Adam Rutherford made the whole new vehicle purchase scenario easy and pleasant. He fully explained every aspect of the vehicle and its numerous features. He listened and answered all of our questions. When we opted to actually purchase a different GMC Sierra than the one we first test drove, he made that a seamless transition as well. We went to several other dealers prior to Starling, and the difference was dramatic. Everyone at Starling was pleasant, easy to deal with (sales and finance), and never pressured us towards the vehicle. Starling had that small town dealership feel that we were used to from up in New Hampshire, and it made a world of difference in our decision as opposed to the you need this/buy it now/sign here attitude of the other dealers we visited.We would have no hesitation regarding recommending Adam Rutherford or Starling GMC to anyone we knew who may be interested in a new vehicle. Ive been buying GMC trucks for over 30 years, and look forward to continuing this tradition with Starling GMC.

Where should I begin! I drove 2+ hours (from Orlando) to this particular dealership to purchase a Buick Encore. From start to finish it was a very easy process thanks to Orlando Fernandez who helped me close the deal on my first car, ever! The managers were also amazing when a bit of an inconvenience became present. They were able to accommodate me and delivered the car to my front door! They made sure I was happy with the process from beginning to end. Awesome customer service! I will definitely be coming back for a future purchase.

Excellent service! I leased a 2020 GMC terrain two years ago. I had to have a recent oil change and tire rotation in mid August, a representative called and asked me to wear a mask when bringing in my vehicle. I was extremely happy that they were doing this. I was going to wear one either way. Great service and great way to take care of your customers AND employees safety! I will never leave you, you have me for life! I guess I will always have GMC vehicle! #Customerforlife!!!! I have passed this along to many friends and relatives that have not had as great of an experience and are thinking of changing over.

We had such a positive experience with Starling and salesman Mark B. We HIGHLY recommend the dealership and Mark.Wed been looking for a good used car for awhile now. A lot of places local to us (Cape Coral) are practicing bait & switch with the pricing, cars not as advertised, or multiple sales people ganging up on us to intimidate us into buying a car. At Starling, the online price IS the price for a used car. Not a price to attain through 15 hoops to jump.We saw a few used cars on Starlings website and on another Venice dealers site and figured why not go there? We already drive there to go to the beach. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Starling was our 1st stop. We were approached by Mark & only Mark (yay!). With a quick hello from a manager. He made it a breeze to put a hold on 1 we really liked, didnt bombard us about coming back, which we did 3 days later. The purchasing process was quick & easy. They got the payments where we wanted them & even stayed late helping us.Were so impressed that were probably driving over an hour to buy a new SUV there at the end of this year. Meanwhile we have 2 local Buick GMC dealerships on the way. Thats how good this place is compared to them. Id give 10 stars if I could. 🙂

I was dropping my Acadia off a day early for an oil change. The advisor offered to do it for me the same day instead of having to come back. I waited for the service which was completed promptly.. I appreciated the excellent service. Way better service than Sunset Chevy GMC in Sarasota. I live in Sarasota and will be using Starling for the duration of owning my vehicle. Good service is worth the drive.

We had been on the hunt for the perfect car for a while. We came across the vehicle online and though it was an hour drive to get to the dealership it was worth it. From setting the appointment to see the car to the welcome we received when we got there it was a great start. The experience just got better as we started looking at the car. Joe our sales guy was incredibly helpful but not pushy. He worked with the sales manager to make it work for us. Beware, they cannot fix a vehicle. In and out mileage are the same which shows no test drive to duplicate a concern or to see if correction was made. Ask a friend who they use and try them. Not sure I would feel safe having them fix a tricycle with no gears and plastic wheels.

Problem with air conditioning was solved. Expensive. Since this was a CERTIFIED purchase just a few years ago, we did not expect to find a leak, nor have expensive components replaced so soon. However, the system works superbly now, and we appreciate the Service Dept. and the work and improvement that was done for our Enclave. Also, kudos to Casandra, the Starling rep. at the Service counter who is efficient, caring and kept us informed.

Very disappointing. It started good upon arrival, I was greeted by a nice friendly man. I told him the issue I was having with the shift to park warning coming on when I turned off the car. It has been happening on and off for a couple weeks. He said that was a common problem and an easy fix by replacing a module. I left the car and was told by Kassandra she would be calling sometime after noon. I hadnt heard anything by 2:00, so I called. She told me my car was ready to pick up, they could not duplicate the problem so they would not replace anything. She also said since it was under warranty nothing could be done until they see the problem. Kassandra was not very apologetic, just matter of fact. So, now I get to play the game of when the problem happens again, I make an appt. but when I bring it in, its not doing it so we go back and forth. It is about a 40 min drive one way to Starling so it isnt very convenient to make 2 trips back and forth. This is under warranty and a common problem and Im very disappointed they could not just replace something that they know has been faulty. I have done research also and it is common issue with this car.Lazy?Cheap?Unconcerned about customer?.....Maybe one or all of the above.I will try another Buick dealership for service in the future.

Just bought a used car on 7/3, and heres my impression so far:1) Solid communication - found through Car Gurus, and had fast, reliable communication before my visit (Annelise)2) Nice staff - I was helped by Adam, who was very kind and patient while we took the car on two test drives (one with air conditioning off and other with it off)3) Trust - Adam pointed out a couple of things with the vehicle that I didnt catch, so that improved his / their overall trust factor4) Speed - I called at 9am, was there by 11am and bought the car by 1pm...I think that might be fastest ever buying a car5) Convenience - they sold me an affordable aftermarket warranty so I got 3 year / 36 mile powertrain warranty that covers my 4x4 feature, and paying was efficient with credit card and check (debit card would be better)6) Clean - both the facility and car were cleanImprovement areas1) I had some large cosmetic issues with the car, and instead of putting the cost of repair with the cost of the vehicle (discounted), they said I should trust they will help me work with their collision center (will update on this later if they are true to their word)

They did body work on my truck. It looks good. The service person was awful. Mike was short when I ask what they found. It is in the paperwork. Where is my truck, out front somewhere. Never went over the truck at all. Will never recommend them. Ask to have oil change and tire rotation and they only did the oil change.

Made appt for oil change and to find a coolant leak. After 2 hours, I walked to the desk to see what was going on since nobody bothered to keep me informed. By the third hour, I was presented with an estimate that I declined and then they tried to sell me 4 tires. Communication was horrible.

I had such an incredible experience with starling Buick gmc. From the first inquiry to driving off the lot the experience was perfect. I spoke with Rachel and she found me the exact car I was looking for and even allowed me to put the car on hold until I could get down there. When I got there Steven was ready get me on the road. Amazing buying experience! We visited there and other dealerships three times before deciding on an Enclave sold by sales rep Stuart Grimes. Very patient and respectful how expensive a decision this is. We had a checklist on a clipboard we used to compare features among cars. We are hugely satisfied. We purchased a vehicle a year ago that had high miles and lots if problems. We haf purchased the extended warrantee, which paid for a new transmission. Cassandra in the service department worked with us when we came in for issues and normal maintenance. She was always friendly, compassionate, and professional. With all the problems we had with the vehicle, she went above and beyond our expectations. We decided we had enough of the problems with our vehicle and worked with Charlie in sales to find another vehicle. He found us a beautiful vehicle we can feel comfortable in and confident it wont leave us stranded. Charlie was patient and understanding. He is an outstanding salesman who does not fit the stereotype of a car salesman. We were given a fair price for our trade in, and left with an extended warrantee that gave us bumper to bumper coverage for at least three years! The atmosphere at Starling is not high pressure and Cassandra and Charlie are great examples of excellent customer service!

We recently bought a 2017 Envision Premium II here, and due to that being the model we wanted, along with the fact that we live 2 hours away, the team went above and beyond taking care of everything to get our new-to-us car into our driveway, even when a couple snafus popped up. Although it has changed its name and ownership my loyalty to this dealership remains. I have leased four cars from them over the last 12 years. Compared to others, it is a small dealership where you receive personal attention. My current salesperson is Stuart Grimes. Stuart is at the top of the list for car salesmen. He is my opinion old school..... knows his product, takes his time with you, keeps a sense of humor, listens well to your needs, is upfront as to what he can do and cannot do ( although I havent heard much as to what he cannot do) and finally a joy to work with when purchasing a vehicle. Frankly, i have not, over the years had to haggle with them.... I think their price has been good and they are smart enough to realize that if the sale goes well, they will see me in three years. Based on visits to other dealers for my spouses car, other dealers can learn a great deal from Stuart. My kudos to Stuart and this dealership.Final comment....their service has been good although there has been a revolving door of service advisors. They get the job done and to be frank GMC car is so good, that minimal service is required.

TAKE THE TIME TO READ: It was a relief to be in the company of folks that treated me like people. Tacoma I came to inquire was as they advertised and we easily came to the same agreement I attempted at other dealerships. Spent over a month actively searching for a pre-owned pickup that was specific for what I wanted. Several stealerships visited in the time frame with very unreasonable prices or trying to sell me something that I was not in the market for. If you are reading this, obviously in the market, do yourself a favor save the time and headache of other places that will treat you like a piggy bank. You will get a square deal at Starling with good people to assist you in your purchase. Just my experience, thank you folks at Starling.

I feel that I was taken advantage of with so many repairs. I wanted a oil change and rotating of tires and air in tires. I thought there was a warning light for brakes but it was a warning light for low pressure in tires. But after inspection I was told I needed new brake pads and rotors. They also told me I needed 2 front tires and alignment and induction cleaning. Total $2,000.00 I said no to induction cleaning. Saving $200.00. Then they said they would take off $100.00. Then they didnt have the tires in stock so I told them not to order them so they didnt do the alignment until I got new tires. I got bill for $718.94. I believe that I didnt need new rotors or brake pads. My 2016 Buick Enclave has only 34,577. miles, then when I got my car back it had 34,587 miles. They drove it 10 miles. WHY?Also my friend told me the tires had more time on them. I AM 65 YEARS OLD AND A FEMALE. I believe that they found a sucker.

I was always pleased with the dealership but now, Im not sure. I just got my report from The computer, and it tells me that my tires are at 32 lbs in the rear and 33 lbs in the front. So, that means my rear tires are low. Im not at all pleased about this since I was just in the dealership and I am just getting around to write this report. If this is the type of service I am going to get, Ill go back to Tampa for service. I expected better in Venice and I was hoping to get it. the dealership in Punta gorda, is a joke. You have been doing pretty good as far as I was concerned until this last service.

I went to Starling to fix a check engine light on my gmc sierra slt 1500.I walked into showroom and was greeted by Charlie. I sat down with him and discussed trading in my 2019 acadia denali for a 2020 acadia denali lease.Within less than 45 minutes he came back with a lower price than my 2019 acadia.So I was so happy with all staff members from customer service to salesman to detailers, and even the higher ups. Took my new vehicle in today for its first oil change. The vehicle was returned to me with dirt and gravel inside the vehicle, and a big paint chip on my door handle. Although they accepted responsibility and will replace and paint the door handle, it is the carelessness in which they treated my new vehicle that Im concerned about. Accidents can happen, but carelessness is another matter.

Everything is good except those cheesy starling stickers they put on the back of the cars they are ugly and cheap and the glue melts and makes the symbol slide down the back of the car so they look even worse then they already do

I honestly cant say enough good things . My salesman David got us the best deal told me about savings I didnt even know about like a Costco card. There was no pressure totally relaxed . This was my 4th dealership I went to from now on it will be the first ! Go see David hes great also the manager Paul was wonderful and Charlie in finance made everything so easy and quick you cant do better than that. A++ Dealership !

I called last Tuesday (3/2) afternoon to inquire about ordering and installing roof racks on my 2021 Buick Enclave. They ordered them for me and told me they would be in on Wednesday and we made an appointment for 9:30 AM Thursday morning for the installation. I called Wednesday afternoon to verify 9:30 AM Thursday was still okay, they told me yes. I get there Thursday morning after driving 30 minutes to that location because we drove down from Ohio. I sit there for 40 minutes to have the guy come ask me if they told me my parts were not going to be delivered until 12PM that day. No one called me the day before so I had to drive back to our rental house and wait until they called me and drive another hour round trip back there to have them installed. The guy offered me a 10% discount. Terrible customer service. Wasting someones time because someone doesnt know how to pick up a phone and call their customer is not okay. My time is just as important as anyone elses. I will not be coming there if I need anything else in the future on my vacations and I certainly will not be referring them to anyone. Horrible way to conduct business. I work in customer service myself and would be mortified if one of my associates treated a customer like that.

Called Starling 3/8/21 to schedule second of two no charge maintenance oil, filter, 4 wheel rotation. Stated to service personal that service was due,@ 14,000 miles and car odometer implied such. Service personal agreed to honor the above and appointment was made 8am 3/11/21. Arrived 7:45, service rep, Cassandra Penla did necessary paperwork. Upon signing forms, Ms Penla informed me a charge of $59.95 for oil and filter because I was out of date. Told her not to bother that I would take care of that elsewhere. Attitude changed (now unfriendly), no charge. Every patron got free car wash, but not me. Word of mouth is the best advertiser and I will exercise that.
