Weve been looking for another local meat market, due to being unhappy with other places. Stopped by here today and was SO glad we did! Great selection, great quality, Very Clean and these guys were Wonderful people!! While we were waiting for them to freshly ground some burger for us, We decided to get a sub also, which was SO GOOD and fresh, as they sliced the meat to order, not already pre-sliced! We will DEFINITELY be going back from now on!!

I love this place and go here often. The deli sandwiches are out of this world and I crave them often. The meat selection is fantastic. The owners are super nice and its nice to have a local establishment where it feels like community.

Time goes by fast and this place has been around for a really long time so as I look back, I remember light-soaked joy; nevertheless, happy memories because of how amazing this place is and the tremendous impact it made.

Uncle Harvey asked for two things on his Birthday hamburgers and chocolate cake. Chocolate cake easy but I rarely buy ground beef from the grocery because it’s so disgusting. I had an idea and a brilliant idea it was to purchase the ground beef from the meat market down the street. It was the best idea ever!! The hamburgers were amazing!! They hardly shrank, were juicy, tender and absolutely delicious!! I will forever buy my ground beef at Shopwise Meat Market!

Ive been going to shopwise for 17 years, they have the best of the best cold subs in VIRGINIA, the best meats, biggest chicken wings that I have ever seen, they have what the owner calls his secret steak that is marinated , he has a stuffed chicken breast & a stuffed pork chop that are delicious. So go and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!

Place was packed which was a good sign at first, but then I literally watched one of the two employees grab dog bones for a customer in line and not once changed his gloves then coming right back to the cutting board grabbing bread and making sandwiches. Thought to myself ok maybe this was just a crazy coincidence. WRONG! Wanted to give this place a second chance and I don’t know if I just have horrible luck but I then watched money being handled multiple times with no glove change I thought to myself am I the only one seeing this as everyone else just kept placing orders as if everything was fine. I guess it’s going to take some sort of outbreak before anything is done about it.

My co-worker recommend this place to me because he knows I have extremely high standards when it comes to meat and subs. I checked this place out after work and purchased the secret flank steak and a loaded Italian Italian sub. The prices are fantastic, considering that everything is ultra high quality and the sub meat was sliced fresh in front of me. I shared the sub with my girlfriend and it was the best Italian sub Ive ever had and Im a grill master and chef, so fresh and quality is extremely important to me. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants high quality with excellent prices

I have had two bad experiences here. I will never do business here. My latest problem? My wife went here to get some shaved steak for some fresh Philly steak sandwiches. When she got there at 4:30pm she was told they could only shave the steak at 5:30pm (cause they shave lunch meat with the same machine ok no problem). I arrive at 5:30pm to get the shaved meat Oh Im sorry the guy is cleaning the machine. WHAT??? After the butcher see my disappointment he says well how much do you need? I replied 1 lb. His responds Oh we only sale 2 or more lbs. WHAT??? Your closing in 30 minutes. So we did pizza. Hope we didnt inconvenience him.

MASSIVE chicken breasts. Terrific house blend hamburger. BBQ pork chops are bangin. Hand cuts steaks and special orders are no problem...they advise on how to cook as well. They made me a bunch of South African boerewors sausage. I provided the spice blend, recipe and they provided the casings and meat according to the recipe. I walked out with a huge box of prepackaged servings. Great service as boerewors is NOT available anywhere and they arent scared to do custom meats.

Simply unreal how good their subs are. Loaded with meat, toppings and their hoagie sauce, YUM. Food tasted super fresh. If you want a classic hoagie - stop in here and you will not be disappointed! I got the Italian “the works” and I will 100% be going back to try other food items. This place is a gem!

We stopped in Wednesday and bought several filets and the mild Italian sausage. The filets were cut just right and were absolutely delicious. We also grilled the Italian sausage with the steaks and it was the best Italian sausage I have ever had. Went back on Friday and bought 3 more packages of Italian sausage to take back home with us. Great Service. Great Food.

Upon entering, my wife and I were warmly greeted by Jerome and Al. We talked with Jerome for several minutes regarding his shop and I was truly impressed by how much he loves his business and how well he seeks to treat his patrons. We were able to sample a few of the seasonings and quickly determined that we wanted to order hoagies here. I ordered the roast beef and turkey while my wife ordered the buffalo chicken. The roast beef and turkey was absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a delicious place to order hoagies come no further than Shopwise!

I was looking for a local place to purchase steaks for our beach house, and stumbled upon this gem located close to Sandbridge road. I am sure glad I found it. Well worth the quality when comparing to the chain store meats. The owner, Jerome, is really helpful and provides personal service which makes this the best choice. The place has a great oldschool vibe that sets it apart. Also looks like a great place for lunch. The subs are huge. Avoid the big grocery stores that sell average meat, and go to Shopwise for the best quality! Thanks guys, Ill be back!

The choices of different meats in this place is unbelievable. Everything is FRESH! The prices really are not too bad. Well worth the quality when comparing to Walmart meats. They have some marinated options too. Everything is ready to throw on your grill at home. The owner, Jerome, is a really nice and inviting guy from NY.A good spot for lunch. I love this place! The sandwiches are incredible... But the real winner here is the quality of the meat they sell. This is our favorite place to purchase steaks, especially filet mignon! Their filets are cut to order in the thickness you request... Cook them medium rare and you dont even need a knife! If you want a great steak, get your meat from here. Also, go ahead and try the secret steak, its great! The butcher is also super helpful and will give you advice on everything from what to get, to how to cook and slice it. Its our butcher shop from now on!

My 2 guys and I stopped in for some Hoagies for lunch in the middle of a hard workday. The meat was piled high (polar opposite of subway!)It was so good I picked up a ribeye for dinner. The gentlemen are friendly, and the ribeye is spectacular with their Kansas city steak rub. Thanks guys, I will return!

I was suspicious that he was stealing my venison, so I weighed my second deer before I brought it to him for processing, over 20 pounds short. A good friend of mine brought him 700 pounds of elk and he felt like he was missing ALOT of meat, guys that we all work with were talking about how shopwise meat market was giving away free elk. I have no proof, but a pretty clear picture has been painted. I will never bring this guy wild game ever again.
