra distance to make sure that all of my questions and concerns were addressed and for this I am extremely grateful. Recently purchased a new garage door from overhead door. Candice was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The door is gorgeous and I would recommend anyone to take a step up in quality and use overhead door.

My review was removed, so I will post again. This company gave my landlord a run around for months last year, while the garage and my property were in danger of vandalism or theft. Once someone showed up months after the initial ordering of a door, they could not install it that day and it took another few weeks to finish the job. I feel like this company does not care about its customers in Norfolk, as most of us here are transient due to being in the military and that means very little repeat business. If you want a company that will show very little regard for your property this is the one for you.

We bought a home with an overhead door opener. The previous owners couldnt find the opener so we called overhead door of Norfolk. Three months later we still havent heard back from them. Numerous message by phone and email. Good luck trying to work with this company. Were replacing our garage door opener rather than continue to wait for Overhead Door of Norfolk to respond.

I dont know who owns this Company But, They just lost a Commercial account with over 250 stores. Theses people do not have a clue as to what they are doing. Complete waste of time dealing with this Company. All they done for us was give wrong info and waste our time had to call another Liftmaster Authorized dealer in Chesapeake to get some simple work done. I do not see them being in business much longer. Dont bother calling this Co.

My garage door had gotten off track and the bottom connections were not working. Overhead Door helped me by pointing out the website to first trouble shoot. My doors have been in for over seven years and this is the first time I have had a glitch. The doors have been superb and the expertise and guidance was excellent. My doors are working...yeah!

Nothing related to their work Im sure they do I excellent job but I did happen to notice while taking my kids to school one of their Box trucks speeding down the road and running a stop signs in Norfolk nov 27 19

My garage door came off the track and was stuck in a halfway position. Overhead Door had the door stabilized and closed in less than an hour, and will come back to replace the track which was bent. The technicians were polite, thorough in explaining what the problem was, and advised on safety issues and how to prevent the problem from occurring again. I highly recommend Overhead Door Company of Norfolk and will definitely call them with any future garage door problems.

In June 2016 I began a search to replace a pair of 31 year old wooden garage doors. After initial product research, I selected an Amarr Stratford Garage Door Model 3000 with a Liftmaster model 8355 garage door opener. I obtained two quotes: One from an Angies List top-rated installer and the other from Overhead Company Door of Norfolk. Paule Wolfe at Overhead Door responded and I found that he was very knowledgeable and helpful on all of the doors features. He answered all of my questions and aided me in the final selection of the doors including remote control, battery backup, wireless capability which I chose. He also provided a lower price on this same door package compared to the discounted price given by the Angies List recommended provider that I contacted. The Angies List provider also was far less knowledgeable on the door that I wanted. The Overhead Door removal of my old doors and the installation of the new doors was flawlessly performed by the installation team. These doors continued to perform for 3 years. In June 2019 of this year I called Overhead Door Co. for and estimated to replace a damaged lower door panel - car backed into it! Overhead Door Co. responded with a reasonable repair estimate and the repair technician, Pat, return our door to its original state in 2 hours. I highly recommend this company. Also, I would ask for Paul Wolfe!!

Let me start off by saying the only person posting 5 stars, Brooks Bradley, is the owners son. Now take it from me, a customer, this companys upper management is so broken. I began this terrible tale 3 months and 2 thousand dollars ago. I spoke directly to the owner, Alex, about a custom made, high lift door. One month later, yes a month, he sends his son, Brooks, out to consult with me. He goes through his check list of options, I really like what I am hearing, all is good, except no sir, green is not an option. Ok, well I guess Ill go with black, and repaint my front door and shutters. (GREEN IS AN OPTION!!) He tells me 3 to 4 weeks to make the door, and $450 for install. So 6 weeks later, my install day comes around, with the last two weeks of my wait including ignored calls, no call backs, and playing phone tag (I work from home, pretty one sided game). No one shows up, no one calls, Ive rearranged my whole day and garage for this day. I call Brooks at noon, hey man its my install day, where are you?Oh sorry Im sick today and so is the installer, we might get it tomorrow, and Ill take $100 off.I picked up the door and did it myself.So onto the quality of the door. Comes with weak plastic handles, the wrong springs, cables, hardware, and cable spools. If I installed this wrong stuff, I could have been seriously injured, because the cables are under alot of tension. Each panel of the door is within a half inch too short, too long, hits the track, everything sucks.Do not ever use this company if you care about quality or customer service.

Fast, fair price, reliable. They do what they say they will do on budget and on time. Quality work.
