Im gonna be real,I dont like how this jewel is organized. It makes me feel like Im in the Twilight zone.I go to Glen Ellyn instead. I know you cant help it but still. Love yall tho

I love shopping at this store. It has great sales and nice employees. And close to home.

Its a grocery store. This store is a lot better than the one closer to me in Westchester . Bigger produce department. Lately the stores have been laid out differently from 40 years of being used to the lay out . Deli department needs to make wings more often. They were sitting out for 2 hours . All in all a good store .

New make of store is awesome. The osco people are the best ever. They help so much even on the jewel side. Each and every one and the jewel people rock too. Love this jewel more than any other

Dont really care for the customers that come into the store.. try to Act as if they are more than what they really are. Plain simple that is not special at all. Calm down people..

The staff is great! But the manager leaves a lot to be desired, the store is poorly stocked...shelves empty on day 1 of flyer. Been shopping here for over 50 years...it saddens me to see employee moral and condition of store at an all time low. I travel out of my area to shop unless I have a pharmacy pick up. I love my pharmacists and techs!

Everything was pretty much normal except for the deli/butcher area. Especially with a virus going around, you would expect extreme cleanliness. Almost all of the raw chicken wrapped by that department was damp or dripping with raw chicken juice.

A little pricey but a good selection and the staff is friendly.

Smaller Jewel lot less selection. Still ok for picking up quick items like milk, bread, ect.

They carry every thing that you need. Good customer service.

Fresh quality food. Price is good also.

I honestly prefer THIS specific jewel before any other ones in the area. they have a bunch of different selections of literally everything & ANYTHING and its soo easy to find everything. OH, AND the staff are EXTREMELY FRIENDLY! :)

My family has shopped here for many years and while its never been great for selection or price the people are nice and its convenient. But the delivery is really unsatisfactory. For whatever reason many items are available to order but then at delivery you are told they are out of stock. I do not mind substitutions but theres no way at time of order to determine what will be substituted and what you just wont get. Obviously having to go to the store to pick up the items not delivered (things like bread, milk, meat, cheese, even frozen items) makes ordering groceries useless. I am going elsewhere

I go to this location a few times a week. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Especially Adam and Percy, not sure about their last names but they go above and beyond to help me find something or help with self checkout. They always brighten my day! Love the Villa Park Jewel!!

Had flu shot done at pharmacy everyone very nice.

Its a smaller jewel. The staff is nice. The layout is easy to navigate. The only thing is half the time they dont have what youre looking for

Ive shopped at most grocery stores.. jewel-osco has mostly lower prices due to always having sales during the week and the store brand isnt bad either.. also I know for a fact they take there refrigeratoration seriously.. when they have a cooler that isnt working properly they remove the product.. some stores leave the product in..... 🤔

I wont be going to this location anymore. The lady in the flower department didnt greet me when I came to her station but she greeted the old Caucasian guy after me. They need to be a lot more strict on their hiring process and only hire people thats fair to everyone, and not just certain people.

Jewel is a good place for basics and variety of specialties

Went to go look at sunflowers, but it was closed due to dove hunting season...that part was disappointing because it was not posted on the web...but we did take a real cool hike to the Vermilion River...so it wasnt a wasted trip...Dove hunting starts September 1st so the sunflower field will be closed...

Kevin Kelly helped us with the app and walked us through issues we had. He really made our Jewel experience pleasant.

Ive always had a very good review of the Wheaton Jewel. They have the friendliest people, and always ready to help. During the pandemic they have set up many ways to safely shop. They all earn the 5 star review every day.

Prices skyrocketed after they were purchased.They do have good deals sometimes. But you have to set up an account and check weekly for the specials. I resent having to waste my time this way and rarely shop there.

Floral department is top notch! Judy is amazingly talented & was a joy to work with. She knows her stuff, is flexible & works with you to create your version. They were also reasonably priced. I will be back again, thank you again Judy!!!🌷

Went to the self checkout line and noticed an older woman at the register, asked if this register was available and she barked back “No! I’m putting bags on it, so why don’t you just relax”Sure hope you train your staff better, god knows there are tons of other places I can take my business

Good I got my kids a free cookies and they had everything on the shopping list.

Store clean, neat and ready for business except out of stock for hottest sale item of the week. Same story in 5 other area Jewels with liquor departments. No stores had displays. Deliberate attempt by Jewel/Osco senior management to reduce sales of hot digital coupon. Why advertise if you arent going to have the product? No rain checks!!

Convenient location near my home & no long lines. Also has all your baby needs.

So slow it took 30 min to get something from deli with only 1 person in front of me. What made it even worse was there was 7 people behind counter and only 1 little older lady helping people. Jewel doesnt get it that retail is about customer service

Use to live near, now in Indiana. Prices are out of controll in Illinois. No food tax in indiana.

I dont go to this store often but I was able to get what I needed. I feel the aisles are are bit too over stocked in some areas which is over whelming when Im in a hurry. Good produce selection

Very convenea nt to go shopping for grocery and good sales sometimes

Since this jewel has been remodeled its one of my favorite grocery stores to go to. they have a large selection of items in each trial and also have great prices. Especially with things that have gone on sale. Its also very well kept and clean. They now have a very large self service check out area too.

I love, love, LOVE, Jewel-Osco. That being said, this particular one is not my regular store and the customer service leaves much to be desired. I was very impressed with the florist counter and the woman that assisted me was pleasant, and took her time to arrange my flowers beautifully!

Jewel in villa park is a rip off. They raise the prices for their buy one get one free items. They put like items next to each other and one of them is on sale. Watch what youre buying if you dare to shop there.

The meats in the deli are not that fresh

This location has gone down hill even though they remodeled. Went the other evening and there were a ton of people walking around the store without masks. Employees cant say anything and management clearly isnt enforcing it or doesnt care. Produce is always bad. Prices are high and aisles are not organized correctly and they dont have a big selection of products. Save yourself the trouble and go to one of the other stores in the area!

Home town Jewel. Good place to shop...

No stars. Their produce looks rotten and even when it doesnt it will rot within days of pucrchase.Very understaffed. 1 hour to get cheap chicken on Mondays. Only two guys at deli station.They are very overworked. Help wanted sign up. I wonder why you cant find workers?Everyone looks super unhappy and overworked

Five stars...all because of the superb customer service given by Marlene (Cashier). Shes always such a joy...Everytime I come into the store and am utilizing the self checkout registers. Extremely helpful, smiling face, and just overall kind. Marlene goes over and beyond. Makes it such a positive experience to shop here.

I have heard from other people that they will not order from the deli at this location as it is very unclean.

Always have fresh fruits and vegetables. Store always clean and neat.

Standard grocery store. Good prices and selection. Meat is not the best. Store is not as nice as other Jewel stores in the area. Not that it is dirty or not kept up, it just is not updated like many surrounding stores. Overall it is convenient and close. For basic grocery needs it works fine. Higher quality (though higher priced) specialty stores can supplement the lacking quality here.

The employees are usually very friendly and it seems like the people who work there stay there, because theres been the same people working there for so long. They redesigned the store so its more functional too. But the prices at jewel are high, thats why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I feel that Jewel Osco is a worthy place to shop. We have been shopping there for years. They have some products that I cant find in other establishments. I also found out that Jewel Osco locally sourced many products from local providers.

Groceries are dumb.

Old tired looking store with some recent updates. Deli service is very slow. Workers stand around with 1 or 2 taking orders. Last visit my wife stood in line to get chicken while I walked around the entire store doing the rest of the shopping. I went back and she hasnt been helped. Always long lines to check out not because of a number of customers but because lack of cashiers. Rude customer service overall.

Just went for the Coinstar but Im sure they sell groceries there

Male employees talking down to me because i look a teen age girl cant even give me a proper and polite answer instead i get a kind of noxious in a wave of a hand saying its in that direction look there thats why Im asking you dont wave me of like a child

Did not have the brand of cheddar cheese I wanted and did not have my Dawn dish soap in stock. Otherwise I was able to get in and out quickly.

We bought some muffins in the bakery that said they were raisin bran,but when we ate them thry were in fact pumpkin i was very disappointed because raisin bran are my favorite i dont care much for pumpkin.

Everyone kind & helpful. I have found one cashier to be a little weird, by self check out. I let my daughter help me scan items and he was all up in our business ensuring we didnt steal any onions/spinach. Good for the store I suppose, but uncomfortable for customers. I feel like the store is clean and havent noticed any weird smells like some of the other reviews. I also have been able to call in and ask for something on few occasions and they find it for me without any hesitation. So even with creepy cashier, five stars.

I am EDITING my prior review. They put a huge amount of work in to the produce, meat, and deli section. Very nice looking, kept clean, and reasonably well stocked. Seasonal things, like fresh limes in December, need work, but you cant really fault them for that. I love the way they updated the store.
