This was my first time in this location. The gentlemen working were not friendly nor did they ask if I needed help with what I was looking for. I also wanted to sell some items and was told to just put it on the floor why he continued what he was doing. Great response would have been -Hi! Sure I can take a look at your items. If you can give me 10 minutes, let me finish and I will be more than happy to help!

This store has an awesome selection of all kinds of sports equipment at good prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for sporting or workout equipment.

Rich is a great businessman.Whether its hockey baseball wrestlingSoccer track and field weight lifting cross training they have what you need at a fair exchange.I recommend taking store credit and getting something nice for yourself his October.

Friendly staff members, knowledgeable about their sports inventory. They ask if you need help and let you browse the shop without interference, if you so desire. No pressure whatsoever, they have a large inventory of new and slightly used sports equipment at very reasonable prices. 2 thumbs up from a 5 sport official.

I recently visited this store and was amazed by their incredible customer service. I came in looking for hockey equipment since this is my first season playing, and they helped me find everything i needed from helmets to skates, and they were able to save me lots of money on all of this. 10/10 would recommend coming here for all of your sporting good needs!

The staff was very helpful in helping me find what fit my son. As well as showed us the helmet he has adjusted and fit still instead of just selling us a new one. Even fixed a screw on it for us. Would recommend coming here to anyone needing equipment.

As a figure skating teacher within the area I send lots of my students here to get figure skates/ hockey skates and equipment. The parents always come back with a compliment about how well their trip went and how satisfied they were with the customer service. One employee in particular whose name has always came up, was David, the supervisor. I will continue sending my students back to this play it again sports for they will recieve the best service.

Filthy used equipment: a used bench for 50 bucks looked like it should have been 5 bucks at a garage sale. Not even wiped down and wayyyy over priced. People wont buy this stuff when you can get it for 5 bucks more on amazon.

Came into the store looking for a lax helmet, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and was led into the lacrosse section. They had a very good selection of sticks to choose from. Guys were great, definitely will come back for more stuff.

They had good service and everything but something was missing. I feel they can really revolutionize their business if they had a drive thru. You see if they had a drive thru then they can maximize their organization and not have to waste a bunch of time and money in attempt to keep their store in tip top condition. In addition to this they could annex the empty store next to them and use that as a place to drop off used equipment in exchange for currency. Just a little food for thought there, other than that the store was excellent and I highly recommend shopping here for new and used sporting equipment

Staff is polite. However, they never followed through with my requests. I called four times, continually being told they would get back to me later in the day, which never happened....I am still waiting. I chose to do business with a different Play it Again Sports, happy I did quick courteous service.

Ive been to this store on multiple occasions to get my daughters softball equipment. The staff has always been more than happy to help and very knowledgeable about the sport. All in all Ive always had a pleasurable experience at this store and will continue to shop there.

This store was very unorganized and just a mess! Looks like someone just back a truck of used equipment up and dumped it in a store! They did make a walking trail to be able to walk through the store without tripping but that was it. Clean it up!

Went in to look at what kind of stuff they had to offer, and wow. The fitness equipment was extremely overpriced by far. For used equipment. You can get the same thing brand new for way less at a major sporting store. Asked staff if their was any promos or discounts on the equipment and extremely rude. Said if I can read I can see the prices. So offended. Never again.

Had a pleasent experience in the store. Staff went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. I bought most of the equipment at a different Play It Again, but the Villa Park store had the helmet for my son. It was smooth and the price was right! Will definitely recommend to other people!

Couple years ago I called looking for a few different weighted softball bats, not only did they find them at another store but the shipped them to my local store the next day. Picked them up and didnt need to pay for the bats to be transferred over. Great customer service, for anyone who is complaining about this locations staff get real these employees know what they are doing and they do it very well!

Went in to suit up my 2 kids for hockey and a very knowledgeable sales person helped me tremendously. The other staff took my old gear and ended up giving me more than expected. Thanks guys I will certainly be back!

They had 30% off on a board and i forgot the mention it when i checked out. But why should i remind them to give me discount? they should be honest and give me discount without a reminder. And then i came home and call them to ask about the discount. Cashier said oh we forgot to take that down, it was for last week. I doubt it, so i went in the next day and purchased more stuff to see if theyll give me 30% and they did. I think it was the owner( old asian guy) and then i mentioned i made purchase yesterday and told discount was for last week. He was like i donno and just left.

Went there to get some golf equipment. The staff was very helpful in getting the selection and getting started. Very helpful sales staff.

The staff was very immature HORRIBLE and rude. I showed up at 4:30 ro have them look at a set of golf clubs and bag. They asked if I look around the store and someone would be right with me, so I did. I quickly arrived to the front of the store where I watched the employees focusing there attention on bring all the stuff in from the outside instead of helping me. About 20 minutes later this kid comes up to me and says we will take a pass (Without looking at my clubs). I dont mind the fact that they may not want them but please dont waste my time and give me attitude when I am trying to have you help me.I know you dont want to stay a minute past 5 but I mean there was like 4 of you and not one of you could help me, you are to busy bringing bikes in from outside closing up at 4:30 when it says you are open @ 5. What makes matters worse I have been a loyal customer for years and I get treated like this. I WILL NEVER COME BACK. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE WITH NO MANAGEMENT.

Good place for new and used gear. Staff was polite and knowledgeable. They take items on trade. I play hockey and got what I needed.

Great products new and used. Its seasonal though so if your looking for gear to practice before a season it may be hard.

Store is pretty messy and employees dont help much. Ive been to this location twice and the employees just sit behind the counter while shoppers shop unattended. After looking for a heavy bag for some time, I walked up to ask for help.Customer service felt on par with Wal-Mart

Once I called there and asked if they had a Wilson a2000 dp15and the owner said yes they do so I go in there too look at it or buy it but the owner lied and said that they did not have it so he tricked me in there too look at merchandise

No used jock straps? WTH!? Ill never pay full price for new.

They advised me only to make the sale and I ended with inadequate equipment. The staff is useless. Im not coming here again.
