Completely painless to visit in the final hour. Pleasant staff who were eager to help. I prefer to shop on the website where it is easy to search for a product you need. I tend to get a bit overwhelmed shopping in a crate or hobby store. Only drawback is that some of the really great savings are only available in store.

I love Joann Fabrics i visit this location often but unfortunately it is small store comparedto other Joann stores. All the employees are very nice that Ive meant there. If you need help with something you will have to locate an employee to ask for help. Theres never more than 2-3 people working from what Ive seen over the years of going through. There are times Ive had to wait in line for check out or to get fabric cut but its normally not that long of a wait. Never trust what the website/app says is in stock or out of stock or not sold in store. For example today I needed Gem Tac, I checked my app(yes there is a Joann Fabrics App with great discounts)to see if they had and it told me it wasnt sold in that store. I stopped in the store because I was close and by and guess what they had it. A 4oz bottle of Gem Tac was $6.99 but I went on my app and found a 25% Off coupon on whole purchase and a 50% Off coupon for one regular priced item so I got it for real cheap. One thing I do wish about this location is they add more craft supplies. When you walk into this store the right side is all fabric other then a few end shelves and the left side is all the craft stuff. I cant complain because the next nearest Joann location is 35 miles away and I hate driving far. The store is always clean and prices always marked but lighting not that great. I use my phone flash light sometimes to see stuff lol. All and all its a good store it just has some flaws but thats what makes it great.

This is the smallest JOANNS Ive ever been in. It seemed to have a good fabric department, but not much else.

By far the tiniest little Joann store out there. It’s like an old fashion Woolworth with nothing I need. Maybe thread or needles, but nothing advertised in the weekly ad. And, they must be trying to save on utilities. It is really dark. Please, don’t waste your time.

My visit was on a Sunday. Maybe thats why I waited in line for 45 minutes for one cashier. The sale was great! The check out awful.

The photos that come up under this location are completely incorrect,see below, that is not this store not the inside of this store. This location is by far the smallest Joann Fabric Ive ever been in and their inventory is half the size as well. It looks like a very old location from the inside. Id only recommend it if you ran out of something small like needles and thread but for anything else, dont waste your time.

I really want to like Jo-Ann Fabrics. I like to so I like to be creative I like to be crafty. This location in Venice is always stressful theres never enough people working here and the people that do work here must be underpaid because it is always a really stressful environment and everyone seems really crabby. Also seems to be a lot of tension. Maybe they should have some happy music in the background? Just a suggestion. Tried to take a sewing class here, not even offered. Had a bad experience in Sarasota. Guess thats that. Wish Joannes was a better company.... I love to be crafty, I just wish that it was easier to go here without feeling stressed out. Would like to be able to support them. They should hire more people or pay them better?

Sorry to say I was disappointing . Hoping to pick up a yarn that has been missing from the shelf for a couple of weeks. Still unavailable, even though the price tag and yarn name still there. Someone is not doing their job.

I pretty much always find what I want and the coupons are somewhat helpful. As almost everything in the store is on sale all the time, the coupons are usually only so-so helpful. The store is clean, material is easily available. Most of the staff are helpful.

I was buying fabric to make pillows for my classroom and was shocked that my total was $144. Cindy helped me review the receipt and she found an error put on the ticket for my fabric. She also helped me find a coupon. After the refund and coupon, I save $36! Cindy was so kind and helpful and didn’t mind reviewing it with me. I worked in retail for five years and know how irritating it can be to have a customer question their total, yet Cindy showed no sign of irritation and was very patient with me. Gold star to Cindy!

The was darker than most stores.. I’m thinking they had some of the lights of to safe on electricity? Not sure. The store was very quiet, not many people in the store. It seems to have not been updated for a while. It seems old and not a normal colorful Joann’s I’ve been to. The lady behind the counter as a cashier was rough and gruff. After I paid I realized their was a coupon so I returned to the store a few minutes after to get price adjustment. It seemed to make her annoyed that I was asking for an adjustment. At this point she proceeded to tell me that “the company was not making money because people use to many coupons?! And that the company will not hire more staff for the amount of people that come in.” I was a bit confused as to why an employee would say that to a customer. (BTW there were only 5 or 6 people in the store) Completely unacceptable behavior for customer service person. I have been in customer server for years and never would that kind of information come out of my mouth. The only reason the store received 3 stars is that she ended up making a mistake and went to get another employee to help. That employee was very good at her job. And made the transaction much smoother at the end.If you are going into this store, please download their app for coupons.

Its a decent store, but the inventory is limited and prices are high. Also, everytime I go there it is really messy. If you know what youre looking for its fine. I prefer other Joann locations over this one. At, this location there are no classes offered either. There are other locations and other stores nearby that are bigger and have a better selection.

The best thing going for this location is the staff. The selection of fabrics is lacking, there are no classes offered, and it feels like they have stuffed the location as full as it can possibly be without exploding to the point where you have a difficult time even putting the fabrics back on the shelf. It is difficult to find things because it is so full and doesnt always feel very organized, in regards to location.The staff are usually friendly but not always knowledgeable. There is a lady at the cutting counter whos name that I cannot remember but she has long, curly hair and she is always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. If she isnt some kind of manager or shift lead she should be.

Went in for specific items. Will go back to browse when I have more time. Well stocked.

Typical JoAnns ploy to bring you into the store. 60% off coupon almost useless on fabric because everything already had at least 20% off. Fabric quality has slipped over the years while prices skyrocket.

Provides a wide array of products and organizes it easily so everything can be found. Staff is very helpful and they offer a lot of sales so be on the lookout for any!

An elderly lady (90s) was in the store and wanted to buy a sale item and couldnt come up with a coupon because she doesnt have a cell phone, computer, etc to print one. The cashier tried to explain it to her without success and wouldnt give her the sale price. Very disappointing to see that kind of customer service. Would it have killed her to do that?

Although they didnt have the paracord needles/fid I was looking for, I was greeting instantly by an enthusiastic associate who was extremely knowledgeable about any questions I had.
