Great place to take a little break...and tasted hmmmmmm

Oh yah, definitely going back! Tried their Boba Milk Tea for the first time. I enjoyed it so much I forgot to snap a shot before I finished it. 🙈The girl at the register was so sweet and super helpful. Would be a great spot to do some computer work or study if Covid wasn’t a thing but maybe one day! There may be some wait times cuz it doesn’t seem that this place is a secret lol so if you’re not in a rush I totally recommend. Will be trying their Boba Thai Milk Tea next! 😋

Ive been to several boba tea places and I must say I love this place and the varieties they have! If I have one critique it would be to say some of the teas are way to sweet, but I didnt request less sweetener and Im also not sure if this is an option there. If so it deserves a 5!

Quick in and out. I had the Taro Slush with bubbles and 0 sugar. I always think that the powder they use or mix has too much sugar even with no sugar added. Very sweet otherwise customer service is okay with maybe 2 minute wait after order (depends on how busy they are) and the bubbles are fresh and not too chewy.

Always very friendly, only downside is the bubbles/boba usually feel pretty old/more squishy than normal. But the taste in general is always great!

First time here! I ordered a coconut milk boba tea.Kung Fu Tea shares restaurant space with Five Spice Kitchen. So, I got food, too. I decided on 1 protein for $6?95, ordered the Spicy Shrimp over plain rice. The dish delivered on the spice. Good place to stop if you want a change from the everyday fast food menus.If you want a drink to accompany your meal, I suggest order your drink on the Kung Fu Tea side first so your food isnt getting cold while you wait on your drink. You cannot order your drink and food together.Both sides are clean, decently priced and have friendly staff.The establishments seating is a little uncomfortable if youre sitting on the long bench on the wall. You could choose one of the bar tables instead.Overall, I like this new find. Ill be back!

8 months pregnant and craving bubble tea so I’ll try to tone down my emotion, but I do not recommend this location at all. We placed a mobile order at 8pm (an hour before closing) and it said it would be ready at 8:08pm. We arrived a few minutes after 8:08 so the drinks (that we’ve already paid for) should have been waiting on us. Instead we were told they were out of bubbles and would not be making any more with more than half an hour until closing. This has happened at this location multiple times and another customer there tonight also voiced that this always happens at this location. We were then told we have to submit a request through the app to get a refund even though the app clearly states to contact your local store for a refund.🙃

I enjoy their flavors, but sometimes the drink can be super sweet even when you ask for 25% sugar. I normally order their taro slush w/ boba, but last time the taro had an odd taste to it, it didnt taste right or like how it should. Not sure if they changed the powder they use or what but it didnt taste that good.

Just drive to boba chef and if your hungry go to the restaurant next door. I literally wasted my money. Ordered the Korean beef tacos and got slabs of fat very disappointing and this wasnt the first time Ive had 2 other incounters where I ordered food and it just wasnt good at all i believe this place would be on point if they had better quality food, better customer service, and however my milk tea was okay. Not come here again. I rather go to ninja tea of boba chef even though it is a drive.

Tried Kung Fu Tea and Capital Crepe for the first time yesterday. From Kung Fu Tea: Strawberry Milk Milkshake - sweet without being overpowering. From Capital Crepe: Cocoa-Loco Sweet Crepe - Nutella, chocolate ice cream, Reeses, Oreos, chocolate chips, chocolate hazelnut wafer, whipped cream, and chocolate and caramel sauce. The crepe was delicious and all the flavors really melded together. That crepe was gone quick! Sweet on top of sweet (milkshake and dessert crepe) may have been a bit overkill on my part, but still good. (I had ordered the crepe to-go, but ended up eating it there.)

I can never say no to milk tea. Love the place, love the THAI MILK TEA, love the music. I love the capital crepe too but whenever Im craving for the food there its always close :(

Has pretty much all the flavors and types of tea a typical Boba/Milk Tea enthusiast would look for and more. Menu would be a little overwhelming specially for people new to milk tea but the server (Lanicelle) did a great job showing my wife preferred types of tea and explained really well. Fast service on a semi busy day.

So I have never been a fan of boba...but for some reason I keep giving it a shot and boy Im glad I did. This place has amazing Boba, they have everything from tea to shakes. This is the first time I ever thought Boba was amazing. I will be drinking more from this place. Great stuff.

Although I enjoy KFT, I feel like they are always out of stuff such as mango popping boba, mango jelly, etc. Especially popular ones. I would recommend going, but maybe it will be best to call ahead to make sure they’ll have the drink including the toppings available.

Although my sons love this place. We constantly have to wait long periods. Even placing the order via the app and go to pick up, we have to wait 10-15 minutes longer than what the pickup time says. This place is always out of boba!

Huge wait opening day but worth it! Even got order 66 sorry Jedi. I love lychee and the lychee punch is house made with fruit. Add pineapple coconut fruit to it for a bonus!

Absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to answer questions you may have. Theres a wide variety of flavors to choose from and you can even further customize your drink to your liking. I LOVE that they use lactaid only so theres no worrying over cross contamination if youre dairy sensitive or have a dairy allergy! ( Plus you can literally have just about everything on the menu and not worry about having an extra charge for a milk substitute).

My wife and I love boba tea! We recently came from Hawaii and had some really incredible boba out there! This is by far the best Boba tea in Virginia Beach. Great customer service and they also have a discount for veterans! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Love this place. They have a wide variety of teas and the flavors are just extravagant. Always love going here when I think I deserve a treat. The place is clean and the couches are comfy. They even have boardgames

Best boba in town! We’ve tried many places and this is by far our favorite!

The reason I gave two stars is for the good customer service I received from the cashier/barista. I ordered Taro milk tea with pudding and bubbles. The milk tea itself did not taste like Taro. Its flavor is weak and the pudding addition tasted funny and had a bitter aftertaste. The ambiance made me feel the milk tea is going to be good but it failed to deliver flavor intended.

It was easy to order and the service was quick but the tea was awful. The milk tea was mostly ice and watered down. The cocoa cream wow was not blended and had way too much chocolate sauce. I have visited other Kung Fu Tea locations and had a much better experience and better tasting drinks. Will not be returning to this one

Great boba tea with tea as the base (I prefer tea over water based boba tea). My go-to is the taro black milk tea for its unique flavor. If you tend to add tapioca balls to your drink, just be aware that they are soaked in something sweet. Not a bad thing, I like it that way, but it adds enough sweetness that I keep my added sugar level to 0.

I cant keep my wife and daughter out of this place. Maybe I should have given it one star..

I love coming here! All the slush drinks are great. I really love the milk teas too. My go to is either the coconut milk tea or the almond milk tea! Really cool place and atmosphere!

This place has some pretty yummy and tasty choices! I love coming here with the hubby for a sweet treat. The staff is always so friendly and nice; they are also so quick with making our order. I love getting the strawberry milk and pudding (its like flan at the bottom of the cup). Love how customizable the drinks can be.Really enjoy coming here for a quick treat! Definitely would recommend giving it a try!

Love this place. Ive been taking my kids here since theyve been open. Tried other places around the area and we keep coming back to this one. They taste way better than the competition.

I love Kung Fu Tea and I wish we had more of them in the area that were more convenient for me to get to. The staff is usually friendly and helpful and I enjoy the drinks (especially since theyre all made lactose-free).It is a bit inconvenient that the store is so small with not a lot of seating because when its busier, children tend to crowd the pick up window, but thats very minor and I can understand that a business of this type wouldnt necessarily need to invest in a lot of seating for customers long term.

Best bubble tea in the area! This location doesn’t have coffee beverages and the app conveniently doesn’t work at this location as well, make sure you screenshot you QR code to collect/ redeem points. Had to do this on my last 3 visits.

Overall, I like this place. My issue is that sometimes the drinks arent consistent in the way theyre made-- Ive ordered the same drink from here on a few occasions that tasted different during each one of them. Nonetheless, I still dont mind giving them my business as Im trying to be open towards ordering different things off their menu. The pearls they use in the bubble tea are a delightful treat. They have an abundant menu with numerous ways for you to customize your drink.

I love trying different types of teas from there. I love going there after work. There matcha red bean slush is the best.

Yummy drink, always have many options

Teas are decent but every time I go in I can barely hear myself think let alone hear the cashier. Music was so dang loud that I could hardly hear what the cashier was saying.

It is a very cool and laid back atmosphere. I love the young people working. It makes it upbeat and fun to come in to order. It was my family 1st time and the staff was helpful in having us decide what to try. We will definitely be back.

Love this place. Has a nice vibe, good drinks, and nice people. I’ve never had a drink I didn’t like. If I don’t know what something is, they will explain and give their opinions and even let me sample something new. Never experienced anything but good customer service.

We love KFT drinks but too frequently, we make the trek out only to find out that they’re out of flavors and the standard bubbles. They’ll sub the tiny bubbles, which I don’t like and for no discount. It’s happened to us 5 times in just a couple months. I recommend calling first unless you’re in the neighborhood anyway. I also wish they’d put more seating in, particularly since they now have the floor space.

They can’t keep there ingredients in stock. No coconut for over a week then no bubbles. Need a better owner or manager. Will find a better run business. E

Taro milk tea was lacking taste. The pina colada slushy was ok. Portions are pretty small.

Peach Oolong Tea. It was pretty delicious. It wasnt too sweet either. It had little bits of oranges in it. My only gripe is that Meagans was too sweet. Both her and my son agreed it was unusually sweet. 4.5 stars, but cant do .5 on here.

For anyone who’s concerning about out of stock ingredients. Our shipment comes from NYC once a month, sometimes popular ingredients like coconut, mango, or taro is unpredictable. I only come here on the weekends and every single time I order a drink they always tell me oh were out of stock or we discontinued that item like EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. WHY? When I want an item to be canceled instead of canceling it, they double charge me. So make sure to read the iPad with your orders on it carefully! They love to be sneaky. The service is pretty quite slow depending on the team of the day. So I dont come here anymore. Nor will I be recommending it to anyone.

Good bubble tea shop! Large selection, price was OK.. 2 large taro bubble (black tapioca) green tea for about $10. Alot of customization options for your tea, such as sweetness and type of teas, etc. Great service. Having experienced many bubble tea shops in NYC, this particular one was a great experience

I love bubble tea. However, most bubble tea places in Hampton Roads have subpar tea. Kung Fu Tea is one if the few exceptions. I first went here with my mom a few months ago after our friend suggested it to us. The decor was nice, the drinks were good, and the staff was very friendly.I ordered Taro Milk Tea with tapioca pearls(half sweetness, full ice) and my mom got the Mung Bean Slush. There were 3-4 other customers, and the wait was about 7 minutes. My drink was really good, and the tapioca pearls tasted wonderful. While the drink would seem average to people who live in places with a lot of bubble tea shops(like New York), it was easily one of the best I had encountered in Hampton Roads.There was a good variety of drinks and toppings to try, all of very high quality. The staff was also respectful, kind, and very helpful. The only downfall is that the flavors of some drinks are inconsistent and its a little bit on the pricy side. However, I loved the drinks here and I will be back for more!

Theyve added some high top tables, couches and made it more of stay a while environment.Hopefully they can come up with an effective method to offer the discount without being so inconsistent about it. Management is normally on site and is very willing to listen to any concerns.Located in a strip mall area next door to Dollar Tree and Pizza Hut. Shared parking with the other businesses. People frequently park in the fire lane due to laziness so keep your head on a swivel as you walk from the parking area.Bathrooms are well maintained and the common areas are visibly clean. Somewhat torn on future visits but its an enjoyable product.

Excellent Service and Yummy Boba!

This Kung Fu Tea is one of the most extravagant, stylish, and extremely dedicated store to serve a customer with such delicate and out of this world teas/drinks. Not only are their products exquisitely 100% invigorating, but their employees are very hardworking and courteous. Despite the long lines, they still manage to provide a fast paced, yet efficient customer service. I receive my drinks within only a few minutes, in comparison to the other boba places in VB. My school is only a few minutes away from the location, so thats also another positive aspect!

The workers there are really quick and time oriented. My drinks came out fast and they tasted amazing! The other milk tea places have nothing on KFT. The employees are nice, warming and pretty too! Check this place out :D

The design is spaceous and cozy which is good and consistent with the VB feel. However, the drink quality is not always consistent; there are times when its just hard to finish the drink because I dont want my money to go to waste.

Great tea, I go there almost weekly. Down side is the music is a bit LOUD. But it feels a bit modern which I guess is what they are going for. Tea taste awesome.

Went here the other week on a weekday. Ordered cocoa creme wow with milk cap. The cashier said “we only serve the milk caps on weekends now.” So i changed my order to just the cocoa creme wow without the milk cap, still “we only serve that on weekends as well.” Changed it to the Thai tea... she still says the same thing, “on weekends only”, my last request was the Kung fu milk tea, & she still says “On weekends only.” Okay? So why is this store open on weekdays if most of the products are served on “WEEKENDS only.” Long story short, I came back on Saturday since I was in the area, & since it’s a weekend, I ordered my first order & the cashier goes “Oh we are out of that” It’s either that’s true (which is bad for business), or staff just don’t want to make it. 🤔 I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, even recommended this place to friends but won’t be coming back to this location & won’t be recommending this place since they obviously don’t have anything on a weekday or even on the weekends. 👎🏼

Aside from the racist owner, the tea is low tier and bubbles are horrible. Try Gong cha instead or any other place really.

I love this place! The staff is extra friendly and you can sample flavors before you buy them. It’s small, quiet but cozy!

The ambience of the place is really nice. Free use of the WIFI is a good idea for the costumers and the drinks are really good. Also, the crew do a great job of getting the drinks out FAST, but it seems like the crew is too overcrowded ALWAYS.

The rose hip milk tea with bubbles was really good and the tater tots were really good too.

I love Kung fu tea. First started going in my home city and was excited to have one come here. Their menu is great and the boba is perfectly sweet and chewy. We come to this location a lot. Unfortunately, they aren’t very consistent with the orders. Sometimes the drinks don’t taste quite right and often at least one of the drinks in the order isn’t correct. Usually something like ice when asked for no ice. Once we even got a strawberry lemonade in place of a strawberry lemon green tea.

I love this place and would definitely recommend to my friends and family.Customer service is up to par, drink quality is awesome! Just like the Kungfu Tea in NYC. My wife and I always come back and would continue to do so as long as they keep pumping out those delicous boba tea!

Walked in not greeted was my first time there. Good price. Tea was good but not very friendly people. One girl kept looking at me, felt like she was wondering what i was doing there.

The location is ok, but given that it is in a small strip mall that consists of a dollar store and ethnic grocery shops, there isnt much to do here after grabbing a drink. Theres no outdoor seating for now, though there is room for it if its planned. Inside theres enough room to accommodate about a dozen people who want to stay and hang out. They have reasonably quick service during peak times. The drink choices are plentiful, and are consistent with the selections at other Kung Fu Tea locations. I personally would recommend the honey milk tea with nata jelly!

This place is always slam busy- a testament to the experience. I come here once a week minimum and have been for a couple months. This is definitely a spot to be.

My main issues with this location:1.) When youre ordering something to be on the less sweet side... Its still disgustingly sweet. Its a nuisance having to repeat myself when I ask for it to not be sweet. At this point Im sticking to jelly ball in lynhaven mall, theyve always accommodated this issue.2.) The environment feels awkward. If you dont fit in or just look different everyone will stare and talk. Ive had other friend experience the same. The main reason I have decided to stop coming here is because of how people within the store (customers and employees) treat you. Especially the men/guys who keep staring down other females inappropriately.

Better (and cheaper) than Starbucks! Try it and you might agree! A good starter, in my opinion, is their Kung Fu Milk Tea.

Update on my review: the boba is soo much better now!! idk if they got a new manager or sum but the boba is really good now and no longer hard! the tea isn’t my fav but it’s pretty average!

My experience has always been the same every time I go here I keep giving this place a chance, but its always the same every visit. When ordering the person at the cash register is always laughing when Im taking my order. Not only that, but when trying to order a specific drink they always tell me they ran out of one ingredient or the other. Im officially done going to this place. The workers are what ruined it for me.
